I just tasted one of the worst meals of my life. Did a takeout order of Broiled Sea scallops that looked more like bay scallops swimming in a container of lemon juice. The juice was so plentiful I couldn’t even taste the little scallops. The chowder was more like potato soup too heavy on the Flour.

Wow! The Puritan Backroom was out to impress yesterday. We chose to order from them for our daughter and son in laws “I Do BBQ”. So much food! So delicious! Everyone was very happy with everything. There was way more than expected! Thank you!

The Puritan Backroom Restaurant is a well-loved spot in the community, known for its delicious food and friendly service. The dining room has a warm and welcoming feel, making it a favorite for many. The menu features a variety of tasty options, including the famous chicken tenders, which are crispy on the outside and juicy inside, often served with sweet and savory duck sauce. The restaurant also offers other favorites like onion rings and fries that are perfectly crispy and flavorful. The corn chowder is praised for being hot and fresh-tasting, with the right kind of soup crackers served alongside. While the door can be difficult to open and the moose tracks ice cream is sometimes softer than expected, the restaurant is kid-friendly and provides plenty of napkins. Service is friendly and quick, even when busy. The atmosphere is full of local charm, and many visitors say it’s a place they return to often. The ice cream is homemade and considered the best treat. Overall, the Puritan Backroom is a great place to eat, with a welcoming environment and consistently good food.
