“We wanted Italian tonight and was pleased to find Cartellis North End right in Dover. Service was great. You can actually see the kitchen from anywhere you sit. Even though the place is small and noisy, the atmosphere was quaint and the food was delicious. I heard they give large portions, so we ended up each ordering appetizer and splitting an entree but still brought some home. Loved the spinach/artichoke dip. The chicken wings looked delicious but the penne vodka with shrimp dish was wonderful. Thanks for being so close to home and bedtime wishes to expand some day soon.”

“We have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. They aren’t your typical breakfast/brunch place. Cuisine is delicious and creative. Even my little kids love their bubble waffles. Highly recommend!”

“My boyfriend and I tried Sara Thai for the first time after passing through the area on a recommendation. We would give it a 10/10. Mai Tais were delicious. Pan fried dumplings were to die for. My boyfriend enjoyed the spring rolls. Pho was also delicious. They also proved to be very mindful of allergies. I have a shellfish allergy and after letting them know and placing our order; they realized the base of what I ordered had a ground up shellfish paste in it, they instantly came out to ask me if it was allergy or dislike. When I told them severe allergy they told me what on the menu I could get as they were out of the base of the vegetarian paste they could use in place of the shellfish one was. Not many chefs or restaurants would think of small ingredients like this being a contamination , so I really appreciated the awareness. Didn’t get pictures of everything, but attached is two great choices!”

“My wife and I went to Diverge for dinner and little bit ago. I had been looking for something out of our regular and I frequently check the reviews ahead of time. I had seen multiple posts about Diverge, so I pulled up their info, and I have to say, I also loved how the owner replied to reviews (especially the negatives). So, we decided to give it a go. I called ahead to see if reservations were required. They aren't, but they took my info, since I was already on the phone. When we arrived, it was just a short wait for the type of table we wanted (high-top vs low). It seemed pretty quiet for a Friday night. We ordered an appetizer of Pork Belly which was amazing and so tender. highly recommend. My wife got the Cod and I went with the NY strip, medium rare. My wife doesn't eat a lot at once, and after the app, she couldn't eat much of the Cod, but she loved it and was happy to finish it later at home. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and the scalloped potatoes were to die for! My wife doesn't generally enjoy potatoes, but she had a couple of bites of these. We made sure to let them know, too. The asparagus was also perfectly seasoned. I will admit, I'm a bit of a steak snob, and generally prefer my own home-cooked version. This one was well flavored and tender. It did come out a bit cooler than I'd like (might have waited a few for the piping hot potato), but when I mentioned it, they were more than accommodating. Also, there was a party of 12 whose order went in, and came out, just ahead of ours, so I'm quite certain that factored into the timing. It wasn't a big deal, and they handled it with grace. Against our norm, we decided to try the Chocolate cake with ganache and fresh strawberries for dessert. Again, my wife only had a few bites, and I'm diabetic so maybe it was silly of us to order, but it was also very tasty and quite rich. Even though we were sharing it, we brought about ½ of the cake home to finish later as well. Diverge is tucked away, behind Lexie's (one of our kids' favorite burger spots), enough so that you might not know it's there. We recommend giving Diverge a try and we'll be back! A side note dor those who like to plan ahead: like other businesses moving along the trend, their prices are cash prices and do have a small fee for cards to cover processing fees. It is plainly written on the menu, and we knew ahead of time, so there was no surprise. I'd say 4.5+ out of 5. Well done, Diverge!”

We have been so dissatisfied in the past with other local places & stumbled across The Brick this afternoon. We decided to give it a try & we’re so glad that we did! “Was here for a reserved dinner buffet style for 22 people for my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner.The drinks were awesome. Well made and you could tell it was an experienced bartender.The main course and side dishes were top-notch notch delicious. Before I continue let me just say I am SUPER picky about food. There was chicken breast with a type of Cranberry stuffing that was amazing chicken was tender and moist and the stuffing was so delicious. There was Fish with a type of stuffing that was awesome fish was tender flaky and perfectly cooked. There was a steak tip dish but I did not try it however the rest of the party all said it was very delicious. The side dishes were mixed green salad, baby oven-roasted seasoned potatoes, and oven-roasted mixed vegetables broccoli cauliflower, etc. I had the salad and baby potatoes and both were fantastic. There was only one type of salad dressing it was a creamy balsamic and it was absolutely delicious only wish there were a couple of different choices and there were no croutons but these are just personal preferences.Now onto dessert...there was regular cheesecake chocolate cheesecake and apple streusel. The regular cheesecake was ok but the chocolate cheesecake was yucky and the apple streusel was horrible. I could not even eat it and my father who eats just about anything couldnt eat it either. Mind you I love everything apple and apple streusel is my favorite. I've had some not great apple streusel but this was the worst I've ever had.Our waitress was fantastic.The atmosphere was really nice.It was not extremely clean but I'm a clean freak so things bother me like dust on light shades and on window sills where I'm eating.

