“We have ate here multiple times. The food is so fresh with wonderful flavors. The service is excellent. The staff is so friendly, curious and gives wonderful recommendations. They have a wonderful restaurant, we will be returning frequently. We had the vermicelli noodle bowl, crispy noodles and we may have devoured the spring rolls before I got a picture.”

“Just like home, just like family. Came to GI for junk jaunt 3 years ago. We stopped at this cafe, because I like supporting local business's and its fun to meet and talk to the locals. Man... this stop was spot on. Loving folks, owner and staff. PLUS the locals.. we had a ball sitting there visiting with everyone... Solo, I made a trip thru Grand Island at a later date, so made a point to stop in. They remembered me... it had been nearly a year since was there. Guess what... we junk jaunted again this year, stopped in and hugs, caught up on things, like ole home week.. Oh dang, almost forgot ....THE FOOD.... totally perfect....the cook is amazing... and the PIES.... OMG.... out of this world good.... home made with LOVE mixed all over. Of the meals I;ve eaten there.... each one I say is the best, till I have the next one and then its the bestest... MHO: Skip the fast food joints, who don't care who you are... sit down, relax, enjoy the company, eat some wonderful food that is home cooked,made to order..... and actually, easy on the pocket book.... ...Never know who u mite meet, or become friends with while your enjoying a rush free meal.... PS: watch out for the one way streets..... Grand Island is full of them. :-) Just a side note. Carl”

“We 4 bowlers bowled women State Bowling this past weekend. After 6 games Sunday, we had an early supper. Had to wait 20 minutes for a booth. Our waiter was great. Got our breadsticks and salad promptly. Our meals were generous. I had a 6oz.sirloin and feccitinue. Delicious! I barely finished it. The other 3 took leftovers home. I love this Olive Garden. Always a good place for a meal.”

“stopped in tonight like we usually do for wings every Wednesday I didnt even catch the girls name who went over to our table because my 4 year old is a picky eater and we had got McDonald's for her so she can eat there, because when we've got her food from Balz she will not eat anything, she rudely told us we couldn't have outside food and of course I wasnt going to have my 4 year old daughters food thrown away or not have her eat while the 3 of us ate. We surely will not be back and make sure to tell our friends who started going to Balz because of us to go back.”

“This place was so lovely. I Occasionally come to Grand Island from Lincoln for work. The downtown is so lovely. This Chocolate Bar is a great place; plenary if option, including food and drinks. Love all the creative decor. Super nice staff. Absolutely the best in town.”

“We went Friday eve & they were Packed! Didn’t think wld be able to eat & make our movie but Jess was very great at controlling the situation & getting everyone a seat as soon as able. She even went out of her way to keep us happy by getting a drink brght from bar for me while we waited. After seated service was great, fast & food well cooked & delicious! Needless to say, we made our movie on time with full bellies!! Thank u!!”
