“Great place to eat with great people. Been in multiple times and I’ve never had a bad experience the manager Monica is a true professional and a sweetheart. She goes above and beyond at her restaurant to make sure everyone is having a great experience and the food is perfect. The only complaint I have is that my favorite dessert is gone which was the skillet cookie.“

“We had a party of two to celebrate a job offer, and the service was outstanding. I had made a special request for a congratulations table setting, and I was so appreciative of their efforts. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We each did the Prix Fixe menu, trying an array of the items. We also added wine pairings and a few cocktails (Jameson & the Giant Peach was fabulous).Pictured are the Angus hanging tender, yuzu creme brulee, and chocolate cheesecake. It's true - they taste even better than they look. I highly recommend the Caesar salad as an option on the Prix Fixe too. We are excited to return for our special occasions.“

“Great place to reserve for a large group or party! Saro kindly hosted my graduation party and it was the most wonderful experience. The layout is open in such a way that I did not feel like anyone was excluded during the party because we could always have eyes on everyone there. The turnout was quick throughout the entire night for drinks and we never ran out of yummy easily snackable plates. As an added bonus, everything on their menu is gluten free so it was very inclusive to our GF friends & family. “Get Real Sandwiches is one of my favorite spots in Omaha! They do a classic sandwich with modern flavors and a foolproof delivery that makes for consistently delicious sammies! I love the atmosphere and aesthetic of their space in Blackstone and their Brunch menu is fantastic! Cannot recommend highly enough.Vegetarian options: Sweet Potato Sandwich is incredible. Mushroom Toast is great option. There is a great salad selection as well.“

“WE LIVED FOR THIS PLACE!! The DJ, I cannot believe how superb his music choice was. My group was 60s to 21 and we all danced for hours. Melanie and Amber were fantastic waitresses. The drinks were GREAT prices and everyone was so friendly. The bartenders were so aware of the bar and assisting people the whole night. We ordered nachos and so tasty! We left and tried other places and STILL came back here. I travel a lot and would have to say this was hands down my favorite spot to dance and drink!“

“Barroco is the most unassuming, amazing little spot I had no idea existed! It's located in the corner of a strip mall, but once you enter, you are completely transported to another place! It is dimly lit with candles, yet warm and welcoming. The service was friendly, and the espresso martini was amazing! “Very cool ambience and decoration. The location on the basement of the hotel gives the appearance of an actual speakeasy but there is easy access to the street. Music was a bit too loud for a speakeasy ambience. Cocktails were not consistent, due mainly to bartenders. There was one that knew what they were doing and the other not so much. I guess just luck if you get the right person. Food options not that extensive here. The steak bites were great though. Super tender and flavorful. Overall, good for a stop and definitely should be check out.“

“Well, I am from out of town, SE MN to be exact. I was recommended to come her from a local. Well, I arrived and Taylor was there to great me. She asked what I would like and I said and Olde Fashioned, she replied, what bourbon, I said dealer's choice. She chose well. The price/size of the beverage was just about perfect. “I went for lunch on a Friday with a colleague from work. Our service was wonderful, our waitress was a dear! The atmosphere was wonderful kind of a casual New Orleans/ French vibe but two things I think its needs (and these are kind of nitpicky): 1) for being New Orleans inspired the only thing that suggested that was the menu (and the name) some more ambiance would be nice and 2) the table was small. We sat at a table for two but between the drinks, appetizer plates, main course plates and then the bottles of hot sauce and other detritus there was no room on the table to actually comfortably eat!The food was wonderful but the reason I gave it a three is that there weren't a lot of options for non-red meat or non-pork eaters. Even the salads had bacon or pork sausage. I ended up getting a shrimp roll - which was wonderful but other than the spinach dip appetizer was basically the only thing I could order with out being obnoxious and asking for half the ingredients to be removed from a dish (which I have asked for before but I don't like being 'that' person.)Dietary restrictions: Be careful not a lot of options“

Came here for a night out for drinks on a saturday night with some family and friends! they had great drink options from beer to wine to cocktails! i had some of their espresso martinis and they were so yummy!! they bartender made the perfect blend of espresso and vodka, definitely was my favorite drink of the night :) we had great servers, they were super attentive and quick for refills! will be coming back :)“

“This place is 350 feet from my house, and it's taken over a year for me to experience. Shame on me! This place is great.Located in the basement of a former residential hotel-turned-apartments, this place is actually a re-creation of the original Red Lion, a jazz club located in the same place.The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, the staff warm and knowledgeable, without the least bit of pretense, which is increasingly rare in Blackstone. Framed photos of famous jazz musicians line the walls, as do high-backed, semi- circular booths, reminiscent of old- school Hollywood haunts. The prices are reasonable, too. You must experience this. It is truly unique.“

