“This is not a tapas restaurant. It’s a restaurant with a small menu, with a lot of appetizers and a few entrees, but if you’re looking for a tapas place in the traditional sense, this isn’t it.With that said, their small appetizer menu is pretty good. Four of us came in a Saturday night and got right in without a reservation. The decor is sort of “fancy rustic”. You seat yourself, so if you go, don’t stand at the stairs awkwardly waiting for someone to come like we did.We ordered a couple of martinis, and some of their appetizers. We tried the steak lettuce wraps, the spinach and feta empanadas, the bruschetta, Mac and cheese and a few more. Everything was really good, but the standouts for me were the bruschetta, the lettuce wraps and the French spring rolls. The Mac and cheese needed a sauce, and the fiesta dip needed a better proportion of chips to dip.Service was really good. I tried the blueberry lemonade and the lemon rosemary martinis. The blueberry martini did not have any muddled blueberries and was a little too sweet for me, but the rosemary martini was perfect. When all is said and done, I would definitely return.Kid-friendliness: This is not a place for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible“

“Absolutely delicious meal and wonderful experience. We made an 8pm reservation and were seated by 7:55. We were here celebrating our anniversary, and could not have chosen a better spot. Matthew, our server, was extremely knowledgeable about the food and drinks menu and provided us with AMAZING service. Raspberry margarita was phenomenal, hot and dirty martini was perfectly made. We started with the bacon wrapped scallops, which were divine. Both of our steaks were perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. The daily vegetables were fresh, and the potatoes delicious. We opted to get the mac and cheese with lobster, which was delicious, and the asparagus with hollandaise, which was awesome as well. All in all, for 2 of us, we spent under $250 before gratuity. Although expensive for 2 people, this was expected and well worth the price for the food & experience. Most certainly will be back for another occasion!Parking: Plenty of options! Street parking is risky, but usually available. However, they provide valet services so no need to worry!“

“I went to the Crown Restaurant with a friend in the early evening, since the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. I am so glad it was! We loved the atmosphere with the beautiful inlay floor, and tasteful setup with the bar and cooking area in designated areas. The atmosphere was alive with chatter and was just a happy place to be. My friend and I each had our own handmade pizza. Enough to share but you might want your own to take some slices home! She had a pizza with veges and garlic sauce. I had a mushroom pizza with delicious soft spreadable garlic, arugula and with truffle salt. (The last pizza on the menu. I would get it again.) We both loved the homemade chewy crust! Get the Cucumber Mocktail! Delicious! Don't forget the cheesecake with a berry sauce, or the caramel flan with a generous amount of raspberries. I am sure that anything you chose on the menu is going to be a tasty experience. Kudos to our waitress, Katrina T. She knew the menu and specials of the day. Great service, Katrina! Thank you for being personable! We hope we'll see you at The Crown again! Thank you!“

“Had a great time here while in town for a conference staying at the Hilton DoubleTree. As a solo diner I didn't feel rushed or unimportant. Great staff and great vibes. Host (manager maybe?) was the best, along with an awesome bartender. On top of that, the drinks were great and so was the food. I got the Basically a Salad (v good!) and a nice Malbec. I got the ribeye for dinner. Perfectly cooked, creative set, and came out fast. All in all will be back when I'm inevitably in the area again next year for the next conference.“

“Located in downtown Manchester, this small restaurant has a lot of personality. The bar was spacious with most tables understandably empty on a Monday afternoon. Our nachos were nothing to brag about, but my friend’s tuna appetizer looked amazing. We were both pleased with the cocktail menu and our selections. I would definitely recommend the Spicy Mango Margarita.Vegetarian options: Shockingly few vegetarian items“

“We ate here for my birthday! The food was fabulous! The ambiance, decor, and staff are all awesome! Everyone was very kind. They are great at explaining the menu, and recommending gluten free food. Everything arrived pretty much together so we were all able to eat together. The Mango lassi is divine!! Highly recommend!! This was the second time I ate here. A friend brought me here for a working lunch once and our experiences was also excellent! We are both gluten intolerant. Neither of us felt unwell nor had any eczema afterward.“

“Highly recommended!Amazing food! The chips and salsa are absolutely the best. Perfectly mixed cocktails. Every server I have ever had has been awesome. One of my favorite restaurants. This particular Margaritas Restaurant use to be a jail. They converted the old jail cells into very nice and comfortable private dining. I researched it online after being seated in one of the jail cells and thought how authentic it looked. That's because it was the Concord Police Headquarters and Jail from 1890 to 1975. It housed prisoners and apparently there is also a ghost named "George" that reportedly haunts this place. I didn't have any paranormal experience myself, lol, but the cells are awesome to dine in.Also during the summer; especially in the evening, the out door dining area is absolutely beautiful. It is perfectly lit with soft white pendant/hanging light bulbs next to a gorgeous water fountain. So you have the option between choosing to dine in the cozy private cells or the romantically lit, beautiful out door setting. It is obvious that the owners and employees really care about this restaurant and put a lot of effort into making it a unforgettable experience. They have gone above and beyond for their customers. I strongly recommend dining here.“

“I honestly never write reviews about places but I just felt compelled because of how amazing our experience was here. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in was amazing. When I walk into a place and they’re playing Sade and frank Sinatra, I knew it was going to be amazing! Starting off, I asked if they could make me a martini with vodka and a fruit as I was up for a surprise and they did not disappoint! It ended up being some sort of banana martini which was interesting and nothing short of delicious. We also got an espresso martini which was amazing as well. Next comes the food; this is tapas style people it does not all come out at the same time! Enjoy sharing the food together!! Anyways we ordered the octopus balls, truffle fries, beef tongue Reuben and BBQ pork belly. I have to say I was shocked. I don’t even have a word for the food because it was beyond spectacular. I’ve never had beef tongue before and was a bit scared to try it but it was amazing. This level of dining and experience could absolutely survive in a bigger city like New York or LA. I found the prices to be extremely reasonable given how fresh and amazing the food was. You’re getting lesser quality of food for more money elsewhere on elm! I think what made the experience most hospitable was when I believe it was the chef came out to greet us and ask how everything was! This was the most unique cuisine I’ve ever seen in the city; well worth the money in my opinion! If there’s one thing Manchester is doing right it’s birch on elm! Kudos!!“

“A little hard to find- apparently you're not supposed to drive down the actual street it's on. Whoops. A tiny basement bar with a wide selection of taps and a set up for live music. I was there for Moon Boot Lover, and when some of us demanded higher vocals, they accommodated us. Good sound system. Bar staff was friendly and it was great to visit a small town bar and be treated like New England does and should treat you. Thanks for the "Boot to the head"!“
