“Great menu, great food, (They bake those muffins every day and they are devine!) great service. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so we are able to take our pup. The wait can be long on weekend summer mornings (10-15 minutes) but we used our time at the next door dog park while waiting. Unique local specials (Lobsters, blueberries, and crabs, Oh my!) and delicious coffee and teas. Try their blood orange juice freshly squeezed! You will not be sorry!“

“We cannot recommend For The Love of Food and Drink enough — they were absolutely incredible from start to finish and worth every single penny. The service was truly top notch, and the food was phenomenal. We chose a BBQ menu, and to this day we still have guests talking about how amazing it was. We even had a family member from Texas say it was the best BBQ he’s ever had, which says everything. Beyond the food, we also utilized their wedding day-of coordination services, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They made the entire day run so smoothly and handled every detail so we could truly enjoy ourselves. As soon as we finished the ceremony and were ready for photos, they had drinks waiting for us — such a small touch that meant so much. During cocktail hour while we were taking pictures, they made sure we didn’t miss out by bringing us trays of hors d’oeuvres and personally serving us so we could enjoy everything. They continuously checked in to make sure we, our families, and our guests had everything we needed. At the end of the night, they packed everything up beautifully for us, including leftovers and the top of our cake, making it so easy to grab the next day. The level of care, professionalism, and thoughtfulness they showed was unmatched. We truly cannot say enough good things about For The Love of Food and Drink and cannot wait to use them again for future events. They played such a huge role in making our wedding day absolutely perfect.“

“Had a FABULOUS dinner at the cellar pub. The host and staff were friendly and nice to chat with. EVERYTHING we ordered was great: artichoke dip and lobster corn chowder for apps. The menu is hugely accommodating for gluten free folks and lots of items to choose from. Dinner was market lobster and seared scallops with polenta- and it was outstanding. I’m from Massachusetts and am skeptical when ordering seafood out- hoping it’s fresh and this was really outstanding! They also had a fabulous list of cocktails, mocktails and local beers on tap. For dessert we opted to have the flourless chocolate cake and a few drinks up front by the fireplace and that was a great way to end our night. Great food and great staff- highly recommend!!“

“My family and I love Cape Neddick Lobster pound. We always have 3-5 children with us everytime we go, the kids love getting their kids meals in a cute boat and at the end of the meal the children can pick a prize out of their treasure chest!!! The high ceilings and large windows make for the best views with Super cozy vibes in the winter! Always super clean, staff is always so nice and very attentive! Every meal we had our food comes out perfectly with 0 complaints! Some of our favorites are the warm pretzels, the mussels, Caesar salad with steak, and my absolute favorite is the seafood pasta! 10/10 !!“

“the service and atmosphere are average. Its well kept and clean. No Christmas deals really. So the store part was disappointing.
But.... The Cafe was really good. And the Lobster BLT was awesome. Its wicked big. And enough for 2 people. I didnt pay attention to the price. But I think it was kind of expensive. But with the amount of Lobster. It was definitely worth it.“

“Birthday dinner in an ice shack in January — definitely a first, and a great experience.

I’ll be honest, I was a little confused at first because it was something totally new, but once we settled in, it turned into a really fun and memorable experience.

The atmosphere was cozy, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious from start to finish. As a local Realtor, I’m always telling people that it’s places like this that make living and spending time in Kennebunkport so special — especially in the winter.

Definitely a unique experience and one I’d recommend if you’re looking for something a little different.

“This is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful to have found it. I got the Monstah Lobstah roll and it certainly lived up to its name. It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. “Very belated review - I was in Maine with friends for a wedding in Oct of 2024. None of us are from coastal areas, so we were excited to try some seafood that would be fresh and this little place was one of our stops!

I don't remember what everyone else ordered, nor can I speak for them - but I got their coconut shrimp and was AMAZED! They were by far, the most delicious shrimp I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection, breaded just right, and melted in my mouth. If you have the chance to try them - please do! I live across the country and still think about them and wish I could get more.“
