“The service is always super friendly. The ice cream is delicious and serving sizes are HUGE! It can be a cluster turning back out onto 302 but the ice cream is so worth it. Definitely get their waffle cones dipped in chocolate with Sprinkles. The seating is good and the grass area is helpful when bringing little ones that need to get some energy out.“

“Of all the bakeries and coffee shops my husband and I tried on our trip to Portland, Tamdem was our favorite! The Americano was delicious and the salted coconut maple scone was one of the best I've ever had with the perfect crunchy texture on the outside and soft inside. I also tried the blood orange scone, which tasted a bit pithy to me. There was a line at 11:00 on a Saturday, but it moved quickly and there was plenty of seating outside.“

“Really super delicious! My husband is from the middle east and this meal was homey and amazing to celebrate his birthday. We are definitely hard critics when it comes to middle eastern food and this exceeded our expectations. Perfect balance of flavors not too overpowering spices but not bland by any means. Probably our new favorite spot for pita pockets and will definitely be back often. Also a great price point and a good amount of food. Cant say enough good things! “Great brewery! We stopped in on the way to the airport. A lot of IPAs and hoppy beers (not our thing) but we still found yummy beers. Taproom is outside in a heated tent and they have little tent/cubbies with their own heaters. I would love to drink beers here on a random day when it is dumping outside.Lots of merch. Good Food truck. Kids loved grilled cheese, burger. Hook/string game outside. Super friendly staff at the bar and merch area.Would love to come back on our next trip to Maine!“

“Foundation Brewing is a fantastic delight. We had the opportunity to meet one of the four owners tonight and she was so friendly. Tina runs the tasting room, if you see her while you're enjoying the beer or pizza... make sure to ask her some questions about her hometown (Detroit, MI) or how Foundation Brewing came to be a local micro-brew.The pizza is a light, fluffy and crunchy exploration in all the best ways you could imagine. I think this brewery is getting the absolute most out of what space they have to work with and their staff is so friendly/helpful/patient. I'm committing myself to returning over and over and being (hopefully) a regular :)10/10 would recommend to anybody in and around the Portland/Westbrook city line.“

“This was the final spot on our trip before we separated from our Boston friends after an awesome October weekend and they headed home. “A lovely vibrant farm just 10 minutes from the maine mall. Cozy with delicious sandwiches, Mac n cheese, ice cream, and other goodies at very reasonable prices. The farm includes an assortment of animals including cows, sheep, emus, deer, chickens, deer, llama, pigs, and more! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about animal husbandry as well. An absolute gem and a must stop on your way through greater portland.“

“Just came out and wanted to write a review in the car. We came here back when it first opened and decided to give it another try since it's been several years. I'm glad we did. I had their IPA to go with my Bang Bang Chicken wrap, my wife had the same beer with a Chicken Banh mi sandwich. The food was delicious! For just simple sandwiches they packed a lot of flavor. With a side of fantastic fries to split we left plenty full and happy. I gave the IPA 4 out of 5 stars, there are so many good beers now! Oh and we tried the homemade hot sauce and ended up buying a bottle. So good and the heat keeps coming as you dip your fries into it! South Portland is a nice little village now! It's nice to see this side of town growing into a nice place to visit.“

“Marking off another Portland, Maine brewery... Definitive Brewing Company! This time Steve and myself dove into sour territory and it was a good experience for sure! The Late Nite: Triple Berry Pie was the sour that we had and enjoyed fairly well. Flavor features with this sour is berries, sourness, vanilla, cinnamon and fruitiness. It's a stronger sour and comes in around an 8 on ABV. It's a fairly sweet tasting beer as well aside from the main flavor highlights but on this occasion it was OK. The flavors blended together well and made it a good sipping beer even though preferably it's not something I want to drink very often.“