Parking: Parking was extremely difficult. We had to drive around again and again and again and again and again before we spotted a car pulling out of a parking spot and then it was like piranha fighting over the spot so at this point we were late for the dinner even though we arrived 20 mins early. Also if you don't know where the entrance to the restaurant is it will take a bit for you to find because it sits way off the road in the mill building and the sign is small and not easy to see from the street.”

“I stumbled upon the roost a few year ago and have had many different experiences, some good, some not so great but Last week I went in during lunch with my wife and our friends. Our waitress was more than amazing! She was very cheerful, fun, knowledgeable and very observant! I am a veteran but also someone who NEVER asks if a restaurant has a veterans discount. Our server noticed my military pin on my jacket and asked if I had served our country, the answer was yes in which she instantly thanked me for my service and informed me that they offer a veterans discount for “those who serve our country”. I was very impressed because no one has ever been so observant as she was as well as having some really great recommendations on food and drinks and was able to carry an awesome conversation with our table! Although she was by herself and somewhat busy (making drinks, cleaning, and delivering food) her service continued to be impeccable and she didn’t even look flustered at all! She also had a very unique name that my wife really fell in love with! Although when she first brought us our check she had forgotten to put the discount on our bill (we did not tell her she had forgotten it) but as soon as she came back over to grab our payment, she realized her mistake and immediately applied the discount for us. My wife, our friends, and I have been to many restaurants and all agreed that this was the best experience we have ever had! We will be back again to visit our new favorite server!”

“My husband and I LOVE breakfast. We found this place awhile ago and have now been there a handful of times. 10 out of 10 every time. “We went to The Nook for the first time today and it was great! The food was wonderful but the staff was perhaps even better. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, and it was a very welcoming atmosphere, even with two (often loud) toddlers. I was very impressed!”

“Eat or takeout a great burrito, bowl, or nachos. Each order is made to your specifications right in front of you. Don't forget to add a bag of chips. If they have cookies and you are dining in ask them to put them on their warning table so you can have warm gooey cookies after you finish your meal.

“My best friend and I are phô fanatics and had been pretty let down by the quality of our once favorite Thai place. We went searching for a new place to try and stumbled across Thai Taste. When I tell you this is absolutely our new favorite restaurant, I am not exaggerating. The meat in the phô was so tender it fell apart. The noodles had the right amount of bite, the veggies were fresh and the broth was to DIE for. Our crab Rangoon and dumplings were also amazing. That’s not even what really made this experience amazing though! The customers there seemed to be regulars and were so kind and easy to talk to. Topping it off with ridiculously perfect service and an owner who was clearly passionate, talented, and kind - it was clear this was a rare gem. Do yourself a favor and go. I live in Manchester and I will gladly drive the hour just to go here. They have a customer for life.”

“The Olde Craft Bakery : My daughter had been gluten free for a long time. We purchased this bread at the beginning of the summer farmers market and continued to purchase it weekly. It is fermented which breaks down the gluten. Not only could she eat it and not have her belly hurt but it tastes amazing as well! The whole family is hooked on The Olde Craft Bakery bread. We’ve tried just about every bread they’ve offered - all delicious. Another plus, unlike processed breads, one slice is filling. The loaves freeze well too. Thank you For making delicious, healthy bread for my family!”

“This young man took my order and though he seemed slammed he had a positive attitude. He worked incredibly fast and I was in and out in time for my chiropractic appointment. The rush I received was well made and his attitude was incredibly positive. I came around 3:30 which at other locations seems to be a long wait time but he worked very effectively. I was overjoyed by his performance and when asked his name I learned my new favorite fast food worker was landon!”

Parking: Downtown Dover parking. We found a space and there is always the garage. Any parking issues are not in any way the fault of the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: Several kids there today. Seemed to be enjoying their food. So very kid friendly”
