“We just had out winter get together with our campground friends Saturday night. We had about 55 people. I met with the owner to make arrangements and make sure it would all work out a few weeks beforehand. Gianna was our waitress and she was amazing!! Top notch in fact!! The food was delicious. The drinks stayed full while we waited for the food. They apologized a few times about the wait as they said the kitchen had gotten backed up but none of us noticed. Great time was had by all!“

She was warm, engaging, and exceptionally knowledgeable, with that rare ability to know her subject thoroughly without making it feel like a lecture. She kept the tour lively, welcomed questions, and shared the story and craft behind Allagash with genuine enthusiasm and a great sense of humor. You can visit a brewery for the beer, but the person leading the tour often determines how much you remember about it afterward. Delia made ours memorable. “I had a Thanksgiving sandwich there the other day. Whole grain bread was good, the turkey was good, but the "stuffing" was cold. The sandwich was just NOT hot enough. The cranberry mayo is fair. It should have a scoop of warm actual cranberry sauce, not mayo. The stuffing detracted from the idea and taste of the sandwich. Incidentally, the prep and service were quick (too quick). Hey, maybe a pickle slice or two would be nice.“

“Cowbell Scarborough surpasses expectations every time I visit. The servers are friendly, attentive and polite. The food is 95% of the time correct, and if it’s not correct it is quickly resolved. Accountability is always appreciated and in this restaurant it’s certainly valued by the front of house. If you had a poor experience before, I’d recommend trying again!“

“We just left there after having the fried whole belly clams. Absolutely delicious! It’s the cutest place to hang out and have some great seafood. The staff is friendly too! We had gone to another(big)place in the area the night before and we were very disappointed . Luckily we found the Salty Bay! today! I love the seating out back with the beautiful view and the Tavern on site where they serve drinks is great. Nice set up! We’ll be back!“
