“Delicious food, friendly staff, and a cool site connection to the rail system! We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer(these were by far the best and tasted phenomenal) and the lamb burger, as well as two of the mocktails. This was surprisingly good and was a great option for a lunch stop amidst our exploring White Mountain National Forest. We came upon it while driving along the road exploring and we're grateful for a lovely stop for food. They also could connect to the Omni wifi, which was helpful as we had no signal!”

HOT PRETZELS
Two oversized pretzels served with beer cheese and Tuckerman's mustard. The pretzels were so good that I devoured the first one immediately and had to order a second before the meal was even over. They had a perfect golden crust with a warm, soft center, and the mustard was incredibly flavorful. Truly the best hot pretzel I've ever had.

HARVEST SALAD
A fresh, vibrant mix of arugula, spinach, strawberries, pickled peaches, blueberries, red onion, and sunflower seeds topped with grilled chicken and dressed in a maple lemon vinaigrette. The fruit added brightness, the pickled peaches gave a fun tangy twist, and the vinaigrette tied everything together with a sweet citrus finish. Light, but satisfying.

“The drinks are pricey, but you have to expect that from a hotel restaurant. It feels historic and has a cool rock walkway in and out of the place. Its not very big but is cosy, the drinks were good. Check it out, but you must be 21 to enter.”

“We have been to Stickney's before, but have read some reviews and were a little skeptical about stopping by while out taking Christmas pics in the area. We were going to stop in anyway to take some inside pics of the hotel all decked out in Christmas decorations. Results....glad we did. Hostess was great taking our reservation and when we came back a few minutes early she sat us right away. Our waiter came over to our table and we recognized him from our previous visits. I apologize if I have the name wrong, but if I remember right it was Claudio. It takes the right person to work at a Hotel like this and return and see a face you remember was great. I ordered the Truffle Fries to start and a Smash Burger for my meal. It was a Tuesday night and we were picking at food all day, so when the Truffle Fries came out and the Smash Burger later it was hard to find room for it all. My only issue is paying $10 to park. Long walk, it's in the middle of the week, and there was plenty of parking.”

“We had the $10. burger special with choice of fries. It was great. They were busy with only one server, but it went very smoothly with teamwork. A potential guest decided she could make her own parking spot at the front door and was asked by another guest not to park there. Instead of helping her elderly mother into the restaurant and then moving her car, she got angry, moved her car and then dragged her mother into the restaurant. She wanted to be seated in a closed section, which she was told she could not. She was belligerent and privileged. She blamed everyone else for her problems and blamed it on prejudice because of her NY plates...that no one could see. The food and service were great, the floor show was a bonus.”

Village lies a sweet haven most enchanting - the Mini Doe-nut Factory! There I did partake of hot cocoa rich and coffee bold, companions most worthy to the crown jewel: their wondrous mini doe-nuts, golden and fair. Each bite was as though sugar sprites themselves had danced upon my tongue, leaving delight in their wake. Though the cost be not small, the joy was great, and such pleasures are treasures most rare. With cheer in my heart and warmth in my hands, I shall remember this stop with fondest mirth and gladly commend it to all travelers who pass through this festive land.”

“Arrived late Friday night and could only imagine what the view would be like in the morning. Slept with the balcony sliders open and fell into a deep sleep to the sounds of the ammonoosuc river gently rolling. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Morning found me well rested and waking to a glorious sunrise on the first day of autumn in all the glory. Breakfast was amazing on the river. Short walk after on pierce bridge for yet another amazing view. Our event was at eleven across 302 on the river road so we spent as much time as we could at the inn. Highly recommend and reserve early the place is sold out and for good reason. I hope to travel this way again and remain here for a longer stay there is much of heaven to explore in there parts!”

“Came here for a girls overnight getaway and dined here. Loved the ambiance of the wine cellar (bring a sweater-its chilly down there! Menu is seasonal and slim, but literally everything was delicious, especially the scallop dish! Waitstaff was short staffed and a little curt, but everything else was delightful.”
