“If you haven't been to the new location of Fresh AF, you need to run, don't walk!! Everything you get will be amazing!! I have been twice in 2 days- and this will just be my review for today! I finally was able to get some pictures before we ate it all! First, the new place is beautiful. Taryn did a great job, to create a warm, and welcoming place. Everyone is friendly, even when there are lines- which yes, sometimes there are- they move very quickly, the staff is excellent, and they move everyone along quickly. The cases are filled with mouthwatering sweet and savory treats, from croissants, hand pies, cupcakes, to tarts, to macarons, to donut pops, and multiple rotating items. New introductions in the grab and go section I have tried today, and can vouch for! On today's list of goodies, I bought us, a potato skin hand pie- oh my. You will want more than one!! So incredibly good- it is like a twice baked potato, with bacon, cheese, chives and some sour cream on top of a croissant like crust. (I am not a baker so forgive me for my non technical terms))! I also bought a veggie hand pie, and a Fenway hand pie- sausage, peppers, and onions. Yum! The strawberry shortcake stuffed donut was to die for! It was devoured in less than 3 minutes by us. The homemade whipped cream is ridiculously good! I lied- I will also tell you about the trifles that I have bought on my past 2 weekends. The first weekend was a strawberry shortcake (?) trifle, and last weekend a blueberry cheesecake trifle. Oh. My. God. There went the diet. The whipped cream did me in. Lastly, I bought the chopped Italian salad with burrata. It is so good!! That was my dinner today, it was so filling, and oh, and the burrata with the hot pepper jam on it was just fantastic!! Seriously, I am so happy she moved to Plaistow! This place is AMAZING!! *Just to note, this review is a few weeks old, it is my Yelp Review :) However, I can add my Quiche from this morning was outstanding!!!!“

“Partner always enjoys their beer selection and I really appreciate what flavorful bites they offer for truly a fair price (never leave us gigantic $12 smash burger!) The Korean shredded beef taco as a rice bowl was incredible and we have heard nothing but good things from the rest of the menu. Plus, the person who delivered our food this afternoon was really nice and it came quite quickly after ordering!“

“The Freedom Cafe has been my go-to place this year. The people are so welcoming and friendly. Angie is always all smiles and somehow remembers most of the patrons' names (how does she do that??). I love the ambiance - good music and great vibes. Amazing drinks (the Almond Joy latte and the tiramisu latte are both oh so good!) and delicious healthy fresh food (my favorite is the 2-egg omelet with pico de gallo and spinach). Durham is so lucky to have this place. I will continue to make the drive from Dover.“

I just drove through Aroma Joe’s with my two dogs, and I had the nicest experience with a girl named Ria. She was professional, kind, and so sweet with my dogs — she even gave them a pup treat with whipped cream and a biscuit. They never eat that kind of thing, but they absolutely loved it!

We talked for a minute about her future, and she shared that she wants to be a cosmetologist someday. It is so inspiring to see a 16-year-old with that much direction, confidence, and genuine kindness.

Ria, keep up the good work — you’re going places. I can already tell.✨

The real test was the quality of the food, which turned out to not disappoint at all! My brother-in-law who served as a cook in the Navy has a tendency to be a bit judging and particular about his food, when eating out. This was the very first time in all ours years I have ever witnessed him being completely impressed with his meal. He could not give enough compliments. When it came time to need to host a private event here I couldn't be happier with how Kate and her team handled everything. Kate cares and it showed from our first conversation, during the meeting to plan, communication in between and wrapping things up after the event. Her staff working the event were also very friendly, efficient and kept things running smoothly. You can absolutely trust her and her team to handle your event. “I was at Aroma Joe’s the other day and I had a great experience. The girl working was so nice to me and made my drink and food so well. She even asked me about my vacation and we bonded over it and realized that we were at the same resort in the Bahamas. My hot chai was steamed to perfection and she even added my dairy free milk.
