Restaurantji's guide to La Vista's top Mexican dining experiences.
“They often don't get your order completely right, but their food is way better than most "mexican" places around here. Plus they're always open. Love them!Vegetarian options: I've often asked for either beans or cheese instead of chicken or beef but they heard me wrong and gave me meat“
“Amigos restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its exceptional combination burrito and mouthwatering hard shell tacos. What sets Amigos apart is the freshness of their ingredients. The vegetables are crisp, the meat is succulent, and the sauces are flavorful. The attention to detail in crafting each dish is evident.“
“Taco Bell is my new favorite restaurant! I had about 15 tacos, 5 burritos, and 15 quesadillas. I would definitely recommend to come and eat here this might be the best food I have ever had. Which is crazy because of how obese I am and how much food I have ate in the past. When I took my first bites into the food I became filled with glee.“
“Loved all the food. Our first waitress was either super busy or did not pay attention. Another young man seen us looking lost and helped us. He was amazing. I don't want to butcher his name but started with a J. Great place will be returning for another sushi boat.“
“Oh my days! Seriously get down to Copal. I moved here 2 years ago and haven't eaten Mexican food since because I was worried it wouldn't be the same. Let me tell you, I've missed out for two years! Food is exceptional! FRESH! TASTE! SERVICE! HOSPITALITY!The Chef sent out a free Taco made in their hometown style! If your craving the authentic taste of Mexican food, get yourself to Copal !“
“A very nice find. My buddy suggested it for lunch today. Not hard to find great parking across the street. The lady that works there was great at explaining a kinda difficult menu. Our lunch was very good. The food was hot when served. The beans and rice was very good. Place was very clean, when someone got it they are on top of cleaning it up. The bar looked really nice as well. Definitely will be back.Parking: Easy to find parking nice sized lot.“
“This place was cool. The food was good. The atmosphere was Melo, too. I ordered ceviche, and it was okay, but I have had better, but I guess everyone makes it different. Frozen margaritas were tasty, too. Surprisingly, this was my first time going, and I will definitely go again.“
“This place is an old neighborhood house turned Mexican restaurant.Space is tight - maybe six tables - which is fine. Many diners ordered their food for pickup or to go.My tacos were well portioned and filling, while the hot sauce provided a good kick.“
“I think it’s odd that you only get rice and beans with your meal if you come in for lunch. That should definitely be a dinner option being as though a lot of other places do that. I had to pay $3 for a side of rice and another $3 for a side of beans. Water should also be free.“
“Okay first every food item is delicious here. Chips and salsa perfection. The staff is friendly and quick to take care of you. They give you enough time to decide what you want but then never leave you searching for help if you need it. My drink was never empty...which is such a plus for me. They have great specials for lunch and dinner, as well as margaritas that are also amazing. It's pretty a casual setting here so you could visit for anything. Date, business lunch, birthday celebration, all of that would work here.“
