“We ate lunch at Himalaya Curry House for the first time this afternoon. We highly recommend. The food was phenomenal-excellent Northern Indian cuisine. (I don’t like Southern Indian cuisine. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are very generous and we both went home with enough left over for another entire meal. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, basmati rice spiced with Cumin. My daughter had the Black Pepper chicken, same rice and we shared a side of Aloo Gobi cauliflower florets in a spicy, creamy sauce. There was complimentary chutneys (3 different flavors served with pita crackers. My patient’s family is from Northern India and the mom cooks exquisite Indian food. Fed me home made dinner every work night. That is how I was introduced to spectacular Northern Indian food , so I have a good palate for high quality. The atmosphere is average. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful assisting us with our choices. We will definitely go back again to try different entrees. The menu is extensive!“

“We were in town for one night for a show. This was some of the best Indian food we have had, and we eat out frequently in Boston. The vegetarian menu was very robust, plenty of gluten free options, and they were cognizant of my nut allergy. Service was fast - food was out quickly but we didn’t feel rushed. A truly hidden gem!“

“A Longtime Local Favorite with a Recent Menu Hurdle We have been coming to Chowsratha in Nashua since the day they opened. As a vegetarian family, this has consistently been our go-to spot for authentic flavors. What We Love The food here is truly excellent. The Masala Dosas and Mysore Dosas are standout items that we order every time. We also love the Chana Masala, which is always flavorful and perfectly prepared. The Disappointment Unfortunately, we’ve run into a recent issue that has been very frustrating. For a long time, we enjoyed getting Palak with an aloo (potato) substitute, but we were recently told that this is no longer an option. It is very disappointing that a simple substitution for Aloo Palak can't be made or added to the menu, especially since the kitchen clearly has the ingredients on hand for their Aloo Gobi and various chaats. Verdict We love the food and have been loyal customers for years, but the lack of flexibility for a long-standing request is a major letdown. We really hope management considers adding Aloo Palak to the menu permanently so we can continue enjoying our favorite dish!“

“What an unexpected gem in an otherwise pretty sad outlet mall food court. The proprietor was so friendly and welcoming, and the food was outstanding. We've had our fair share of Indian/Nepalese/Pakistani cuisine, and Curry Bites definitely holds its own. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back given the opportunity.“
