“Great pizza, great ambiance!“

“Came in for the first time on New Years, had to get some grub for a couple intoxicated friends. Grabbed a slice of cheese myself and it turned out to be the best New York style pizza I’ve had in a long time. Came back tonight to see if it was as good as I remembered and it’s pleasantly better than I remember. Cheese is on point, sauce is well seasoned, thin, crispy, light and airy crust, and every bite is perfect. Came in on a rainy Friday and the place was pretty empty, walked in and out with my gf in 5 minutes with a hot cheese pie. Had to eat it in the car cause I couldn’t stop after the first bite. Definitely gonna be my primary pizza spot for a while. And $21.40 for a large pie ain’t too bad in my book. $3.25 ain’t bad for a single cheese slice neither, my old place would charge $4.50 for some much worse pizza. Great pizza, great price, definitely earned themselves a repeat customer. Btw yall gotta add an option for a whole pie to recommend.“

“I love ordering pizza from here and baking it fresh at home. I enjoy experimenting with the many topping options they offer. You can go old-school pepperoni or choose unique (Thai chicken) and healthier options (zucchini, spinach, artichoke heart, etc). Tuesday $10.99 large special is great! NY-style pizza ("XL-NY," I think) is also a great deal for those who like traditional toppings only.
I usually order online and it's always ready & waiting when I arrive. Occasionally, I order in person and get the staff's opinions and ideas. They are super nice, helpful, and service is very fast. The atmosphere is clean and neat, but the pizza is ALL bake-at-home. No dine-in. They don't sell cooked pizza.“

Always happy to see you, always concerned with the quality of your visit. Possibly the best staff of any restaurant in Wilmington. Highly recommended.“

I picked it up right as they took it out of the oven and made it home in 7 min. The food was in insulated bag. Probably have it baked next time. I was still very happy. Broccoli not soggy one bit, cheese perfect and sun dried tomatoes tasty!! i haven't had a calzone in years and I was very pleased. Maybe keep it in a deep friar a bit longer?“

“Came here on a whim with the my GF mid afternoon. We shared a small greek salad and a medium pizza with feta and artichoke. The salad was plentiful for two people with the contents spilling over. The pizza was a good size with just the right amount of toppings for how thin the crust was. New York fold doable! The crust was bake just right to hold the toppings. It was on the sweeter side and was not embellished with herbs and such. Just a good crust overall.

Service was great granted there were only 6 tops when we arrived.

“What an amazing first experience we had tonight! My wife and I live in Myrtle Beach, but our child lives here. We are staying at their place watching their pets while they are away. This place has been on our to try list for a while now and we finally had the opportunity. What an incredible experience! The food was outstanding! The flavor was on point and the servings were huge! My wife and I each had an amazing pasta dish and split the largest piece of coconut cake we have ever seen. Now, you would think after all that I just wrote that would be the best part of our experience, but it wasn’t! The absolute best part was one of the kindest people we have ever met, Bella! “It was 1230 a m when I ordered on the app and the food was cooked as if it were there first order of the day . You can tell when someone cares about there job weather it's shoveling poop or making pizzas they did it to the best of their ability. There was an area manager on duty who called me, fixed my problem and delivered a fresh hot order for my family's Friday night Pizza. Wicked grateful for Bob in Wilmington, NC :)“

“My delivery order tonight was an hour and a half late and I had to deliver it myself. I had to pick up myself after having waited over an hour for my order. We called multiple times with no answer and there was no other way to refund the order. When I arrived at the store I asked for a refund on the delivery charge since we were now picking up the pizza. There were maybe 7 employees including the manager where running around working. They let us know that about half of the scheduled employees did not show up for their shift. THIS MAN NOT ONLY MADE SURE TO GIVE US OUR REFUND BUT GAVE US A FREE PIZZA. This guy was sweating so much yet he was doing everything possible to still earn those FIVE stars. I am sure they are not getting many of these tonight but all of them deserve a raise. The pizza was delicious and this is the only time we have had any issue with this location!“

“Pizza/Hut on Castle Hayne Rd in Wilmington NC has never let us down. We order regularly for 3 years. They have consistently been accurate, fresh, hot, quality, and prompt, friendly delivery. Way to go Pizza Hut! Thank you for your excellence and restoration in above average customer service and satisfaction! Our delivery driver, who is fairly new to the team (my apologies for the failure to retain your name) was extremely friendly, and apologetic, because he felt he should have been faster at locating our difficult to find business location, that is hard to decipher even to those of us familiar with the property. Not only was it his first exposure to the property on a new job but it was after dark on a foggy rainy night. He was patient, friendly, smiling, and apologetic for something out of his control. “I seemed to have been here at an unusually busy time? Food-wise there are good ingredients being used on the burger and the cook does a good job of preparing BUT they’re missing a good expo to run food and make sure the ticket matches the order. I was missing a sauce and saw the cook running food numerous times to tables. Seems like they need an upgrade at manager. Anyway, I’ve heard poor reviews about the pizza so I tried it myself. This is not an award winning recipe by any means but the slices are huge. Perfect if you need a vehicle to get toppings ingested but I would not recommend plain as it truly is not impressive at all. Decent spot for watching sports at the bar. Seems like a place that caters to local regulars more than passers by. The ginger bartender girl was awesome and handled a lot going on at once. She seemed to be the only glue holding it together in the front of the house. With little competition they’ll make it but it wouldn’t hurt to polish up the operation a bit.“
