“My fiancé made reservations for my birthday! It was super special! We sat at the bar until our table was ready! The bartender was awesome! Super knowledgeable and it was apparent she loved her job! When we were seated at our table, we were seated at the Brother’s table room. Each room has a different theme. The setting was very intimate and romantic. I ordered the Filet Sebastian and Jeremy ordered the New York Pepper Strip. The meals were AMAZING! The adult drinks were yummy and for dessert, we ordered the flamming baked Alaska! Everything was perfect and our waitress was super friendly! It was the best Birthday dinner I ever had! I would recommend this restaurant a million times over! You will not be disappointed! Thank you to all of the staff that made my birthday dinner special!“

“I had a ribeye that was kind of gristly. I've eaten there before this review, and the steaks were much better. Hope this is a one-time thing because I like eating here. Thus, the reason for 4 stars. It's usually a 5 star for me.
The rest of the food was really good. The wait staff was superb. The restrooms and restaurant were clean.“

“Old school steak house. Both the ribeye and prime rib were very good. Not quite the quality of Mahogany, but very good and more reasonably priced. Server, Meghan, was excellent. Friendly and attentive. Will absolutely be back. Really liked the fire pit in the bar area.“

“We always get the spicy shrimp as the appetizer. It is awesome! The food was great (& we got there around 5), but the service was not great. We were not done with the appetizer before the salad came. We were still eating the appetizer when the entree came. I asked what they consider medium on doneness on a steak. We were told : "warm pink center". I cut into my steak & it was bloody. I sent it back for more cooking. That was taking longer than expected, so I ate the salad. ( strawberry salad is awesome!) When the steak was brought back, I just took it home.
I had ordered soda for my drink, hubby had flavored lemonade. I still had a lot left in my glass & the waitress brought me another glass of soda. Hubby ran out of lemonade & waitress was not coming around. I told him he could have some of my soda. He put his straw in my new glass of soda & then the waitress shows up with another glass of soda & a lemonade. We never drank any of the 2nd & 3rd soda. Had the waitress asked if I wanted another soda, I would have declined the offer.

“The environment was great. It wasn’t super loud. Our waitress Shelby was very friendly and checked on us just the right amount of times. They did mess up my fillet which was supposed to be medium, but it came well done. David came by to apologize and reassuring us that they were fixing the mistake. We had told him that it was our five year anniversary And thought we would go there for the first time. The customer service I felt was exceptional. They even gave us a card with signatures for our five year anniversary, which was very touching that they were thoughtful enough to do that. I would highly highly recommend. Such a great experience from start to finish. Now I cannot wait to taste the desserts that we took to go.“

“I did takeout tonight. They were extremely busy, proms are tonight. I was quoted a time and I checked on my order 35-40 minutes after my promised time, order would be be ready within 5-10 minutes. No biggie, had a great time talking with customers waiting for tables so time was going by fast. The manager in the take out area was AMAZING and so sweet and kind, as were the rest of the staff in that area. I didn’t catch her name, but you ROCK! And thank you for my meal.“

“We were visiting Omaha on vacation in our attempt to see all 50 states. Since we were going to be here over Mother’s Day, we made lunch reservations at Gorat’s. I was so excited for a famous Gorat steak. However when we arrived we found it was actually a (lovely) buffet for the holiday, not the traditional menu. Well, let’s just say that the manager that day was the most INCREDIBLE, kindest, most thoughtful manager of a restaurant I’ve ever met. She went way out of her way to make sure I had the full Gorat experience. Our server was also equally wonderful. I don’t know if we will ever get a chance to come to Omaha again, but if we do, Gorat’s will be our first stop. Also, the lasagna they had on the buffet was soooooo good. Second only to my brisket lasagna. If you want a great dining experience, Gorat’s is the place to go.“

“Party of 9 We were there 2hrs and the 1st 45 min we were offered 3 times Cutts of meat. And a server must have had a bad day to toss the silverware and cutlery on top the wine book when 1 in our group asked Her for new cutlery because where she was sitting the cutlery was resting in spilled water. It's a steak place with fast food fries 🍟 instead of STEAK FRIES. Beautiful place not sure if I want to revisit again. Service was better last year on this date.“
