“Our pizza, BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza was amazing. The size of our Fried Dough was that of a small pizza and it was quite delicious. We met the owner, Dante, who is friendly and very human. It was disappointing to my wife and I that on a Sunday afternoon, we were the only one's in the restaurant for over 45 minutes. That is a shame, every time I eaten here, the food and service have been outstanding.Next time I'm in Maine, this is one of my stops. Well done Dante!“
“The waitress was extremely helpful with our questions and knowledgeable of the oysters in stock! BEST CLAM CHOWDER, had a nice kick to it. The oysters were really fresh, and the sauces provided had a good amount of heat if you're someone that likes to have Tabasco or a lil something to add some more flavor to oysters like me. Definitely going to come back to try the dessert“
“Always a great time with great food. Come early if you want to beat the wait, but they have a great phone app that keeps you posted on your table. If there is a wait, usually a quick walk to the waterfront and they’re texting that your table is ready.“
“Amazing food - well seasoned and cooked. Crispiest potatoes on the seacoast!! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Good mix of canned and draft beverages. No cocktails, but the food more than makes up for it!Parking: Unmarked spaces, but plenty of roomWheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is 1/2 over 1/2 gravel, but no steps so it’s wheelchair accessible“
“I finally had the chance to go to The Riverworks since the new owners and I'm so glad I did! I was greeted with a smile and sat with a friend at a great little table for two. We both had a strong and tasty drink and a beer with the absolutely delicious beer-battered chicken tenders and a charcuterie board. It's a really cozy, intimate place to hang out and I would go back in a heartbeat!“
“I visited for the first time yesterday during lunch. Tried a slice of chicken bacon ranch and Caesar salad. The chicken and bacon were perfect - not too chunky, great flavor, stayed on the pizza and paired well with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and ranch. The slice was huge and had little to no grease. The Caesar salad was good size and the dressing was, dare I say, the best I've ever had!!! Fast and friendly service. The staff were always doing something - cleaning, communicating, and cooking. Well done and thanks for a great lunch. I will definitely be back.Parking: Parking spots are available in front of the building as well as to the left side a whole lot for outlet shopping and not far from the pizza place. All free parking.“
“I was given a special tasty treat today visiting Laney & Lu for the first time. This is an amazing place, very spacious with an outdoor patio, very neat and clean, plenty of parking (which is an anomaly for Portsmouth), excellent customer service and the food is delicious and divine! This is perfect combination if you want to relax and sit in and dine and or or if you want to eat quick and go but want something healthy, nourishing with high quality ingredients and taste. I had the best egg sandwich of my life, a Biscuit & Gravy Organic egg over easy with cashew mushroom gravy, walnut chorizo, spinach, micro-greens, scallion, served on gluten-free sweet potato biscuit. It was flavorful and fresh. In addition, they have an assortment of tasty and fresh pastries, designer coffee, espresso drinks and herbal teas. I had a "Macro" doughnut which was delightfully sweet, moist on the inside with a lustrous coat of sweet maple walnut glaze on the outside. I had the tea with Ashwaganda, gingko, lavender, tulsi, schisandra berries and it cleared my sinuses. Happy to have found this place, I am definitely coming back to try the rest of their menu.“
“I enjoy this place a lot. Old school. Wish they would open the dining soon. They had a hard winter with the flooding this January. This venue is right on the water. Real cool watching the boats come by. Best salad bar in the area. Pumpkin bread rocks!“
“We stopped here for dinner after looking at real estate in the area. I got fish and chips (delicious, no issues) and my wife ordered a different dish. The dish was….problematic, so the server Helena took it back to the kitchen. She brought a replacement (same dish) and it had the same problem. The reason I’m not saying exactly what dish or what problem is because Helena and the restaurant owner were so accommodating. They took extremely good care of us and brought my wife a very nice margherita pizza after her other dish didn’t work out.If we end up purchasing a home in this area, we’ll definitely be back.“
“My daughter and I were craving a roast beef sandwich and Henry VIII Carvery came up as the top choice. After eating there, I can see why. Living in Northern MA, I'm used to the North Shore style roast beef which is thinly sliced, piled high, and typically swimming in sauce. Here, they serve a chopped prime rib roast beef sandwich with this amazing sour cream horseradish sauce and it served on this perfect sub roll which is soft, a little crunchy crust and holds the meat nicely. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, super tender and flavorful and the the roll was very good. We enjoyed a bag of chips on the side.Cool decor in the restaurant including a full sized knight in shining armor. Of I loved closer to Kittery, I'd be here weekly. Definitely check them out!“
“We haven't even had our wedding catered yet and I can already say that Thyme and Tide is 5/5 stars. We have been in communication via email while planning for our wedding and Cory is an excellent and speedy communicator. We just had a tasting and we were amazed at the commitment Chef Reed makes to each component of each dish. The whole tasting experience was smooth and easy and Cory took notes on what we did and didn't like. The food was incredible, really elevated flavors, everything cooked perfectly. We walked away knowing without a doubt that our wedding food was in the best possible hands and that peace of mind during the wedding planning process is priceless. We are so excited to have Thyme and Tide cater our wedding, will update then!“
