“Absolutely delicious meal and wonderful experience. We made an 8pm reservation and were seated by 7:55. We were here celebrating our anniversary, and could not have chosen a better spot. Matthew, our server, was extremely knowledgeable about the food and drinks menu and provided us with AMAZING service. Raspberry margarita was phenomenal, hot and dirty martini was perfectly made. We started with the bacon wrapped scallops, which were divine. Both of our steaks were perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. The daily vegetables were fresh, and the potatoes delicious. We opted to get the mac and cheese with lobster, which was delicious, and the asparagus with hollandaise, which was awesome as well. All in all, for 2 of us, we spent under $250 before gratuity. Although expensive for 2 people, this was expected and well worth the price for the food & experience. Most certainly will be back for another occasion!Parking: Plenty of options! Street parking is risky, but usually available. However, they provide valet services so no need to worry!“
“If I had one day to live, I’d make sure it included their tacos. I lived in NH and went here religiously every single Friday for the Al Pastor tacos. We moved to another state, but I still dream of them. We haven’t been able to find Mexican food that even holds a candle to el rincon. You can tell they take great pride in every single dish. Buffalo chicken sandwich $6. Their onion rings are very good. $4 and change for a small. And they have a full line of hard ice cream plus soft serve. We've never had anything bad their. They have ample outdoor seating away from the road and a nice flower garden with bird houses. The in-laws wanted fried clams and fried scallops so we called in for take out. 2 clam rolls, a scallop roll and an onion rings, Greek salad with chicken and of course a coffee frappe. All the food was good as expected hand cut hand battered onion rings portions were just right coleslaw is moms favorite the Greek salad was full of veggies and a good portion of chicken a little light on the feta. “Food was amazing! A lot of times boneless ribs are dry and overcooked, but these were just right, and the chicken fingers and pork fried rice were sooo good. Restaurant could use some updates as it's been the same inside for over a decade at least, but it's clean and family friendly. We moved to TN and Chinese food is horrible in the south. It was so nice to have some really good food while up here.“

“Lived in Auburn for over 20 years; the Auburn Tavern was always good. Went back last night for the first time in several years during our visit from our home in Florida. Haven't had a more pleasant dining experience in a long time. Whom ever is running it now is doing a great job. The single Prime Rib my wife and I shared was more then enough for both of us and Really Rare, as requested. Never had any wait for any request. Topped off with an excellent desert selection. Best of all, really good food choices come at very reasonable prices. Wish we had an Auburn Tavern near us in Daytona, Florida. R & P Moore“
