“Very good & many varieties of ice cream, but unfortunately, since we went only two days before it closed for the season, there was not much left. My husband‘s favorite pistachio ice cream was all out. So he had coffee ice cream & said it was very good but he felt no better than some others he’s tried. My mint chip was very good as well.“

“Nothing but good things to say about this place! The drinks and food are absolutely phenomenal. Pain killer and the shrimp bowl - chefs kiss. On top of the food being great, atmosphere is cool & service is exactly what you want to see in a restaurant. We went for the first time and bottom line, there was a delay in our service. Once she realized, she made up for it with a good attitude, made us a specialty shot on the house and gave us recommendations around the seacoast. Really great way to approach customers and leave them with a good impression. It’s great to have more local, good eats here in Rye.“

“This place was jumping!! Line wrapped fully around the counter and out the door! And their food explains why! From their pastries to their pizza everything was so tasty! We also got this sausage with jalapeño and cheddar cheese wrapped in a melt in your mouth croissant! It was so delicious! I ate all my food before thinking of taking a picture because it was that tasty! oh ya, and don’t forget to try one of their house made crullers!“

“Breakfast sandwiches are excellent and the woman working there was so nice! My husband really enjoyed his latte. Bonus you could order online and everything was waiting for us. We then went next door to the Belle Farm gift shop and that was very impressive. It had a lot of unique items. The woman working there was also incredibly nice! Looking forward to returning to both places!“

“Everything is great, especially the rice cake appetizer (I expected Korean rice cakes like in ttekbokki, but they're little cubes of rice seared on the sides; we got them with duck but they would be just as good without it) and, obviously, the noodles. But in particular, don't sleep on the hot sauce -- Fresno chiles are one of my favorite chiles for flavor, and we got a bottle to take home and have been putting it on everything. Bonus points that the cocktails are canned and you can get them to go.“

“This place is pretty rad. My gf and I were looking for a cool spot for lunch (she's vegetarian, I'm not) and we found this joint. Sat at the bar, our server Lindsey was present but not looming, helpful but not pushy and kinda funny. Cocktail menu seemed new w names like "almost summer" and a solid beer list. The menu is broad enough that there were MANY options for each of us, and the portions were average to large. Whoever said the portions were small needs to stop ordering off the kids menu. Good music that you can recognize but always in the background. Just a cool, funky joint w great food. Eat here.“

“I went there with a group of friends Friday night and had a great time with perfect service and atmosphere. They put on NCAA tournament game for us while I enjoyed The Rattler. (if you order this sandwich, go with the fried chicken option), I’m already looking forward to going back and getting the exact same sandwich. It was that good.“

“This is by far the best Indian dining within an hour. The staff is all very polite and friendly. A few years ago they completely renovated during covid and its a nice atmosphere. My wife and I never dine in for Indian anywhere else in New Hampshire.Vegetarian options: It’s Indian, vegetarians and omnivores alike are very happy here.Parking: Parking isn’t expensive. Street or garage right here.“

“As many people do, i myself read a few online reviews about fun Brewery walks in the Portsmouth NH area. Loaded Question Brewing Company came up as a recommended walking distance brew walk. I cannot say enough great things about them. We arrived at noon, right at opening, we caught Pete as he was setting everything up, nice warm welcome, he let us meander and dawdle to see the layout, checkout the tap list. Once ready he asked if we had questions, needed suggestions. He was present but not overbearing, always checking in, and when we asked questions and queried for information about their establishment, he was nice enough to show us the brewing operation out back. giving us a private style behind the curtain tour, history of the drinks and their company. the hospitality was great, felt like a family member visiting a friend at work. The beer quality was superb! many choices on tap, sadly their sour wasn't ready yet to try, but everything from their unique and crisp coffee lager, to the porter, was just great. pale ale true to flavor and of course they had your typical style NEIPA. I wished i lived closer, as id frequent numerous times a week.we loved the food menu creativity and simplicity, granted we didn't indulge in food, but perhaps something to just accompany your beverage.Their outdoor area is quiet and peaceful, had some fun outdoor and table style games to choose from if you wanted to chill and chat while keeping the mind busy.overall a great stop, if you love breweries, this is a hidden gem, don't let the unique entrance fool you, the prize is down the hall to the left!“

“Love the hot dog, shaved steak w/ house beer cheese sandwich. Pretzel was tasty but had a bit too much salt. Cider was tasty. Pretty chill and great vibe. We'll be back next time we're in town. We inhaled the food before the photo.“

