“Our visit was amazing! Our grandchildren learned about the history of making maple syrup as well as the process. The owners engaged the children to explore the property and check the sap buckets. The baked goods are beyond words…maple meringue, are just one of the kids favorites. My favorite…the Anadama bread and their special coffee.”

The event was exceptionally busy at times in the kitchen and the staff were efficient, organized and detail oriented. They were a joy to work with! And of course - the food was AMAZING. “We stopped here for lunch after hiking Mount Major and had a great time! The beer was outstanding (the Wish You Were Here NE IPA was the best IPA that I've had in a while!) and the pizza was very tasty! It was also a very relaxed atmosphere and was perfect for our two kids and our dog. We will definitely be back!”

“I'm your neighbor from the other side, south sore of Montréal, Quebec. I passed by from my camping trip in Biddeford, Maine. This place was very different from what i thought, it makes us feel very comfortable and welcoming. The workers are nice and service was fast. The food was delicious, i orderd the hamburger diner plate and i was full!

“Attended with a large group after a memorial service in town. The food and service were excellent. I ordered the Incredible Seafood Stew and it was outstanding. Large chunks of lobster, haddock, shrimp and scallops and no potatoes! Amazingly delicious, truly the best seafood stew I’ve ever tasted. Looking forward to going back sometime soon. “The food was good and the atmosphere was great, the waitress was not very attentive to our table though.. I did ask to be put away from people due to my wife's health and getting ready for her bone marrow transplant so that might have scared her to not come over to our table much. I ordered a carrot cake to go but never received it, I forgot all about it when I paid the check but I was at the counter buying some glasses so it wasn't like I just up and left, there was time for the waitress to bring it out or could have brought it out when I paid the check but she didn't. other than that it was very good and their light beer I got was excellent.”

“My go to spot for Asian in the ossipee region. The sushi is constantly well prepared and fresh. The servers excel at trying to be helpful whether im alone or if I bring a group. Cost is on par or slightly higer than other Japanese restaurants but its worth it.”

This place popped up with several great reviews, so we gave it a shot. The food definitely delivered!\n\nWe ordered the sampler (with double chicken tenders and potato skimmers), two orders of mozzarella sticks, and the mac & cheese with ribs. Everything came out hot and packed with flavor. We even got onion rings which we didn’t order but were happy to see. Total comfort food and worth the wait. I also had the Painkiller cocktail, which was strong but definitely hit the spot.\n\nThat said, service was slow across the board. It took a while just to get acknowledged, then more time to get drinks, even more for the food, and the bill took a while too. They were clearly busy, and our server Jen was friendly and attentive when she was with us, but the wait times added up.\n\nThe atmosphere felt very “homey” kind of like a small town hangout where everyone knows each other. As someone who rocks an afro, I definitely stood out, the place lacked diversity and that was noticeable. Still, we didn’t feel unwelcome, just very aware of it.\n\nOverall, it’s a cozy, homey spot with great food. Just go in knowing it might be a slow-paced experience, especially on a busy night.”

“Monday (Labor Day), I drove an hour to here on my way home from Maine for breakfast to find they were closed. No sign or anything. I checked both FB and online before going (I was on the road before they opened), to find that they were going to be opened. I’m just wondering why they were closed.”

“We usually get the chicken sandwiches but after reading farmer Dave’s info about his burgers ,we had to try them. We went with the route 16 classic cheeseburgers added bacon and we were NOT disappointed. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I upgraded to onion rings and those were excellent as well.”

“Super friendly team at the outdoor dairy bar! Soft serve and regular ice cream is delicious. We hadnt been in awhile, but saw just size S and L for soft serve on the listed menu so we ordered S. WAY TOO BIG! Please add a mini to the menu. That much ice cream isn't healthy for anyone, and we both had to throw half of it out. A waste.”

Have been coming here for years. Not once was it greasy.......that's a plus.
And always fresh no matter how many people in restaurant.
We were the only ones once or twice and food was as fresh as can be.

“This place is really great. 4 stars isn't quite right. It should probably be 4.5. Our server did an amazing job, and I can't say enough good things about her. She did everything just right. The food was very good and my steak tips were amazing. When I get back to new hampshire next time we will have a return trip here.”

“They are now making the best thin crust pizza anywhere. But if you want a classic toasted Italian sub, don't order it here. Maybe they grew up in someplace other than the east coast, but even with coaching, they don't know what "toasted" is, where the bun gets a bit crunchy, the cheese is well melted and the meat is hot and losing its juices to the bun. Like another poster described, very much like a Market Basket sandwich.”
