“The pie was wonderful, lovely mixed fruit filling and flakey crust. And the Schneckens (?sp?) Oh heavens... I could eat WAY too many of these in one sitting... Truly a hidden gem of a pastry here in the mountains of New Hampshire!”
“A classic staple. The service is great, the breakfast is hands-down, the best around with house-made breads + flavored iced coffees. Order anything on the specials board!Kid-friendliness: I have two toddlers and they're nuts. This place treats them like family.”
“Muddy Road Brewery, aptly named for the beautiful road in, is a sweet little brewery. Located on a quiet country road, this brewery is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is quaint and relaxing. The service is friendly and genuine. The beer is fantastic! Be sure to try a flight because there are so many varieties to sample. They have pizza, made fresh on site in a little food truck, which was tasty and priced well. You can sit inside or out and the place is dog friendly. If you are looking for great beer, great service, good music and a relaxing atmosphere, then you will not be disappointed. Don't forget a growler to go! Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.”
“I travel a lot around the country, and this place has the best veggie omelette I've ever found! Plus the atmosphere is low key and staff friendly. A must place to visit!”
“Only seating for 14 inside, when outside dining is open that will be a big help, fantastic food!!! Very friendly, limited beer and wine only and some special non alcoholic Thai drinks. PHO was fantastic!Parking: Easy in and out, has handicap ramp”
“I came back out tonight and just want to say it was a complete 180 from the last experience I had. The hostess was kind and respectful the waitress was outstanding (we will be tipping well) and the food was great. Thank you.”
“Amazing small diner with perfect vibes and some of the highest quality (and affordable) breakfast in the area. They do lunch as well, which is equally amazing. Ps, the Irish Benedict is to die for!!”
“My wife is formerly from Wolfeboro and wanted to show me the ropes and this restaurant was definitely on my wife's list of ," must " see experiences representing the town and its old world feel. It was truly all that and more.Parking: As typical in a small town street front venue, parking is available, with some walking depending on the day, and time.”
“They are so friendly and nice here! I got a MASSIVE steak tip sub which was delicious. I ate it there, because I figured it would not travel well. Maybe don't do this one for takeout unless you get the toppings separate from the bread. But it was extremely well put together, everything was distributed beautifully and the bread was really good. When you hit the layer of cheese melting on the bottom it all just sings! They have their own line of old-fashioned sodas in glass bottles. The orange soda is great!”
“Friendly staff. Burger was cooked the way I asked. Fries were flavorful. Hope to visit again and try the different meads. Over all food was good and spacious seating. I tried a sour beer with blueberry. The beer a definite sour but, could appreciate the blueberry flavor. Had a piece of cake to go. Lemon Ricotta Cake. Liked the cake but, was a little dry. Over all had a great time and would go again.”
“Best Sushi and Sashimi in New Hampshire. The service is quick, attentive and they are very nice! Everything on their menu is great. The house dressing they use on their green salad is spectacular. They have a great lunch menu as well. Cold beer, fresh fish, great service. Saka is the place to be!Parking: Plenty of free parking. Easy in and out.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.”
“This place has been on our list of restaurants we have wanted to try for quite some time. What a gem! Cozy, interesting atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and expansive menu! Always amazes me to discover such great places in off-the-beaten-track areas. All four of us were very satisfied with our meals, drinks and desserts. Service was stellar. Definitely making this a regular choice as one of our more local gathering places. Hard 5 stars!”
“We ordered our cake for our wedding for this lovely bakery to be delivered in West Ossipee NH. Not only was Kate a pleasure to deal with, the cake was delicious, beautiful, just perfect! Thank you so much! ( I was trying to post the picture but having technical issues)”
“My close friend and I just finished dinner here. We had deviled eggs with smoked salmon roe and everything bagel spice, duck aroncini, home made gnocchi with lemon cream, and crispy duck with black garlic aioli and razor thin spring carrots. We sat at the bar as was reserved for us. Julian, the bartender, was super attentive and carried a wonderful demeanor. The food, hospitality, drinks, and service were impeccable. Highly recommend and can't wait till our next visit.”
“Haven't had dine-in experience...but the takeout is the best in the area. Call ahead on the way north.. just give them 20 minutes and you'll be eating great.”
“My favorite place to get together with friends to relax and have a cold beer.Gary, the owner, is a national treasure. Thankful when I have the opportunity to spend time with him.”
“I highly recommend Wakefield House of Pizza. The subs and burgers are consistently well-made with fresh ingredients, and the staff is always friendly. The owner is particularly noteworthy for her warm and welcoming demeanor, creating that small town feel within the shop. This restaurant has established itself as the go-to take out destination among locals. For a top-notch experience, look no further than Wakefield House of Pizza.”

“Love love love this place! Highly recommend to everyone. As a fellow chinese woman it is truly the most authentic Chinese food I have had besides my grandmothers cooking ? If I could rate it higher I would.”
“When getting pizza for a big family get-together in Wolfeboro, Louis is the place to go! It's not fancy Neapolitan pizza, but the pies are consistently tasty and kid-friendly. It's sure to be a crowd-pleaser! We also had their onion rings, which are the best in town. They're crispy without being overly greasy, and do not end up soggy after a while.”
“Love Burnt Timber! Always a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal with friends. Always had friendly wait staff and good food. Nice to find a spot off main street too!”
“Cute place, perfect menu for kids. Blt was yummy, bacon cooked perfectly, bread could have been a bit more toasted. Kid enjoyed the grilled cheese and hubby the steak and cheese. The staff was all super friendly and kind. The ice cream of course was amazing. Nice little place to stop in for a quick meal and dessert.”
“Absolutely amazing! We order from here all of the time and we just ordered a Margherita pizza and it was perfect, crispy, flavorful, and just great. Thank you!!!!”
“We stopped at OHOP on our way back home and I will say the pizza is great for the area. I recommend ordering it well done. The prices are a bit high in my opinion compared to other pizza restaurants but in that area they are few and far between”
“Really good food I’m picky I haven’t found a Chinese restaurant where I’d like their food in about three years. This place is got all of them be in Rochester. Great quality and tasty.”
“We are locals and love their yummy pizza and burgers!!! Lately, I've been getting their salads too and am loving the mix they use!!! Their staff is great, but I want to give a HUGE shoutout to their takeout staff - you rock!!! Never have I ever had such wonderful takeout experiences! I worked in the industry for 8 LONG years, know how thankless it can be, and the standards they have at Tumbledown are on point!!!”
“Stopped in for the very first time since living here! The food was delicious, I had a grilled shrimp sandwich wrap which was prepared deliciously. Husband has a fried haddock sandwich! He enjoyed every bit of it as it was so big that two people could have eaten it. Service was excellent, Sue was the best. Definately a great find. Will be returning to try many other delicious items on menu as well.”
