“We’re locals and have only eaten here once or twice. Gotta tell you though, we decided to come by and have some sandwiches the other day. To say the food was great would be an understatement. The Pastrami Rueben was the best I’ve ever had. My wife had the fish sandwich, which she devoured. The freshly made potato fries could have been a meal in itself, so good. “My husband took me to Cotton last night for my birthday. The owner was at the host stand and she was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our server scooter was an absolute sweetheart. She was just the right amount of attentive. Shrimp appetizer was so delicious and our steaks had so much flavor and were cooked to perfection(med-rare) cocktails were great too! “Everything is absolutely delicious, fresh, and served piping hot! They were able to help my husband enjoy multiple dishes without any heat, as he is extremely sensitive. On the flip-side, whenever I ask for my dishes to be "extra extra spicy", they are never afraid to serve it up! Lots of fresh ingredients, the herbs and spices, and such fast service. We are so relaxed when we dined there tonight. The server gave us a nice little gift, which we were very touched by his kindness. Really friendly staff with a decent sized outdoor seating section and no wait on a Saturday night. The kids were excited about the bonus cookie that came with their meals, and they even had a menu for our pup with multiple choices which I haven't seen anywhere else! The crispy chicken salad was delicious. Will definitely be back next time we're in town!“

“I was so upset on Tuesday when I wasn't able to stop by for the pulled pork special. Luckily for me they also had it on Wednesday!! As soon as I saw it, I dropped everything and headed straight there. Joanne took great care of me even though she was taking care of many other customers. I started off with the potatoes skins, which were perfectly cooked and delicious. I started drooling when the special arrived; pulled pork sliders, truffle fries and a piece of corn bread. I don't think there is a better combination of food on the earth. With some self control, I left room for dessert...fried oreo cheesecake rolls!!! If I was on death row, this would be my last meal. “My boyfriend and i ordered dinner through GrubHub from the Pint Publik House. The meal was delivered still piping hot. Each dish was fantastic. The chicken tenders were juicy and very flavorful. My boyfriend loved the curried goat! Highly recommend this dish. Very tender and full of flavor. We also ordered jerk pork and if we closed our eyes you would have sworn we were actually in Jamaica. All the sides were really good from the ceasar salad, rice and peas to the sweet potato fries. The restaurant manager took the time to call us and let us know that the food container tops might be loose. He went above and beyond to make sure we were aware as we opened the containers. We look forward to ordering again!“

“Stark House Tavern, the local watering hole. The only place where I can hate every ingredient in something and end up liking it (M-80s). The "North of the Border" tots? Immaculate. Imagine munchkins except they're mashed potatoes in a shell of deliciousness, smothered in gravy and cheese curds. Angels sing every time a plate of them gets put in front of me. The burgers? Perfect. As long as you dont order it well done like a buffoon.

My only gripe with this place is that it's not big enough but that's okay because they serve you beer in the "waiting room", which is enough to shut me up about waiting. Way better than the doctors office waiting room. My second only gripe is that I wish they had more options for Sours and Ciders, cause I love them and there's usually only 1 or 2. This is a "me" problem because I'm at Stark more than I'd like to admit, and get bored easily. They do have a good selection of Stouts, Porters and IPAs, which are essentially jet fuel in my humble opinion. The servers are also super nice! (yes I just left there a few hours ago).“

“I hired Caroline’s to supply all of the food for my Dads end of life celebration after he passed away. I spoke with Laurie and asked her if they could accommodate a backyard bbq style menu which she assured me they could. I had specific food requests all to which they supplied without any questions or issues. The food arrived hot, delicious and better than I had imagined! Laurie was a pleasure to talk to when creating the menu of my choice and working out all the details for delivery. JJ made the actual delivery and was amazing with communicating to us about his arrival time and very professional when he arrived to my home. I would highly recommend Caroline’s Fine Foods to anyone! “I was just here today, among many other times, but I have so much respect for the owner and her staff. The food is quick, the drinks are good, but due to the location, there is an influx of hungry folks. A gentleman came in asking for French fries, although I offered to pay for his fries but was asked not to, the way this woman handled the situation was impeccable. She treated him like an actual human when most do not. She packed up his fries, got him anything he needed, and even threw in some extra fries for him to have. I have NEVER had a bad experience here and this just solidified for me the integrity and honor this owner has. Love being here!!!!“

However, I tried contacting them at least 4 times to book a private event and never got a reply. Really disappointing because they were our first choice. So if you’re looking to host a function I hope you have better luck than I did.“