“Stopped by tonight and had a great experience and meal, well worth the price and service. Plenty to eat and had left over food. If you are out, I would strongly suggest you make a stop, well worth it!Parking: Can find a spot right in front of the storefront. Easy to park and walk to the front.“
“I get take out here about 3x a week, I adore the staff, the food and the ownership is wonderful. They take pride in what they do and I look forward to my lunch a few times a week. Very consistent, always delicious, and they’re always so friendly! 100/10“
“Bright, clean and cheerful. The cashier was extremely helpful giving me directions for my first visit there. The ability to taste the soups of the day was marvelous. I would never have tried a whole bowl of spicy Thai soup but tasting it left me wanting more! The salad was fresh and colorful.“
“Had an awesome experience at the oar house this weekend. Got to sit at the bar and taste some new creations from the bartender. Was really cool watching the experimentation and getting a first glance at the upcoming drinks. Snagged a couple of photos ??“
“This was by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The seating (on a Saturday night) was extremely prompt, service was above and beyond, the food was stellar and quick. My wife and I are blown away. Thank you for an amazing meal and great conversation!“
“Kudos to the chef for creating such yummy dishes! My favorites are Key Lime Smoothie Bowl (seasonal), Cashew Caesar (sub GF bread) and Falafel Mediterranean. They are very respectful of food allergies, which I appreciate. I love the fresh, tasty ingredients...just be prepared to pay a bit more. Exeter location is usually quite busy and seating is limited. In warmer months, outdoor space helps alleviate seating issue. Head over to beautiful, new, spacious Portsmouth location for more elbow room.“
“We don’t have a ton of NSB spots in NH, but Haps is clearly on top of the game here in the area. Their sandwiches are consistently great, regardless of how busy they are. Pictured are from two different visitsVegetarian options: They’ve got a ton of fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks (and 8” mozzarella logs), chips and stuff“
“First off as soon as you walk in you are greeted very Respectfully. We were in a 6 person group and everything we had was fantastic. Some of the best Italian food I've had in a long time. Pasta was made in house and fresh and the ficcocia bread was fresh and amazing. Will come here again for sure when visiting.“
“I had the vegan supreme pizza. If they don’t make it so oily, I would have it again. My friend literally thought maybe they accidentally spilled oil on it because it was so extremely soggy from the oil. The flavor was good and they didn’t use tomato sauce which is awesome for me but the ooiiillll ? BUT This should be a go to spot. I’ll just have something different next time.“
“Went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was phenomenal. We've been there many times and while we've had many good meals, this past week was a cut above. All meals were beautifully presented, cooked perfectly and delicious. AP many interesting and unique flavors. We went deep on the appetizers. The fried artichokes, and the wagyu meatballs were both a wonderful start, but it was the Tater tots took 1st prize on the apps. Dinner entries were great. Steak, salmon and fish special were all fabulous. And the pear cobbler was a perfect finish. We will be back sooner rather than later.“
“It's my first time visiting, and we will be back. The place is HUGE!! it must seat hundreds. We went on St. Partick's Day in the afternoon and it was busy but not full. I had the "thin" clam chowder and it was full of clams and well done. My wife loved her fish chowder. My fried bay scallop roll was full of scallops, didn't eat the roll and was stuffed. My wife got the haddock sandwich broiled and was impressed. The views are great, and the service was on time (Thanks, Karyzmah).“
“Love this place! Thanks to Zac we had great service and he wasn’t even our server. Small Cesar is enough for two if you split a pie. I have not had a bad or mediocre meal here yet. Full bar with specialty drinks are the icing on the cake!Parking: Public lot and street parking is free.“
“I liked this place. For an appetizer, we had the California Fries, which were very good. For a main meal I had the Taco Salad which was also very good. For a drink, I had a sangria. Not the best that I have had. The atmosphere was friendly, relaxing, and fun. The service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend Loco Coco's.“
“I can't say enough good things about this place!! We were in town for a hockey tournament and when a team of 10 year old boys and families showed up Friday night at 8:30 the owner and staff were beyond accommodating. Obviously it's off season there so there was plenty of room but they rearranged tables for us and were so patient and kind through out the chaos. Even more so when we showed up the next night! And the food....so good! Lobster Rangoon was awesome! The chowder was perfect! Best part was the already reasonable prices were cut in half for March Madness! If you're looking for a great spot I highly recommend Boardwalk Cafe!!“
“The food here is always delicious and the staff are kind, friendly and personable. My family has tried mostly everything on their menu and it is always served hot and tastes delicious! It's a small town restaurant with a big town taste!“
