The Dome Lounge is seriously one of the raddest spots in Kearney. It’s got three pool tables, darts, TouchTunes, plenty of seating—and every drink is a double. You really can’t beat the prices here…best in town, hands down.

It’s one of those places where you’ll always meet cool people, maybe catch a little people-watching, and just enjoy a solid night out. The regulars give the place so much character—it’s got that “everybody knows everybody” kind of feel without being cliquey.

“This is one of the best places to grab breakfast, lunch or any dessert. I haven’t tried them all, but it’s definitely a goal of mine. The ice cream was at one time UNL Dairy, I’m not sure if it still is, but it is fantastic as well. The butterscotch is the best. I was in there a couple of years ago admiring a tiered chocolate cake. When I went to purchase the cake, the owner told me that she couldn’t sell it to me in good faith because it was old. She gifted me the cake! Not just a discount, the whole cake. I couldn’t believe it. We would have never known it wasn’t fresh baked. It was the best cake we’d ever had! Now it’s our go to place for cake. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes to get lost in a cool store. They have a little of everything for the kitchen.”

“Good morning, Kearney Nebraska! Let me just say that you have a hidden gem of a coffee shop in your just-east-of-center heart! I had to drive a bit to get there but it was worth every quarter mile even if I'd have had to crawl it! What a delightful little oasis in a mostly aggro-industrial area. As I pulled into the drive-through lane, I had to proceed very slowly and very cautiously so as not to knock into anything or knock anything down as I gawked at the beautiful decorations and a zillion tiny details that go into the making of this coffee oasis. A delight for the eyes before you even sip the joe. After my unfortunate experience yesterday morning, I was just hoping for good coffee before we hit the road, wheels pointed west. What I found was a sweet barista who was friendly and chatty, but not too much. When I asked about a flat white, she wasn't 100% sure so I explained that I just wanted two shots with about 4 - 6 oz of half and half. Of course she could make that. Of course she could. Because there's no special knowledge required...just a willing heart. It always makes my blood boil when I hear that a coffee show "can't" (read: won't) make a drink that literally has two ingredients in it. Ingredients that are easily at hand. But I digress. We waited a couple of moments while she made our drinks, a hot chocolate as well. Yes, whip cream, thank you! As we drove away, beginning our journey home, we were buoyed by the deliciousness in our cups. If anything, the flat white was stronger than it had to be but it was so good that I just sipped and enjoyed it.”

“2-9-2022 a very quiet Wednesday afternoon.Just passing through Kearny on my way to Boulder.I drove around town looking for a place to to have a drink. I passed a bunch of places. But for some unknown reason I picked this place. Don’t know why it just looked like my kind of place.What a place! With a really down to earth atmosphere. “This is my favorite place to eat in Kearney. The molcajete is amazing with some of the best pork and shrimp(plus so much more!) in town! I order vegetarian occasionally as well and they have a pretty good selection. Service is wonderful as well!”

Parking: The parking is at either end of the building, There are approximately 4 stalls on the North end of the building, including 1 handicapped accessible stall, and there are several other staĺls across the parking lot, on the South end of the building. People don't watch when they are pulling into the parking lot or when they are backing out of the parking stalls.”

“First time customer in Kearney NE. Usual good JJ food. However it took about 8-9 minutes to get my order. The other JJ locations are much, much faster. Usually order, pay, pickup, all within 1 minute.”

All of my freinds have been there as soon as they let me decide we're we went for dinner. Price seems high but it's good food hot and decent portions I'm normally a bottomless pit but even I can hardly finish a entire serving of genral chiken unless I hadn't ate that day.”

“Eileen's makes absolutely the most delicious cookies I personally have ever eaten! Whether it's one of their cookies in 3 inch size which are packaged, the 4 inch which is individual or their 16 inch cookie that is decorated the flavors are spot-on! Soft, oh, so soft! Great texture as well. Overall good value for a good cookie in my opinion. The only thing that annoys me personally is that when I buy more then one 4 inch cookies I also get 2 that have frosting on them, when my purchases are bagged up, they have all been stuffed into a little bag. This causes my frosting to get squished a little makes it messier to get cookies out of the bag. While I appreciate a smaller bag, I just wish that a slightly bigger bag is used. Otherwise I have no issues with Eileen's.

Parking: The archway mall parking lot sees a lot of traffic and it's an awkward parking lot to drive in, so caution is recommended because of the amount of traffic in this area.

Kid-friendliness: Staff is very patient and friendly to the customers, which is why I say it's kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's two places in this mall that have designated handicapped parking ares. Both locations of the spots are located near the entrance of Eileen's location. There is a bit of walking but it's doable.”

“When I came to Jimmy John’s to order a meal, Stacy asked for my phone number, which I have used for rewards nearly 10 times, she told me that I was not in the system. She took the time to help me get a rewards account and then took the time to listen to my grandkids order their sandwiches. The sandwiches were made exactly the way we ordered them.

“This place came as a recommendation from Axe Holes. I ordered the chicken fajita salad, and my daughter had the beef fajita. We also ordered the seafood rolls appetizer. Once seated, the waiter asked about drinks, and another staff member brought a HUGE bowl of chips with two small bowls of salsa. The appetizer was greasy and messy. We were not given small plates for this and dripped on our hands and table. I used my coffee plate as a plate. For comment only and not a negative sentiment: The fajita beef was actual beef and not steak. The tortillas were small and thin. The refried beans were very pale (not pinto) but tasty, according to my daughter. We did have trouble before ordering in finding out if the frijoles were made using pork fat. After three attempts and using Google translate to read it to our waiter, he found out the answer for us. The fajita salad was very flavorful, but the salad was lacking (maybe 1 cup of salad if I am being generous), 1/3 cup peppers/onion, and 3 oz of chicken). The taco shell remained crisp to the end and was well shaped. The dressing was delicious. The waiter was attentive to our drinks, but not the clearing of the table or the needed plates and additional napkins due to said lack of plates. There was a small language barrier, however, he did his best to answer our questions.”

Every time I go through the drive thru they give me sweet tea when I specifically ask for regular and very seldom do they get the toppings correct.
