“First time that my family and I have been to Let it fly.

The pork sandwich was recommended by A, good family friend, and that’s what I ordered.
It was absolutely delicious. Very tasteful and I loved the coleslaw. It added a perfect touch.
The restaurant is clean, along with the bathrooms, and loved the atmosphere with all of the TV.
We were greeted right we walked in the door with a smile.
Our waitress, Brittany, was right on point.
She asked us right away what we would like to drink.
She was quick, patient, and efficient!
We had a wonderful experience.
We will definitely return“

As with any restaurant sometimes you’ll get something that isn’t quite right and they always seem to take care of their customers 5/5 stars! I was impressed by the positivity that Haley behind the bar was able to maintain she was able to handle a busy rush all by herself as if she was immune to pressure and with a smile and kindness she rocked everyones night. her character speaks volumes,work ethic is prestigious, and is knowledgeable beyond her years. “My experience at the casual pint was all about beer. Sorry I can't comment on the food.

For beers on tap I was able to find all the info I needed to make my decisions. I tried three darker beers. All of their selections were good. I did get help from a barkeep on a pumpkin ale. He was spot on. One of the best. It made me feel like they select their tap beer on quality.

Besides the tap beer they have a ridiculous amount of beer cans and bottles either for take away or in house consumption.

Excellent experience on a Friday afternoon. It made me wonder where other casual pints exist. I'm hoping one comes to South KC.“

The atmosphere and pricing seem fine, but the bartender used cranberry juice in my tequila sunrise instead of grenadine, so my drink was way funky..I probably won’t make it a point to come back.“

“Emmets is a local drinking hole to many so the conversations are lively and the drinks are strong. Emma and Rob are two of the best bartenders in the game. They’re fast and courteous with all patrons. Comedy shows happen at 7PM Sunday and Tuesday in the side room if you need a laugh. I recommend this spot.“

“What a fantastic little joint! Dare I say iconic to the Benson area! There is a wide variety of both beers and spirits. The decor is this marriage of old school and new school with a smattering of rock & roll! The owner is one of the best humans on the planet. Ask him about going to his cousins 16th birthday party 100 years ago and he’ll have quite the story for ya!“

“Top notch cider and space! The space is large and comfortable, and has a charming mid-century modern motif. The cider itself was diverse in flavor and incredibly well-done; nothing was overly saccharine nor putrid. The staff were all incredibly helpful and warm, and recommended other local spots for us to try.

Weather interfered w ice storm on Fri 13th, so Sat night was super packed & i wasn't able to even get in....no biggie, went to Roxxy n had a blast! Fast forward to my bff coming out from NY n here for Christmas n we decided to go out on 12/28 n try again & yay we were able to finally get in! The place is so elegant n beautiful & has a very classy comfortable feeling to it - I knew I would 💜 it! At the bar talking about my quest n fail of trying to come here for my bday a few weeks ago, sitting next to me was the bar manager Carmen - she said she'd buy me a shot n I was like "oh cool", I never saw it so thought she was just being nice n a totally forgot n I thought 'its ok, no biggie"....then I go to pay my bill & turns out she picked up my 1st round of drinks - so extremely super sweet of her & I appreciated that n her so much. “What?? No non-German beer?!? Ridiculous.. just kidding it rocks and should only have German beer. Great selection and sizes - and the pricing is REALLY cheap for the amount of beer you're getting compared to other places that charge an arm, leg, and kidney for beer.“
