“Worthen House Cafe is one of our fav spot for drinks and food. It is a neighborhood bar with a distinctive decoration.
What do I like about it? I love the pulley ceiling fans, its history as a bar since 1898 and during prohibition and also a fav handout of Jack Karouac. We like to play Keno and have a couple of drinks. Their drinks are very reasonable and their food is outstanding. Their staff is attentive and friendly. They will be featured in the American Best Restaurant TV program.“

“We regularly visit Paddy's and always have a positive experience. Their staff is super friendly and treat their regulars fantastic. The food is standard American bar food, and you get exactly what you expect. We enjoy their Monday night trivia and special events. I also appreciate that they are involved with the community, like opening early after the Turkey Trot. If you are nearby, it's worth a visit.“

“First, I'd like to say I tried contacting Charlie's before I went this route. I didn't get a response. I've been to Charlie's with a group of 8 for lunch. It was very good. We got what we ordered and everything was delivered together. On Friday, 4 of us went there for food and drinks before the Folk Festival. Okay, Corona, I asked for lime. Didn’t get it. No biggie. Two of us ordered hamburgers, one ordered a tuna sandwich, the 4th haddock. Nope, no haddock. Okay, sirloin tips. Nope. Country chicken. Nope and don't know what it is. Okay....I'll have a hamburger. 15 minutes after (mind you 25 minutes have already passed), sorry. no buns. How about white bread! 40 minutes after initial order, hamburger on white bread and something resembling a tuna sandwich (?) arrives. We felt sorry for the waitress. But definitely poor service. I'm sorry I have to post this, I like helping local businesses, but lack of listed items was horrible.“

“Our favorite place!! Merrimack location is truly the best. We always have loved ❤️ every dish. We love to cook at home and let me tell ya, only restaurant that pleases us 100 percent! Delicious bread basket ( homemade hot buttered rolls) with chocolate chip bread tonight. Cheese and crackers out of this world! Haddock tonight topped with lobster, 🦞 baked potato and broccoli. “It's always a little weird to walk through Whole Foods to go to a bar, but the tap list at J. Bartlett's is genuinely one of the best in Southern NH. They feature several dozen beers on draft, most of them from local brewers, and while they do have the typical abundance of hoppy IPAs they also have things like pilsner, helles, porters, and stouts, enough to make up a few different flights of non-IPAs. The vibe is very relaxed, and you can have food while you enjoy a drink. I wish it were a little bit larger so it didn't feel so much like a vestigial limb to the Whole Foods it's connected to, but overall it's a great little spot.“

“Renegade’s is a great place. You can’t beat the burgers and even better are the prices. They always have a great selection of 16 rotating craft beers on tap along with plenty in bottles/cans along with a full bar. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My family and I have been many times and never leave unsatisfied.“