“I have always loved the Bite Into Maine food truck at the light house. I was so excited to go to this location! I tried the 3 flavors mini lobster rolls this time! Yummy and fresh as always!! “Best of Portland Brewery and Spirits Bus Tour – Three of StrongThree of Strong is a rum distillery, bar, and tasting room. Rum is any spirit made from a sugar cane plant which makes is very versatile. Three of Strong uses all organic ingredients that include sugar cane, molasses, slow fermenting yeast and locally sourced water. They do not use any artificial flavors or colors.I enjoyed the tour and of the distillery and learned about the process for making rum.After their tasting session, I found their spiced rum to be one of the best I have ever had. It was smooth and the delivered very flavorful finish when drinking it straight.If you are in Portland, ME, make sure you stop in or visit by going on the “Best of Portland Brewery and Spirits Bus” Tour.“

“Hidden gem alert in So Portland! Kelly's is in the back corner of a strip mall, but is an amazing place for sandwiches, salads, and sweets! The salads are huge and filling. I had the chef salad which had rolls of turkey, ham, provolone cheese, and an egg along with fresh vegetables. I could only eat half and had to stop. Don't miss the sweets! Best molasses cookie I have had- crispy edge, buttery taste, and big enough to share (but why would you want to??) Kelly's also does breakfast sandwiches, and daily specials. Their only webpage is their Facebook page which will list the daily specials. Thursdays are apparently also flatbread day, and there were several freshly made flatbreads available for purchase. The cooler stocks take home food and quick salads/sandwiches with no wait. Highly recommend Kelly's for a yummy lunch!“

“This was my first visit . It's a nice clean restaurant and seafood market that doesn't smell like one. The employees are friendly and helpful . Before visiting I did call because I was unsure if they had a place to eat in . My guest had coffee and they said it was great ! We both ordered combination plates of haddock and scallops with onion rings . We were served ice water when we were sat. That was nice . They had premium quality napkins and plastic cutlery . The haddock was amazing ! Along with the onion rings ! Perfect ! The scallops were huge ! But very wet so they were not crispy . I asked . So I was hoping to get bacon wrapped scallops or a lobster dinner which was not on the menu . They do sell live lobsters in tanks . Although the breading didn't have much flavor the oil they used tasted very clean . No after taste . We ordered a cup of seafood chowder to try but we're too full. Would liked to have seen more onion rings for the up charge as they were delish ! I will be back for sure ! Next time I'll try the steamed lobster dinner or the Maine man lobster roll ! Blueberry habanero sauce ! Yum ! Ps I'd prefer tartar sauce in individual cups instead of large squeeze bottles used over and over. On table room temp then in fridge then out and in . Mayo spoils . That would probably be the biggest complaint and other places do it as well. My guest said the pickles were good !“

“We bought soft shell medium live lobsters, they were 11.99 a pound today. They were extremely lively, fresh and delicious. Flesh was pretty firm and filled within the shells. The service staff was extremely helpful and explained size and hard shell vs soft shell to us. The shop was clean“

“Another great brewery in Portland. They don't have flights which I don't love but you can get small pours of all their beers. They have some wine options as well if you aren't into beer. They serve some snacks but typically have a food truck on site. I'm not a huge beer fan but when they have a sour I typically get it. Large inside and outside seating area, which is great for big groups. They also have corn hole. A fun brewery to stop at, with lots of parking out back as well.“

“Wow. This place is absolutely wonderful. Went here for the first time ever on a date with my boyfriend. The food was so delicious and seasoned to perfection. The dessert we got was divine and the service was excellent. This is a great place to go on a little fancy dinner with your partner or to have a celebratory dinner. And the drinks are made so delicious.We got lucky and actually had a table available Saturday night, but it was packed for the most part. 11/10 will go here again.“

“Got some takeout from here last night. Ordered a variety of dishes to see how things tasted and to offer my 2 teen kids a few options. It was all fantastic! Ordered the chicken shawarma and beef shawarma sandwiches, gyro sandwich, lamb shank plate, beef shawarma salad, and baklava. They included a bowl of smooth tasty lentil curry on the house. I tasted everything. It was all fantastic. I was particularly surprised on how good the lamb shank was and the large portion they gave, as well as how many tomatoes they put in the salad. The lamb shank was on the bone,not shredded. All of the vegetables were fresh and crisp. Everything well seasoned. Their prices are really fair in my opinion. I’m going back soon. I have to try their falafel and hummus.“

