“Drove 50 minutes to meet friends we haven’t seen in a while, only to be told upon being seated we had only 90 minutes. All through meal an underlying sense of being rushed. No offer of dessert or dessert menu, just told someone was waiting for our table. Minutes later waiter started clearing glasses, silverware off table in front of us. “The best general gau and white rice I ever had. And I've had a lot of Chinese food. I've tried every one in the Windham. To Derry area. Also grew up in Boston and have traveled up and down the east coast and this place holds up very well.“

“It is a great little diamond in the rough. It is a walk up counter service with seating area. I had the fresh fish sandwich and coke slaw. The fish was prepared in house. It was very fresh and good. It is a huge piece for $15. I thought it was a little pricey but worth it. The coke slaw was the sweeter type which I prefer. My friend got the chicken nuggets which were also house made and very juicy.

“Holy cow y’all! I finally found flavor and spice in this flippin’ state!!! It has everything a Texan looks for:

1-It’s concealed within a convenience store
2-The store is located on the dodgy side of town
3-The staff “speaks enough English”

For real though, such great staff and the food truly is amazing. I hope the “white people” taste buds allow this small business to flourish. Every other restaurant in this state serves the same tired, deep fried, under seasoned menu.

“My girlfriend and I had an amazing dinner last evening at Hanover Street Chophouse. I have been wanting to come here for a very long time but just never made it. I am very pleased to say it did not disappoint in any way from the time that we arrived until we departed. The valet service, our hostess and Matt our server were all truly amazing. The food from appetizers to desserts was unbelievable! The portions are very generous and our steaks and rest of our meal was cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef! “Just a quick note from someone who never writes reviews. Sitting at The Beach Plum with my three kiddos and so impressed and grateful for the wonderful service we’ve received here. We had a tiny issue with one meal which was immediately acknowledged and fixed tenfold. Two members of the team checked on us several times after to make sure we were doing okay and then sent us home with an extra meal for later on the house. My kids learned a great lesson on wonderful and kind customer service and The Beach Plum will continue to be a favorite spot for us! Thank you!!“

“What used to be a run-of-the-mill pizza hut, is now a great family-owned spot with hand-tossed, Italian style pizza, FRESH seafood, and plenty of offerings for hot and cold subs, salads, and sides. In addition to the great menu, there is a full bar offering some good beer options, as well as cocktails. Royal has become one of our go-to places when we want good food and drink!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options include veggie pizzas (build to suit!), salads, and many of the sides/appetizers are vegetarian (fries, onion rings, cheesey garlic bread, cheddar broccoli bites, fried mushrooms).

Dietary restrictions: Royal offers options for gluten-free pizza, vegetarian options, and "diet pizza" which is served on syrian bread.

Parking: Plenty of free off-street parking

Kid-friendliness: Royal has a great kids menu, including options like hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pizza and burgers (chocolate milk and assorted juices are available as well). It's not a loud rowdy place, and we've seen families dine-in plenty of times.“

I got a pizza and a sub to split with a friend for dine-in and once again they did not disappoint!
