“It is basically a take out place with a few tables of you want to eat there. I always get a luncheon or dinner plate for myself unless I’m having my son and his family over then I order off the menu.
I love egg foo young and they give you 2 omelets instead of one .
My husband got the beef and broccoli and he said the beef was tender .
And we got an egg roll for a apppetizer.
You can’t go wrong with the luncheon and dinner plates . While I waiting for my order about 5 people came in and did a pick up and that was 12:30 pm“

“What an amazing restaurant in the most ideal location in Lowell. Today was my first time having entered the beautiful location and had take out. I can without a doubt state that my husband and I will be coming in and be patrons because of the friendly service, unique style, and most definitely the fresh ingredients used in their menu. If you love crab rangoons or scallion pancakes, this will be your forever place. But all of the food is good and is always fresh and hot. “I really enjoy Lu’s Kitchen. My family, friends, and I have been coming here for years—both pre-COVID and especially throughout the pandemic. I’ve had the pleasure of watching the children who used to take our orders grow up into beautiful, professional young ladies, and I’ve always admired how they help support the family business.
That said, I do miss the classic mom-and-pop restaurants that remember their regulars and show a sense of appreciation toward long-term customers. Despite being consistent regulars who order pretty much the same thing every time, we’ve never really been acknowledged as loyal patrons—whether through a simple nod of gratitude, a warm greeting, or a small thoughtful gesture. It’s never about wanting something for free; it’s simply about feeling valued as a long-time customer who has consistently chosen to support their business over many other options. Please keep the rice the same as always. Maybe a different cook i don't know but you have the best rice in town. And never too greasy. Other than this flavor is always great. Hunan Chicken, chicken and broccoli and orange chicken is a hit. And rice when fresh with smoky wok flavor. Can't wait to try a few other things.“

“My partner and I really enjoy the food at Lake East! It's one of the only American Chinese food places that serves the barbeque pork strips I really like. We've gone here twice, the first time was two years ago when we were staying in the area and we liked it so much we decided to go back last night for take out again. I would definitely say it's more of a take out location than an eat in location but the food is good and I would recommend!“

“I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. I've always heard great things. Today i stopped in and got the best hot & sour soup I've had in 30 years. I'm talking nearly perfect. I also got a chicken yaki udon noodle and id give it a 9/10. Great bouncy noodles with plenty of flavor and no shortage of chicken and veggies. I cannot wait to try more from this place. I'm coming from tewksbury and it's totally worth the drive.“

“This was our first time dining in at Super Wok and it did NOT disappoint.

Our party consisted of 4 adults and 3 kids, everyone enjoyed their food and the service was very quick.

Orders consisted of:

Multiple Low mein(s), shrimp fried rice (lots of shrimp), general gao’s chicken (very crispy and sauce was excellent), lemon chicken (sliced cutlets very tender and lemon sauce was sweet), and sweet and sour chicken.

Also ordered was edamame (kid approved!), crab rangoons, scallion pancake, and egg rolls. Somehow we almost cleared it all - an accomplishment if you saw the portions.

Food was very fresh, flavorful, generous portions and quick service that is always appreciated with kids or when extra hungry.

100% would go back in person. Next time I’ll get some photos before it’s all gone!“

She refused to allow me to speak to her supervisor and said she would not give me his name, per his instructions, so I could give feedback and resolve the issue.“

“I've been going here for over 10 years. I love the crab rangoon. And all the food. But , they must spend a fortune in printing menus because they always charge you more than what the menu says and then they tell you that the menu is old. I'm posting a picture of two menus that I just got in the past month. Another picture is what I just got online, I took a screenshot. And it also says that the menu was updated 2 days ago. So if the menu was updated two days ago and as you can see in the picture it says $10 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. When I get there she says it's a $15 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. So she charges me an extra dollar. Besides the fact, that I was charged more than the price of the menu I just got last week. And she says don't you have any cash? I said no. She always asks for cash. And then she up charges me. She's a little tiny lady with a sweet little voice. But also a very big scam artist. I always support local businesses. But I do not support you taking my hard earned money out of my pocket. And then saying oh well. After over 10 years I'm done. There's plenty of other places to go. If you try to call her out on her scamming, she say to leave now. I don't need that kind of drama.“

My favorites are the chicken and pork dishes, but Mint Cafe has great vegetarian options as well. The people are kind-hearted. When I wanted to order 3 dishes separately, the owner Peter told me I could get all 3 with the combo - which would save me money. He didn’t have to but he is an honest local business owner. Wasn't aware they didn't take American Express, because it was a gift card given to me as an early Christmas present.

“I have eaten here over the years and several times since the new ownership change happened over the past year. The food was always very good though new ownership took it to another level! Last ordered beef broccoli, white rice, crab rangoon and chicken fingers. Everything was excellent. I have tried a couple other places in the local area close to Mei Hoo and my crab rangoons had barely any filling, disappointing of course. This is not just another Chinese restaurant but rather a customer oriented premium Chinese restaurant operated by people that care!“

“Pleasantly surprised -We ordered online thru their website Saturday night about 7:30, as we didn't want to go far from home & were craving Chinese food. Our food was very good, hot and ready when we picked-up. It was nice to see Elaine again as we haven't been in for a year or so. We bought (3) dinner meals for two, had way too much to eat-with at least 1-2 more leftover meals, all for about $40.00 -Where can you do that anymore, plus the food was delicious. It was not salty or heavy with MSG. The chicken chow mein was so fresh and crisp. The boneless spareribs were cooked to perfection - not overdone like so many other restaurants. We will be back soon to have dinner in their new dining room.“