“A few days ago, my teenage son and I ate at Docks Seafood for a late lunch. We were thoroughly pleased with our entire experience and had to share!I ordered the haddock sandwich and fries. Yum! Yum! My son ordered the haddock nuggets and fries. We both loved our meals. Everything came out fresh, flavorful and hot. I ate every single thing on my plate. The piece of haddock was huge and served on a lightly toasted bun. It was pure bliss. Their homemade tarter sauce goes perfectly with their seafood. I just couldn't stop eating their french fries. They were perfectly salted.My son loved his haddock nuggets. It's always great to see him eat food that he loves. Our waitress was awesome and she was heavily rewarded for all her awesomeness.We can't wait to go back to Docks Seafood. We left with a baked item for dessert because we were too full from our meal to eat anymore. It was a whoopie pie. Soooo good!Also, the owner came to our table to talk to us and he was super sweet. ?Kid-friendliness: My two kiddos (ages 12 and 15) love the menu options. There's something for everyone.“

“This was a small tasting room compared to most other breweries I’ve visited in the past. However, this is where size really doesn’t matter as it boils down to the potency and flavor of their brews. I have never heard of them previously (also did not even know they were the first NE craft brewery) but noticed patrons walking in and out from the other side of the street. I asked a local friend that I was with and he simply told me to go get a flight in, which I did not hesitate in the least to do.Definitely was worth checking out when in the area. There were a bunch of locals hanging out in there with various brews in their hands. They were obviously proud of the place and welcomed me in as I ordered two flights to taste most of what they had to offer. $20 to taste 8 brews with lovely locals to chat with? Absolutely worth it.Good stuff. Definitely stop by if you’re traveling through.“

“Great local brewery in Portland, love the friendly neighborhood feel here. Lots of open seating inside and out. Smaller bar inside with picnic tables. On nice days, the side wall opens up for more seating outside. Lot's of food trucks all lined up outside when we were there. Great options. Nice variety of beers on draft, they have flights available. I tried there machine, evergreen IPA and gold leaf. Very tasty and flavorful.“

Once you order (from the pretty rude) dude behind the counter, you pick up your food and drink, bus and clean your table. “One of my favorite breweries in the nation let alone Maine. Always awesome staff and great taste in art and beer. However since they went exclusively to an outdoor cart for food purchases, instead of letting people bring in or deliver food from the many decent nearby restaurants- I think the experience has gone downhill. The cart used to be good too when it was a popup, but now that it's permanent their menu has gotten worse and so has their service.It makes me less likely to visit, knowing I will have to plan around meals at different locations or buy food I won't enjoy. There are a lot of good Westbrook restaurants with a diverse range of cuisines, I have enjoyed trying while also patronizing Mast Landing- being forced to instead forever eat from a very slow and mediocre food cart now, just feels wrong, and doesn't really match the brewery's carefully curated brand. I hope this gets fixed soon because I think Mast Landing is a great addition to downtown Westbrook, the right blend of relaxing and cutting edge- I don't want any reason to look elsewhere!“

“Ry & I first starting going to Sebago in the town of Gorham in our mid to late 20's (since 2012). We would play in our wkly soccer league and go with our soccer crew after. My go to drink back then was a pain killer! 11 years later here we are and we still love going to Sebago to grab a beer & a burger on random nights as a couple or as a family! Even though they don't have pain killers on the menu the staff are always willing to make one! ? Fav beer is Haze Fwd but they always have a great rotation on tap!They recently renovated the place about a year ago! We thought they were going to close when the brewery opened but were so happy when they decided to stay open bc let's face it they have plenty of locals that love them including us! Feels like home here! We love the ppl, the locals, the food, & the environment!! ??“

“I've been a fan of Bissell Brothers since the early days, when they were still in the industrial park. I'm so surprised I haven't done a review yet. I loved Bissell Brothers from the beginning and there has never been another beer that has been able to top Substance. I can't believe how far they've come and how much if they've grown.