“I've been to Tour on several occasions - dinner with my daughter, date night with my husband and a larger event/bday party. The simulators are a lot of fun, and if you are not into golf, it is also just a great restaurant to enjoy in town. They also have a nice bar and several screens for watching any type of sporting event. Definitely a great place to check out!“
“Very impressive. I stopped in here on a recent trip through Portsmouth just because I liked the name. Extremely well made beers, with authentic German styles, something that always makes me happy. Had an excellent bratwurst to go along, and it seemed to have a great, friendly local following on a weekday afternoon. I'll certainly be back on my next trip in the area.“

“Went to Portsmouth for a Birthday weekend. When we go away I loke to see what places we would like to eat and the BRGR Bar did not disappoint. The burgers were great definitely needed to cut it in half. One of the best burgers I have ever had. When in the area one of the places I will go to. Our server Mike was great.“

“Such a hidden gem on the airfield place has both tables and booths with plenty of sitting they also have a bar as well. The service is excellent both the waiters and waitresses are excellent and friendly. The food is excellent with ample portions had the biscuits and gravy which was delicious hash and eggs were delicious as well just a nice place for a good breakfast and lunch.“
“Good beer, which is obviously the idea, but i cannot get away from the feeling of it being a Starbucks style transaction. you cant talk to someone with the pure love of beer when your making a selection, no server to discuss the product. the operation is quite marvelous to see, obviously setup very well for large distribution, but the seating inside, while bright and sunny, doesn't give you a lot of room to even move about, not relax. very tight quarters.my wife and i went outside to the outside seating, which at night must be gorgeous id imagine! much more relaxed atmosphere outside.they made two incredible sours, and their IPA is great, so for those who aren't an IPA fan, they have an offering for you, but its not a huge variety on tap. They have some of their canned options available, but who goes to a live taproom style breweries for canned flats!?“
“Just do yourself a favor and stop here. The beers are diverse, the people are friendly, and the owners might be some of the best humans to grace this place we call Earth. Seriously, it's the perfect place to try all different types of beers (not just 12 Hazy IPAs) and really get a feel for different styles and brewing techniques. I can't stress enough how much of a hidden gem this place is; a true and authentic beer tasting experience.“

“I was given a special tasty treat today visiting Laney & Lu for the first time. This is an amazing place, very spacious with an outdoor patio, very neat and clean, plenty of parking (which is an anomaly for Portsmouth), excellent customer service and the food is delicious and divine! This is perfect combination if you want to relax and sit in and dine and or or if you want to eat quick and go but want something healthy, nourishing with high quality ingredients and taste. I had the best egg sandwich of my life, a Biscuit & Gravy Organic egg over easy with cashew mushroom gravy, walnut chorizo, spinach, micro-greens, scallion, served on gluten-free sweet potato biscuit. It was flavorful and fresh. In addition, they have an assortment of tasty and fresh pastries, designer coffee, espresso drinks and herbal teas. I had a "Macro" doughnut which was delightfully sweet, moist on the inside with a lustrous coat of sweet maple walnut glaze on the outside. I had the tea with Ashwaganda, gingko, lavender, tulsi, schisandra berries and it cleared my sinuses. Happy to have found this place, I am definitely coming back to try the rest of their menu.“

“This place has something for everyone! The variety of food options and drink options are plentiful. I have been here with family and friends, sat inside and out. The staff are friendly and attentive, the place is clean and welcoming. The food is special in a simple, clean way. In the summer you can bring your dog and in the winter you can ice skate. You have to try this place!“
“Good atmosphere, typical brewery vibe. Food is good for the price. I got a Reuben and loved it. The beers are top notch. I'd recommend trip or quad clip if you're into IPAs. The wait staff was 10 out of 10. There was a mix up with our order and they made it right. Overall great experience, would recommend going here for a cheeky Sunday funday or hanging out with people you enjoy talking to (because you can actually hear them). 5 stars!“
“A great little brewery in the heart of a shopping area for those that want to take a break from the outlets. Had a nice variety of beers and even offered a flight to sample. Staff were knowledgeable about the selections and even offered some additional samples. I would have loved a shirt from the place but the prices were very high. Stop in when you're in the area. Cozy place with delicious beer.“
“I signed my wife and I up for a tea mixing class at Société last week. I'm not a tea drinker, but my wife absolutely loves tea. Since it was her 30th birthday, I wanted to do something special and different, which is exactly what this class was! Typically scheduled for an hour and a half, our teacher (and owner of the shop) was very thorough and engaging, which extended the program to about 2 hours. We tried 5 or so different teas of a variety of styles ranging from a cleanse, Chai, holiday special, and a black tea for some caffeine. Like I mentioned at the start, I don't drink tea...since that class, I've had 3 cups, and shared our learnings with family and friends (who also have fallen in love with the Chai we brought home). In addition to the tastings, everyone that attends the class is given a free jar of any tea they would like. When I told my wife a few days ago that I let my dad try the teas we brought home, she was (jokingly) angry that it meant she would have 1 less cup worth of tea now. Even if you don't sign up for the class, Société is a must visit for any tea drinker!!“
“Mike is amazing! We stopped here on a whim. No idea what I had for a drink but he rocked it. My other half loves whiskey and had several different kinds (per the recommendation of Mike) and did not disappoint! Mike has the history and a good conversation for whatever serves! He gave recommendations for further drinks and food that are out of the “norm” but better than.If you ever come through…..you HAVE TO STOP!“

