“We had a great hibachi experience and the food was incredible. They can accommodate vegetarian options which was perfect since my family has a varied preference. We had Tora as our chef and he was probably the best hibachi chef we’ve ever had. The food was as good as the performance. My children thought he was a magician. Kobe is a gem and not to be missed when you’re in Maine.“

“It’s really a hit or a miss. I’ve been to this Starbucks over 100 times and 90 percent of the time my drinks come out very good but other times I get these disgusting drinks for example one time I asked for 2 pumps of this apple fall syrup and the drink tasted like straight syrup. Sometimes there is also a bad chai to milk ratio sometimes to much chai sometimes to much milk same goes with refreshers the same drink is a different shade each time and all the workers have a different opinion on what light ice is other then that this Starbucks is pretty great.“

Being alone with a well-behaved dog is challenging since most dog friendly places really don’t make it easy unless you have a second human to order and coordinate while you manage your dog. This place takes dog friendliness to a whole new level and the food, atmosphere, and service were top-notch.

I know my dog is the most adorable dog in the whole wide world, but every single person that worked there came to say hello and the moment I sat down, they brought a bucket of water for her. The oysters were fresh off the mud flats that I could see from my table, the beer was local, cold, and served quickly, and the avocado crab salad is hands-down one of The best salads I’ve had even though it was simple because everything was so fresh and delicious. I have every intention of visiting this establishment every time I visit Scarborough/Old Orchard Beach. This is truly a gem.“

“This is the most efficient ice cream shop I've ever been too. There were probably about a dozen employees or so who were quickly taking and making orders. There are several walk up windows with separate lines. They also have a well designed drive thru window which reminded me of a chic fil a drive thru. They had a very friendly employee walking outside with a tablet who went from car to car taking orders and payments as you were waiting in line, then you drive to the pickup window to get your order. It was very busy around 8:30pm when I went and the drive thru line was so fast despite several cars being in front of me. I ordered a large dugout sundae with oreo and coffee oreo ice cream. It was excellent and a reasonable price for the size of the portion. I will definitely be back the next time I'm craving ice cream.“

“We recently had two visits. My first meal of fried clams-delicious. On our second visit we had a lobster roll. Stay away from them. Absolutely awful. I’m a Maine gal and this was the worst lobster roll ever. Sterns- you can do better, especially at 38$ !!“

“I’ve been in Kennebunkport, before Batson was Baton ( when it was Tias Topside). Since Batson becoming the spot for locals and visitors alike, I’ve had nothing but great experiences. The music, energy, and most of all the people, are the reason me and my friends/ family come back. They play the best music, have friendly staff, and really know how to make you feel “at home”. I would say people could come here for a conversation and they would be satisfied. However, the food, the atmosphere, and drinks are more than that, they are peak Kennebunkport. “Sebago Brewing has great beer and food in a convenient location in Kennebunk Maine. They even offer barley wine and cocktails fast and friendly. Its a local gathering spot but convenient if you are trust passing through. A very easy going vibe will be found here with $5 22oz draft beer 🍺 Wednesdays.“

“We went to Blaze Pizza in Portland Maine today. What a great experience. They overheard us mention it was my son’s birthday and when we were almost finished, they brought us free deserts and said did we hear it’s someone’s birthday? The staff was so amazingly sweet. So welcoming. I can’t say enough great things about this first time experience.“

“After reading a mix of positive and negative reviews, we decided to give Tiki Bar a try ourselves. The food was excellent! But the biggest surprise was the service. In a busy, seat-yourself restaurant, it would be easy for things to fall through the cracks, we saw two women working an entire patio and they didn’t miss.

Anna was our server, and she was exceptional. She offered great recommendations, drinks never empty, and even noticed when my child’s water needed to be refilled. A couple next to us had a complaint about a dish and it was handled flawlessly.

While the food was very good (get the mussels and the haddock sandwich) the standout part of the experience was the service and the atmosphere. It was genuinely impressive to watch. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Cowbell Scarborough surpasses expectations every time I visit. The servers are friendly, attentive and polite. The food is 95% of the time correct, and if it’s not correct it is quickly resolved. Accountability is always appreciated and in this restaurant it’s certainly valued by the front of house. If you had a poor experience before, I’d recommend trying again!“
