“On our weekend trip for the Eclipse, we stopped here for dinner and it was SO GOOD!!!!! I got the maple bacon and my husband got one with lots of meat. Both were amazing. Everyone- including the customers- are so kind & welcoming! The beers were so yummy to- my Alagash cureux from tap was INCREDIBLE also! There was really cool live music too. The store being connected was very convenient! I ended up buying a piece of art on the wall :)They are very busy so get there early or plan to do takeout!Will be back on a future trip!”

“This place is a quintessential, family owned VT diner with great breakfast at reasonable prices! The hospitality was great and the staff were very friendly. Pretty big menu with lots of choices. I had their breakfast sandwich with egg, ham and cheese on a home made onion bagel and it was delicious.”

“Now, that’s how you make a cake!Bentley’s Bakery became my favorite when I bought a birthday cake from them last week. They’re the best when it comes to cakes and other baked items. The person is really sweet and appreciable, and helps you as much as she can. The cake in itself was one of the most delicious ones that we’d had in a long time. Do place an order in advance and she’ll make it tailored just for you! This is one that I’d recommend anyone traveling around the place.”

“I drive from Bethlehem to get their half gallon of The Road Runner coffee. It is SO good. The perfect blend of flavors. I get one for my ride home too. I love how welcoming and kind the owners are. They always have good conversation and locally crafted goods to share. Their coffee is such a delicious and energizing addition to my work days during the week. It is take out only, not a cafe. If you have a chance to use the bathroom, check out the picture on the wall, it is such a vibe and says a lot about the kind of energy this place puts out into their community ??THANK YOU LOCALLY SOCIAL ?”

“The grilled cheese was delicious and the chips were very nice. My friend ordered it with kimchi and we were both satisfied. I ordered a coke as well and he ordered a beer and enjoyed it. It was not too noisy as they were only open for the eclipse. Service was relatively fast. Overall would rate a 10/10, would eat here again”

“The pizza is bang on perfect. The crust is crisp on the bottom but chewy on the inside. The sauce is tangy but not over powering. The cheese is just right. The current owner took over in July 2023 but has kept the place as it was known and loved and keeps the place very clean in here. She's polite and sweet. The seating is classic house of pizza seating. You can grab a booth for yourself and a few friends or put a bunch of tables together for bigger parties. This is your lunch spot when you're visiting St. Johnsbury!”

“The BEST pizza I've ever had and I'm a gal from Providence RI. We know pizza! More pizza places in RI than New York! Lol. I also love their Italian sub. The man who owns it and his son are very kind and welcoming. The restaurant is always very clean too. It's my go to pizza spot up there. Amazing crust, great sauce and quality cheese and toppings. The girl Tiffany who said the sauce "has no flavor'' is nuts - probably a local competitor trying to bad- mouth this establishment. Try it for yourself. “Food is generously portioned and delicious. Always hot and when it is takeout it comes as it should; fully sauced, accurate, and packaged well! I do not eat in as it is not in an uncomfortable area of town. The building, although clean inside, is old and not my favorite eat in spot for this type of food.Parking: Across the road. “Decided to try out something new and was not disappointed. I got two sushi rolls here (The Spicy California and The Dragon) Both were very good and had a lot of flavor. The Staff was super friendly and had a great attitude. Theres no interior dining but the ambiance was very welcoming. My only complaint was that the wasabi was a little questionable. The pickled ginger however was fantastic. I will definitely be back here.”

“This is such a cool culinary program. It is great to see students learning and experiencing how to work in the restaurant industry. The food is always creative, love how they use local products, and you can see the students in action in the kitchen as well. I recommend making a reservation as they are only open for lunch during the school year.”

“I regularly visit Amatos and Maplefields store. everyone is always really friendly. The food is good and the place keeps good consistency for being inside of a gas station. Definitely recommend. I prefer The original Italian. Really good experience every time.”

“We drove about 2 hours to get there. And now im MAD!!! Because it was so good and its so far away!!! We will definitely be back!!!! We got the village supreme pizza and it was fantastic!!! The crust is perfection not too thick or chewy, just right. And the toppings are fresh and yum!!! We demolished that pizza there in the restaurant then got 2 more for takeout for dinner. They did an amazing job on my weird combo pepperoni and pickle pizza!!!”

“Great experience during the Eclipse weekend! Didn't want anything too heavy, so headed here for a salad and taco. The salad was very large and was perfect to share. The flavors were very great and everything tasted fresh. We went with the carnitas tacos, which were juicy (make sure you add the tomatillo salsa) and had a good orange rind flavor that complemented the carnitas. Also, the tap list is great. Got a flight of Hill Farmstead which is a huge treat. While the food was really good (so happy!) I think the service was even better. Our server was attentive, diligent, and very accommodating for my friend who has severe allergies. The answer was always, yep, we've got you, not a problem! Really happy to see my friend have a great experience and get some exceptionally tasty food. You should go here.”

“The online ordering was super easy to use, and the prices were very reasonable for how much food you get. We got the sweet and sour chicken and general tso's chicken with pork fried rice and white rice. Overall it was really delicious especially the general tso's and the rice. The chicken batter was a bit soggy and the sweet and sour sauce was a little more liquid than we are used to but still tasted great. Will definitely be ordering take out again!”
