“Charred at Southport is excellent. They have exceptional burgers and sides, and it's always fresh. It's so great to have this gem in an area surrounded by mostly only fast food restaurants.
Parking is abundant, service is prompt and friendly, and it's clean.

“Emmets is a local drinking hole to many so the conversations are lively and the drinks are strong. Emma and Rob are two of the best bartenders in the game. They’re fast and courteous with all patrons. Comedy shows happen at 7PM Sunday and Tuesday in the side room if you need a laugh. I recommend this spot.“

“My experience at the casual pint was all about beer. Sorry I can't comment on the food.

For beers on tap I was able to find all the info I needed to make my decisions. I tried three darker beers. All of their selections were good. I did get help from a barkeep on a pumpkin ale. He was spot on. One of the best. It made me feel like they select their tap beer on quality.

Besides the tap beer they have a ridiculous amount of beer cans and bottles either for take away or in house consumption.

Excellent experience on a Friday afternoon. It made me wonder where other casual pints exist. I'm hoping one comes to South KC.“

The cider itself was diverse in flavor and incredibly well-done; nothing was overly saccharine nor putrid. “I usually only go here for sand volleyball on Sundays which is a pretty fun time. The drinks are good, and the service is also pretty good, a sever will usually come to see if any needs drink during games. They have a summer and fall league for volleyball.“