“In area on business and needed a good cuppa joe and a sinker and decided to try Aroma Joe's for the first time. Had their house blend, which was great--not watered-down like Dunkin Donuts coffee. Sadly, all they had were chocolate glazed donuts onhand--not for me. Anyhow, friendly staff, drive-thru waitline not too bad and will get their coffee on roadtrips again!“
“Great farm! Love that they have “festivals” every weekend from first harvest of the summer to last harvest of the fall. Excellent pies (cranberry apple was a hit on thanksgiving!) a great restaurant, pick your own (fruit of the season) is a great activity with kids. All-around wonderful place.“

“This is best place to stop for ice cream for my family. I need dairy free and my family tries the other ice creams. They always make sure it's dairy free for me. They give plenty of extra peanut butter sauce which is the best! Always a great time, especially on our way home from the beach.“

“UPDATE 2/27/24- After a few good experiences we brought some out-of-town guests. Several of the food items were cold or barely heated and had to be sent back. It was kind of embarrassing after telling our guests what a great place it is, disappointing....PREVIOUS REVIEW I expected tender, juicy, smokey, meat with a good bark from a barbecue restaurant. What I didn't expect was the surprise of smoked maple sugar granules in the oysters, a delicious fiddlehead relish with the coffee rubbed smoked pork belly, and the grilled pound cake, probably the best dessert I have had in years! Very attentive service as well. Wow!“
“Next to the water park on Lafayette Street. It has a very good Cinemagic movie theater, McKinnon's meat market, and Petco shop. There is also a convenient and very good Starbucks.Food can be had at the 99 Restaurant, Ollie's and Me, Subway's Restaurant, and Dough Craft Pizza. Cross the street for Taco Bell and Burger King. Across the street from Starbucks is Cantina Vida. The parking lot is currently under repair and building of a new structure.“

“The staff is beyond caring. Drove up from NY. It had been awhile since I had seen my parents because I had broken both my elbows and ulnas and couldn’t move for many months. Took my mom and dad here for lunch per my mom’s request as she said it’s really her favorite. The staff quickly ran to clean off tables that people had just left. They were so understanding about my mom and dad’s walkers. They were incredible with all our different food requests and changes. Extremely patient with our complex order. They described the beer tastes and varieties for my partner. My mom is in the Cedar nursing home and she doesn’t get out much. So what they did next to make this special occasion even more special brought me to tears. My mom asked us for a popover with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. It wasn’t on the menu. They made it and brought it over to my mom. The joy on my mom’s face I will cherish forever. I can’t thank you all for creating such a special afternoon for our family. It meant the world. Big hugs!“

“My daughter and I were craving a roast beef sandwich and Henry VIII Carvery came up as the top choice. After eating there, I can see why. Living in Northern MA, I'm used to the North Shore style roast beef which is thinly sliced, piled high, and typically swimming in sauce. Here, they serve a chopped prime rib roast beef sandwich with this amazing sour cream horseradish sauce and it served on this perfect sub roll which is soft, a little crunchy crust and holds the meat nicely. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, super tender and flavorful and the the roll was very good. We enjoyed a bag of chips on the side.Cool decor in the restaurant including a full sized knight in shining armor. Of I loved closer to Kittery, I'd be here weekly. Definitely check them out!“

“As a local surfing bum, it's essential to have a spot within walking distance of the beach at which I can grab some good coffee, hearty food, and strong WiFi. Common Roots has a surplus, boasting an inviting atmosphere which has helped to make it a local watering hole for the townsfolk of North Hampton and Rye. The owner is warm and focused on bringing the best experience possible to customers. His leadership cascades to other employees, so you feel the TLC with every interaction. Be sure to stop in next visit to Rye! Did I mention they sell beer too??“
