“I went to Baked cafe last Thursday as I have done on many occasions. I witnessed one of the workers assisting an elderly lady who couldn’t hear and wanted what she has the last time. The worker met her with dignity and respect the entire time. She yelled every question at her and asked questions to get to the order she wanted. I over heard the two elderly friend make a comment about how fast and nice the place was. Keep being awesome.“

“French bread is GOOD. Been going here since childhood and have perfected my order: hint, use the herb mayo on sandwiches. The amount of sando filling can be inconsistent but always fresh.

I wish the cream cheese berry croissants weren’t so expensive these days, but remain a favorite treat.“

“Out of the two locations in concord. This is the only one i go to. Always clean, the board is always cleaned off prior to my sub being placed on so it’s never cross contaminated. I came in last night and wanted to shout out one of the staff members. I did not get his name, but he had a cross tattoo on his face. He promptly took our order, he was consistently keeping himself busy and was super polite. He is a team leader and role model. The other two fellows were nice but they did seem a bit out of it and it felt like the one guy was keeping charge of everything and guiding them.“

“A few months ago, I came into this Jersey Mike’s to order a kids meal and asked if I could substitute the bottled water for a fountain drink in a kids cup, which every other Jersey Mike’s I’ve been to has done without any issue. Instead of simply explaining the policy, the employee helping me, Gavin, raised his voice at me, yelled that I “didn’t know what I was talking about,” and insisted they had never done that before. The interaction was so unpleasant that I avoided this location for the next 3–4 months and drove to another Jersey Mike’s instead.

I recently came back because this location was much more convenient, and I had a completely different experience. The woman with the colorful curly hair was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, patient, and incredibly accommodating. She even explained to the employees that, yes, the substitution could be done. It was validating to know I hadn’t been mistaken all along.

On top of that, I watched her handle a huge rush of customers. She stayed calm, worked quickly, treated everyone with kindness, and kept everything moving efficiently. She is exactly the kind of employee every business hopes to have and truly deserves recognition and a raise.

I hope management recognizes the difference one great employee can make. She completely turned my opinion of this location around.“
