“An evening out with friends Saturday. We ventured and found Hallam Steakhouse, we did not call ahead to reserve a table, however, a short wait with drinks at the bar and very friendly and funny bartender! The wait for a table was minimal, less than 20 minutes, and a couple of hostess announced celebrations that included the whole steakhouse crowd to join in singing Happy Birthday and a round of applause for another couple celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary! The interactive friendly staff was fun and kept the mood light amongst all patrons! Classic cheese balls appetizer with ranch and marinara! 12 and 16 oz Ribeye Steaks with mushrooms, chicken fried steak and grilled chicken with bacon were out table choices! Including a trip to the salad bar with potato salad, pea salad, pickled beets, and all the salad toppings! The GOOD HOMEMADE ranch! Our waitress team kept our drinks full and brought ice water promptly, checking on our table often with a smile! The staff took the time to listen and we could tell the waitresses, bartended and hostess/manager enjoy their work and wanted to be there! We will be back for another adventure! Thank you Hallam Steakhouse for a small town welcoming dinner and drinks evening with friends!“

“We went in for lunch and had a wonderful Verde burrito meal with chips, salsa, bean dip and a margarita. The beans in the meal seemed a little runny but I chalk that up to personal preference. Service was perfect. Attentive but not intrusive. We'll be back.“

“We really upped our cocktail skills during The 'Rona and now Pour is one of the few places in Lincoln that makes a better one. Add to that the two dozen taps of great beer that could be from anywhere in the world, and this southeast Lincoln bar is one of the best in town.Parking: You can use the space out front shared with other businesses, but the regulars use the larger back lot and come in the back door.Wheelchair accessibility: This is a ground-level business with ADA curbs and doors.“
“Stumbled in from out of town and what a treat. Awesome staff; incredible drinks (highly recommend trying their fall specific menu) and just happened to have some live music which is always a plus. The man on the mike played some cover folk and rock songs and it made for a great night.“

“We went for a date night dinner and enjoyed our experience. We ordered the pork ribeye, the scallops, an appetizer and a few drinks. All of the food was perfectly cooked and the flavors were delightful. Our server was attentive and the food was served promptly. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for a nice business-casual dinner. We will be back.“

“First time trying this place. I was impressed with the atmosphere. I am simple & don't appreciate loud music blaring. This place was quiet & seating was not crowded to where you're elbow to elbow with your table neighbor. Our server was very new & did a good job with this being her first job of this nature. *Kudos's Santanna. The portion size to be honest, was surprisingly nice. The menu is not over bearing with decent choices. The cost for a family of four with a "dad beer" & soft drinks didn't break the bank. I would go into detail of our food choices but this would be super long and boring. I will mention their bread pudding is delicious. I recommend trying it and getting an order to go as well. Yummy!. I will be going back & trying other menu items!!“

“Really enjoyed my time here. The food was great and the service was excellent as well. We arrived around 915pm without realizing they closed at 930pm. Everyone was so polite. They didn't try to rush us or push us out considering they were already closed. Only reason I rated them a 4/5 is because the margarita was a little too thick and on the syrupy side. I will definitely be back“
“One of Lincolns great neighborhood bars. Located just off S. 33rd and Stockwell St. This small bar is generally always half full. It’s dark inside so let your eyes adjust to its sultry ambience. The drinks are great and always lean towards the slightly stiff side. Service is great. They have an attached liquor store that can be convenient if the situation is ripe for more drinks at home.“
“This bar is such a nice laid back, close to home place which we enjoy going to. The staff is friendly and always remembers us. We run into regular friends and karaoke singers on friday nights, which is always a great and fun time. Rebecca that runs Karaoke Kraze has been a wonderful friend and have loved going to her shows for many years now.“

“El Portero is a wonderful option for south central Lincoln. Located in the Williamsburg neighborhood they offer authentic Mexican cuisine at fair prices with a great taste. My suggestion pass on the normal margarita and go with the higher priced Blue Agave, its to die for. Happy eating.Kid-friendliness: I saw lots of families last time. Kids portions available.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access here folks“
