“2 day getaway from the moment we registered with sweet Jennifer oh my..she gave us a tour.showed us the menu for that evening. she is si knowledgeable and friendly our carriage room #2 was so homey..2 comfy chairs for reading 📚 fridge.coffee bar right outside the room..we can't wait to return.. food delicious 😋 the grands were immaculate!!! ty for a relaxing stay!!“

“If there's one place in the Valley that I would want to go every night of the week THIS would be it. Scratch kitchen (I'm 98% sure) , rotating menu, ridiculously good fish tacos to which I'm strangely addicted. If you manage to actually finish an entree you should win an award. The tacos are massive(ly good.) I'm pretty sure the secret is out and I won't be able to just walk in whenever, but if there's a wait I'll do it!“

The Passenger sitting next to me on the plane recommended this restaurant and pointed out to me that when a restaurant hangs a yellow flag with a fork on it, is a locally owned establishment, not part of a chain. Given our first time to the northeast, we had to taste the New England clam chowder and a lobster roll for our late lunch. Not only was it among the best clam chowders I’ve ever eaten, but the lobster roll was served at our request on a gluten-free bun . The service was outstanding. The elderflower cocktail was superb.
What a lucky serendipitous recommendation! So happy to have dined here.
EDIT to say we spent 3 more days in New England and had clam chowder three more times. HANDS DOWN this was THE best clam chowder in three states.“
