I did ask to be put away from people due to my wife's health and getting ready for her bone marrow transplant so that might have scared her to not come over to our table much. I ordered a carrot cake to go but never received it, I forgot all about it when I paid the check but I was at the counter buying some glasses so it wasn't like I just up and left, there was time for the waitress to bring it out or could have brought it out when I paid the check but she didn't. other than that it was very good and their light beer I got was excellent.“

“I don’t know who is running Burnt Timber, but they deserve some sort of award. I walked in exhausted, running on fumes, and somehow left feeling like I’d just come back from a week-long vacation.

First of all, the owner… whoever approved that hat deserves a raise. It instantly transported me to a beach bar in Havana where my only responsibility was deciding whether to order another drink. I can’t explain it, but the hat has powers.

The atmosphere is absolutely electric. I went from wanting a nap to wondering if I should cancel the rest of my day and just hang out there forever.

The staff? Somehow they assembled the Avengers of hospitality. It felt like every favorite bartender, server, and personality from all the best spots around town got together and decided to create the ultimate dream team. Friendly, hilarious, attentive, and somehow making it all look effortless.

If you’re looking for average, keep driving. If you’re looking for incredible food, unforgettable vibes, and an experience that makes you question whether you’ve accidentally been transported somewhere in Havanna that’s much cooler than your hometown… Burnt Timber is the place.
