“I found myself in Lincoln Nebraska at the end of a long day recently. I was parked on the side of the street and looked around to see where I could eat before a 3 hour drive to my next destination when I saw Honest Abe's burgers just across the street from where I was parked. Of COURSE I had to go try it and I was not disappointed. My burger and fries were fresh and delicious and the ladies working there were friendly. The signs, artwork, and general decor were fun - especially to me!“

“I had ordered a three scoop custard in a cup at the beginning and said I'd pick up before I leave. I went to get it after I had finished my food only to realize she never out on the ticket. Then I ordered and paid for one and waited over 10 minutes for it. She said they were backed up. She could have done it herself right aqay.“

“This place is known for their salads. My daughter-in-law ordered the Double Berry Chicken variety and was pleased. My son went with a classic the Single Don.

Their other famous offering is the Double Don which is a favorite burger of my husband's. I got the Frenchee kids meal, gotta get a Large side of pickles to accompany.

Kids love their chicken and mini burgers. Plus some of the best fries and rings ever. Was given lots of yummy take-home ranch for our leftovers!

“I like eating food at Runza, but order accuracy needs some work. In the last 4 trips, the order was wrong. But I check now before leaving. The store decor is not very comfortable. The seating leaves a lot to be desired. But as I started with, I do love their food, and they do a really good job of making it with consistency.“

“The best onion rings in Nebraska. The double cheeseburgers are as close to home made as there is. And the runzas for the cost of the daily temperature in the winter, and the $1 chocolate and vanilla twist cones in the summer are local favorites for the last twenty years.“

“Food isn't gonna knock your socks off, but everyone can probably find something they like on a big menu. The wings are decent. I would ask them to cook them a little longer. Drink selection is pretty good and there's enough tables that you can usually find a seat.

“Let me start off by saying this is the second time that I brought my fiance here and we brought her boys for their first time all the way from Texas. Now the boys weren't too keen on the sandwich but they do like the fries and the ice cream and let me say that the people working here were so nice and gave them such big ice cream cones. I have to say they were very polite and nice and I definitely like how cleanly and tidy the place was and how fast the service was and how they treat you is above any other. I definitely recommend coming here.

“We went here for dinner. The host was very friendly when walking in and bringing us to our table. Our server was nice, but seemed like she did not want to be there. We did ask if the broccoli and beans had butter in it, since I'm dairy free. She told us no. The beans came out coated in butter. She did say she didn't know they would have butter (honest mistake), and said she could bring out more broccoli. I asked her if she was sure the broccoli was butter free, and she said yes. While she grabbed the second side of broccoli, we noticed the pool of butter under the steamed broccoli. When she returned, I apologized and said I was pretty sure the broccoli had butter in it. So she said she would check. She came back later and apologized, not realizing the broccoli was coated in butter. They did offer us another side, but at that point we had finished our main meals and did not want to wait longer. The manager did come out and apologized. He was very kind and offered another side, but we declined. They discounted our ticket, which was very kind of them. The salmon was very tasty, so it all worked out ok anyways. We may return someday, but our experiences with both Applebee's in Lincoln have not been the greatest. With all that being said though, the staff have been overall nice.“

“The ocean is still Dairy Queen. But our order wasn’t correct. We didn’t go back through the drive through because the line was so long. We ordered a PB parfait with chocolate ice cream and got vanilla“

“Jermaine! Hands down the best server I have ever had at a breakfast joint. We were waiting to be seated, no one in sight. He walked in to start his shift, literally walked in the door, and sat us down and took our drink order. He had so much energy and was quick to get us what we wanted. He took care of all of his customers the same way, with a smile and fun energy. Jermaine made my day thank you!!!“

“It seems the last couple of times visiting this location has been a little bit of a struggle. Food was wonderful, but the service was lagging. They were out of sour cream for taco night, no lemons or oranges (for the beer) . The waitress seemed like she was the only one waiting tables. She was nice and apologetic but I heard her say sorry to slot of other tables as well. They forgot our two orders of fries, and when she finally brought my wifes fries , she was 3 bites away of being done with her sandwich. I didn't care for the sign outside that said .. a 4% charge for credit cards, we prefer cash.“
