Runza makes Bierock sandwiches, which are bread pockets filled with seasoned ground beef, cabbage, and options like cheese. Runza also makes excellent hamburgers, fries, onion rings (or combinations called "frings"). Chicken strips and grilled chicken sandwiches are also on the menu. On Tuesdays in January and February, they run promotions for meal specials called Temperature Tuesdays. They unfortunately serve Pepsi instead of Coke products.
I like the Runza restaurants and visit them frequently. Last night we visited the Greta location and were disappointed in the condition of the inside-lobby and dining room. The trash cans were full and over-flowing. Probably hadn’t been emptied all day. Countertops were dirty and needed to be wiped off. Ketchup container was dirty. Only one container had napkins.