“Great little downstairs bar in the Old Market area. No food service, but a great drink selection and service was always super fast and friendly. Restrooms were well-lit and clean. You can see the stage from pretty much every part of the bar and the sound was great! Friendly, welcoming crowd there, and a wide age-range.I'd definitely go back!“

“Sometimes you don't want a pizza with goat cheese and a balsamic drizzle, sometimes you just want good old fashioned bar food, the clubhouse is the place to go when you want that bar food. My wife and I had a nice dinner there last week, and I wanted to leave them a good review. This is a total neighborhood bar, nothing fancy, just good food and good people, the staff is very friendly. They have a standard menu with typical bar fare, fries, rings, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They also generally have a special on the board, the night we went they had a Wisconsin bacon cheddar burger, which was great. We also had a basket of onion rings and a bowl of chili. The rings were nice, very crispy and tasty. The chili was definitely homemade and was perfect for a cold night, highly recommended. “We love Josephine's Cozy Corner! It's always chill here and the service is great. Make sure you try out a Scooby Doo shot while you're here as it's the best! There is a pool table and it's a really cozy spot for couples or small groups. A hidden gem in Omaha!“

Burger had all the potential of being one of the top in Omaha, but the patty itself didn't have the seasoned flavor, to me the meat didn't taste fresh. Wings were above average. Atmosphere was interesting, some say dive bar but it is much nicer inside. CASH ONLY Lots of history with celebrity visits, an Omaha favorite.“

“I have only been here twice, but both times I have loved the experience! The bartender really knows their stuff, and is good at balancing attending to patrons, memorizing orders to mix, and making conversation if you are sitting at the bar. Every drink I have seen comes out beautifully and each one I've tasted even more so. I have enjoyed trying the funky seasonal creations, and want to keep coming back for each new menu. I have not tried the NA drinks, but really appreciate that they are an option!!Drinks aside, I LOVE the small atmosphere, the quirky design of the interior, and whoever plays DJ deserves a raise. Definite go-to place if you’re in need of some comfort food. Only critique I’d say was that they should try and opt for more premium metallic chopsticks instead of providing wooden disposable ones. This would really lift the restaurant’s already high quality and service to another level.“

The only times I don't like being here is right before showtimes at the Orpheum (check current shows to avoid the rush).They're not lacking for customers, and they have always, in my experience, delivered quality food and drinks. Beyond the beauty, these servers went above and beyond. We didn't book the entire place since it was only a group of nine but they created a baby-specific playlist and changed the upper lights to pink. The drinks were fun--LED light ice cubes and woman-shaped glasses. Affogato was spot on! The well-priced charcuteries ($30) contained a good selection, fully covering large boards. It's a large, yet intimate, creative space. They had a large calendar of activities too. Talking to an owner, they also offer to rent out the space and will curate an activity (escape room, bingo, etc...) for your event; milestone birthdays, company/team outing, showers, etc... There's a little library nook with a cool vintage couch. However, the lighting was so dark that it was hard to appreciate the design of it all. Never heard of it before so not sure if they're common or a rare find, but how cute! We didn't know what to expect, but this exceeded it.The cocktails were all pretty good and well-crafted, especially the mezcal-based one with thyme oil. Service was that middle distance where they mainly leave you alone but they're very helpful, friendly, and personal when they do engage. Music was fantastic. Exactly the right volume, with beats that made you feel alive and happy at an almost subconscious level. I'd be interested in stopping back in for some off the menu cocktails and see how those go. This could well be an under the radar 5-star lounge.“

“What a fun place to go for a chill weekend night out! There is a good amount of seating at this outdoor area. There is some seating under a large pergola and more tables with umbrellas. These are attached to a grassy area with some lawn games. Overall just a fun environment. There is a small bar that serves some cocktails along with high noons and beers. The pretty cocktails were refreshing and delicious. The lines for drinks can be lengthy on a busy night but it moves fairly quickly. This would be a great spot to get together with friends or family earlier in the night. It's a fun spot to sit outdoors and sip on some drinks. We went on a night where they were doing salsa lessons which was a blast!“

“The parking downtown is horrible but it is worth it. The brunch drink menu is stellar and the food is awesome. The best biscuits and gravy I have ever had, in fact they need to change the menu to read best B&G ever.The food was lightning fast to come out and the place was packed. Their delightful dishes, GE Breakfast Pie with a biscuit & gravy side, and a Garden Omelette, sourdough (MIA but not missed), and dressed greens (wonderfully sweet surprise). Both dishes showcased stellar flavors and proved GENEROUS in portions, enough to take some home (not sure we could share one plate). “I cannot believe the huge portion sizes that they serve here. The gyro took up the entire plate. The gyro meat was cooked perfectly. It was crispy but not burnt, and the amount of toppings was perfect. The french fries were the large steak fries and they were hot, crispy and fresh. My friend go the chicken gyro and the Greek potatoes and they were full of wonderful flavor. The server was very nice and very attentive to our needs. I recommend getting there for lunch early, the dining room filled up pretty quickly.“
