“The rotisserie chicken was moist and seasoned well with a tasty skin on it. It came with a wonderful green dipping sauce.

I was surprised at how good the vegetable sides were. They were perfectly cooked brassicas and carrots which were seasoned well with a mild teriyaki sauce.

The food was served on handy trays with built in sauce holders.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Several staff exceeded expectations and they clearly care about their customers and their food.

I hope to come back and enjoy the outdoor seating section one day.“

The service was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. We even brought our little one she is two and quite a picky eater and cleared her plate. The waiter mentioned he was having a bad day after the "Shelby came out of me"...I guess a bad day was what he was serving as well even if we just wanted shrimp tacos....I didn't get the tacos...I just got a bad day...then went to Burger King 👑 had it my way. I'll cook my own tacos tomorrow! Don't eat at Mi Pueblo on Stratford road. We couldn't even complain because the manager had to get translation from Lucifer....our waiter.... eat popcorn PBJ sandwich even if you're allergic to PBJ just don't go there.“

“Normally a solid restaurant, but last visit was fairly disappointing. This was the first time I ordered from the brunch menu. The bacon was basically candied, which was not my favorite and the deviled eggs with pimento cheese were really salty. The poached eggs in the breakfast bowl were very watery, which was off-putting and the grits were strangely gigantic and super soft, although they tasted good. I'd only ever gotten lunch or dinner there before, so I probably will be sticking with that moving forward instead of the brunch. Important to know that this is an open kitchen, so if you're in the main dining room, it's almost impossible to hear anyone else in your party. If you want to be able to have a conversation, see if there's seating available outside of the main area.“

“Slappy's Chicken Slaps! The chicken is super crunchy and sauce is out-of-this-world good! It's a perfect mix of BBQ and hot sauce. Slappy's Chicken is the definition of a hidden gem and is worth the wait. This establishment is normally lined out the door and down the sidewalk. The sides are all phenomenal, especially the Mac and cheese.

“I've had occasion to eat at Johnny B's since it first opened. All in all it's a great restaurant, the seating is comfortable, the staff is pleasant and efficient, the food is great, and it's very clean. My only negative comments would concern the volume of the music in the background. When you go in for breakfast, or any time really, you don't need the music turned up as loud as it always is. My other negative comment concerns the fact that they are out of tea bags for hot tea quite often. If tea bags don't come when ordered there is a Food Lion right across the parking lot where a box could be purchased. These are minor items overall, and they won't stop us from dining there, but it would be nice to have these issues addressed.“

But today I got a to-go order of a fried chicken salad- with ranch! And I requested extra chicken (I even said I will pay the extra) and of course I get home- my salad box had very little lettuce 🥬 in it- and the lettuce that was in it, was very faint & just not fresh like the other times I’ve gotten this exact salad. Wasn’t crisp- and barely had any “salad” in the to-go container. I think for the price - it should have been at least a little more decently made- and I could have got my extra chicken I requested! 😒“

“Was in Winston until late and looked for a random dim sum restaurant to eat. I got 3 different type of dim sum. Tried the noddle soup because I’ve never seen that type of soup before. It was amazing. Very different type of soup and noddle but it was good. I’m definitely going back. If you haven’t tried this noddle soup dish before. It’s worth a try. Great service too.“

The treatment caused adverse, effects. My Daughters paid her a visit, during, Christmas of 22 and discovered it on the menu. They purchased it. My Mom Loved it and has desired another, since. I’ve lived in Winston for 2+ years, unfortunately, I’ve only known about them for little over a year. They are the most consistent brewery in town, they don’t usually have sours on the menu, but they do offer a Gose, a Ginger Seltzer, blackberry blonde, as well as a house made cocktail menu.

The bartending staff is exceptional! They are knowledgeable about their food and tap offerings and are able to suggest pairings and other combinations you may not have thought of yourself.

10/10 recommend trying small batch at least once, if not 1000 times after that.

Soccer games across the globe are streamed often and usually available on request, along with College FB on saturdays; so the environment is very welcoming for international sports fans throughout the year.

Tuesday is pint night where you get a pint glass per 2 pints drank per person, Wednesday is trivia, Thursday half price pours ($3 16oz craft beers) and my favorite by far is Friday Karaoke!

Also: Met Rick Flair here. It was cool lol. That said, sometimes they can busy if there are conventions in town since they are close to the convention center, but even with a wait they’re always worth it!“

“After seeing the mentions for this little Mexican Spot, I had to try it for myself! The place is pretty clean. The young lady that took my order was very kind & polite. I ordered the beef Birria Tacos & a side of rice & beans! The tacos were cooked to perfection & had lots of meat! The beef was so tender & flavorful! The hot & green sauce were also a hit, but the birria dip was the most flavorful out of any place I’ve tried thus far…most places are pretty watered down but this one was pretty bold! The rice and beans were also good and tasty! You get 4 tacos for $11 so it was definitely worth it! They only take 10-15 minutes to make your order and you’re out the door! They also serve a large variety of imported Mexican beverages and jarred veggies! Go!! You won’t be disappointed! 😊“

“I've been coming to Flower's Bakery for years. The bread is fresh and much less expensive from the grocery. Today, I brought a loaf of Nature's Own SF bread , mini donuts, and a box of snack cakes ($1.50 each). It was less than $5, or about what I would spend for a bread loaf at the grocery. They often have holiday themed items that are hard to find. I saw fruit cake, pumpkin spice donuts, and popcorn balls, to name a few.“
