“Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed their lunch specials. We were seated right away and service was prompt and attentive. Prices are reasonable. The interior is comfortable and pleasant, and they have a full bar upstairs and TV'S and a pool table as well. We both agreed our food was good but not exceptional. Portions are adequate for the lunch specials. Overall a nice place for some Chinese food at a reasonable price right in downtown Concord.Parking: Parking is around back and not many slots. Consider across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Restroom is up the stairs.“
“Wow, don't expect to get refills on glasses of soda. This must be a new policy since we've been going there over 10 years. They charged us for each short glass of soda my husband drank. Good thing I got the hot tea. Yes I still Love it here, because it's literally the best place around.“
“Perfect Chinese-American take-out place. We ate inside the restaurant. Very basic and clean. Absolutely delicious food. We got 2 lunch specials: General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll $9.50 ,and shrimp chow mein with crab Rangoon. $9.25. Wonderful flavors and large portion-enough for two lunches! Friendly people and fast service. We will return to Jade Garden next time we're in Hooksett. Can't wait to try some other choices on the menu. Thank You!“
“We had been searching Manchester for a decent Chinese place for a bit now and decided to look on yelp the reviews here were pretty decent so we took a chance we got a pretty easy order pu pu for 3 ordered there waited about 20 min that's fine The food was really good not excellent but will be back to try other items Will recommend“
“Just got takeout today and tried various things including items from their Dim Sum menu. Absolutely delicious!!! The vegetables in both the lo mein and shrimp dish were fresh and crunchy. Tried 3 different dumplings which were all great. Definitely coming back!“
“I think any Chinese food in NH is grand slam. The orange chicken here was great, and I think the wonton soup was the best wonton soup I'd ever had. I learned I was born in the year of the sheep from the paper place mat. I'd eat here again. Great food, great prices, and great ladies.“
“Dragon star has been my go to for 16 years. It's family run and is always consistent. Portions are great, not greasey, and when it was closed during covid I really missed them. The location is great, lobby is simple, and you won't regret it.“
“I have it on good authority this restaurant is immaculately clean. The food is good and made to order. I've never had a meal here that tasted like it was sitting for a long time. New Year's is always a crunch time for Chinese food, and they handled like a boss. I had to wait only a half hour. But that's way better than the three-plus hours I've had to wait before at other Chinese food places on New Year's Eve.“
“So, I came here for a family event with 20+ people. I ordered Chicken lo mein, Orange chicken and a poo poo platter for 2. The food tasted delicious! They serve the platters with fire on top and the portions are huge the wait time wasn’t that long it was only 45 minutes for my family of 20+ the waiters didn’t talk much but they were polite the bathrooms do smell like cigarettes but everything else is delicious!“
“Meis is AWESOME. Food is really good, especially if you go in and sit to get it fresh. Kevin specifically is so kind and it’s a pleasure talking to him while eating great food. Highly recommend the general tsos and “meat buns”. SO GOOD!!“
“I've lived in Goffstown for a long time but have only tried this restaurant twice now. And I don't know why! It's really good. We placed a takeout lunch order and got 3 combination plates: General Gau's, Szechuan Chicken, and Sweet & Sour Pork, along with a Pu Pu platter for 1 to try out all the little fried appetizer bits. Everything was hot, fresh, carefully packaged, and delicious. Don't miss this little Chinese food place in between Weeks Pizza and The Village Trestle, right in the heart of Goffstown village.“
“We have been getting their delivery for years and always enjoyed it but woah the new upgrades in delivery service are amazing! New containers don't leak and keep food fresher and keeping the fried items completely separate from the other items really made everything we got fantastic! Crab Rangoon came extra crisp and crunchy as did egg rolls and all the lo mein and rice were excellent. The different entrees were also as per usual great!Very happy with the updates!“
“First time ordering from here. Every bite of meat was perfect! Im the type of person who bites into a piece of fat and gets grossed out so I stop eating, but every bite was great and there was no fat in the chicken!!! Lo mein was wonderful, the beef teriyaki and broccoli were delightful. Will definitely be ordering from here rather than our normal place the next town over; this might become our new “go to”.Parking: Parking on side of building makes for an easier exit when you leave.“
“Is it the best Chinese food I've ever had? No. Is it the best Chinese food in Concord? Very likely. The General Tso's chicken doesn't have the broccoli, but if you ask for it spicy they will make it actually spicy and the chicken and sauce are both excellent. The orange chicken is also great. Crab Rangoons are a little heavy and a little chewy for my liking, but they're fine. Lo Mein is pretty salty, but still great. Altogether, the food is well prepared. Decor is dated, but who cares? Full-service experience is great and takeout is quick.“
“The food here is in large portions and made in a timely manner, and I definitely recommend the beef and broccoli! The only thing that I didn't completely enjoy was the shumai, but that may be ignorance on my part. When I've gotten shumai at other restaurants, they've been a mix of pork and shrimp, but the ones I got here seemed more like har gao, a shrimp dumpling without pork. They were okay, but not what I was expecting—as I said though, that may just be ignorance on my part ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Parking: There's street parking spots right in front of the building, as well as further around the street. It's Concord, mostly street parking anywhere you go.“
“Our favorite source of Chinese food in the greater Concord area. We have formed our standards from what is available in San Francisco and New York, and they definitely are acceptable by these standards, and we were thrilled to find them. The cold noodles are my favorite appetizer.“
