We arrived for an early dinner (5 pm) and were able to get a window table with a beautiful view of the harbor. My wife and I shared a house salad with sesame vinaigrette dressing, a bowl of clam chowder, and the roasted haddock with lobster mashed potatoes. Every dish exceeded our expectations. The roasted haddock really stood out- it was cooked perfectly with a butter/cornichon pan sauce and a surprising amount of lobster in the mashed potatoes. Our server did an excellent job. This restaurant is highly recommended. They do not take reservations.“

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.“

“Third year update - this place continues to delight and amaze! Tried the butter toffee cake, equally great. All the pizzas are spectacular.
This is the second year in a row we had an early dinner here, and once again it was amazing.
All the dishes have a special touch to them, something unique and delectable.
The pizzas are spectacular, with wood fired char on the crust. The sandwiches are equally wonderful, each with perfectly balanced spices.
My special of the day spicy martini was one of the best I ever tasted, potent yet eminently drinkable.
The desserts are out of this world, especially the brownie sundae.
The service was terrific as well. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
Looking forward to next year!

We ordered hey guy burger and the fish tacos with hot fries, best food I have had in the states, coming from a Peruvian, I am super picky with flavor and this place did not disappoint. I had to do take out because they dont allow pets, so if you come with your doggie there is a park next to it where you can have a picnic“

“I never write reviews but this place is AMAZING! My mom & I stopped in for crepes, we had a sweet one and a savory one and also a tart and vanilla ice coffees. Everything was perfection and tasted great! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere very nice. “A very pleasant choice for simple breakfast. Family run diner with lots of charm and personality. We had the pancakes and the Korean bbq Benedict. I wouldn’t have thought bulgolgi beef would go well with hollandaise - but I was wrong. Not fancy, but plenty friendly and worth the visit for breakfast!“
