“We've consistently enjoyed wonderful meals at Peyton Place. It's the full package - a lovely pastoral setting, the type of personalized service you get when the owners are actively involved with the service, and straightforward but delicious meals prepared by a classically trained chef who won't settle for anything less than the best ingredients. Throw in goldfish bowl sized martinis and weekly live music and you have something truly special.”

“Outstanding food, as usual! And Kate’s drinks are exceptional!”
“I strongly recommend Vittles as it might be one of the best cafes in all of Vermont! The Maple Latte and the Taro Lotus Lemonade are terrific and the Mt. Rainier (Seattle style hotdog) is up there as one of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had! On top of that it’s one of the only goth establishments in Vermont and the owner and employees are super nice! Go Mariners by the way!”

“Great little cafe with creative sweet or savory scones. My cortado was just how I like it. I don't often see such a nice lever machine for the espresso. There's only a little seating but it doesn't seem to run out. you might rather browse the greenhouse or the farm store. Also u-pick blueberries when in season.I'll definitely stop by when I'm in the area again.”

“excellent food, all around good service. Sunday lunch. Service was prompt. We were seated in the back overlooking the nearby golf course. Glasses of ice water with lemon were served with freshly baked still warm bread and maple butter. We had a lunch portion chicken prosciutto mushroom marsla with penne with green salad add on and a Toto burger. Huge burger, bacon, coated seasoned fries. Looked inside their adjoining Togo shop at the slices of pizza, and desserts all ready to travel. Locally sourced produce, meats, dairy products. Fresh tasting, healthy, affordably price. Super clean, nicely decorated. Welcoming staff. Would recommend better lighting in bathroom. The fries weren't a hit with us. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Absolutely delicious food hot and crunchy the chicken teriyaki on a stick is the best thing ever. It's kind of expensive but it's worth it. I will say the seafood Melody I got was undercooked but that's the best thing about takeout just take it back on the pan.”

“The shrimp tostada has always been awesome, I get it every time & I can always rely on it being the same every time. We paired that w/ The Sticky VTer & The Dirty Burger and shared 1/2 of each-nice balance of spicy & sweet. I ordered online and within minutes of being there it was ready 👍🏼”

“Fantastic fried chicken. Fresh, juicy, well-seasoned, and KRUNCHY! Located in the back of a convenience store, the chicken kiosk is worth the stop. The owners are super nice to boot.
The convenience store is also good and has a selection of wine and beer to wash down that tasty chicken.”
