“I ordered a bowl that I thought had no added sugar due to a special diet I am strictly following, and after they made it the manager asked if I had been informed the base I choose did In fact have added sugar, which I had not been. She offered to remake it with the green base with cashew milk and make sure there was no added sugars in my bowl. Everything she did for me, was very appreciated and I love that I can go to Playa and treat myself while sticking to my plan. Thank you Playa!!“

“went in today and was basically yelled out by the gal behind the counter when i did not hear her ask what size coffee i wanted( it’s tough when your staff mumbles ) … i will not be going back . i don’t go into coffee shops to get yelled at by the staff . the place is not as good now under this new ownership .. baked goods not at yummy as before and staff is lackluster.“

I also tried some amazing iced Irish Cream deliciousness recently. The baristas are super friendly and are always great for recommending new drink ideas. Noelea is my top favorite drink connoisseur at Aroma Joe's. She has whipped me up some questionable flavor combos that have turned out to be absolutely delicious every time. The Cajun hashbrows are a snacky snack MUST!! For a warm drink, on a crisp fall day, get a large London Fog two tea bags. Chef's kiss.“

Super inconsistent drinks that never taste the way they should. I've been here 3 times since it's opened and every time both mine and my husband's drinks have been not right. It's not that they are making the wrong drink but the proportions are way off. The pink drinks come out bright, neon pink from too much strawberry refresher and the iced mochas vary from way too much chocolate to not enough. The staff are polite but it also takes a long time to get your order. I know this is a new location so I'm not giving up on them yet and will change my review if/when my opinion changes.“

“The lady today working who made my coffee, Corrina, she made it absolutely perfect and made it so super fresh. She was kind and understood what I wanted. Small decaf coffee, cream and hazelnut. Honestly the best service I got. Was simple, but left an impression.“
