“We were visiting from NH today and decided to have our usual start-o-the-season ice cream at Village Scoop in York. We were skeptical since our NH favorite sets a high bar.
Well, we were pleasantly surprised! If we lived locally, this would be our go-to!
My go to is chocolate chip with chocolate jimmies. The jimmies actually had chocolate flavor in addition to texture and the chocolate chips were a good dark chocolate!
The chocolate dipped waffle cone is a fav of mine, which unfortunately our usual place does not have. The cone although good tasting had a taste to it....it is either flavored a bit or this batch of cones had too much almond extract type of flavor, but it was good but a "flavored" cone is not needed with ice cream, IMO.
I prefer an outside window set up rather than having to go into a store front for an ice cream cone but that would not keep me away from this ice cream shop!“

“BUC'S LAGOON does not only offer a great mini golf course to work up an appetite but comes through with delicious types of soft and frozen ice cream. Prices work, and the attendees are very prompt and friendly. I would always make sure it was my first stop.
Kid-friendliness: What kid wouldn't want to ask to visit Buc's Lagoon....ICE CREAM!

“Such a fun and whimsical little shop! We enjoyed our ice cream, and there were many topping and candy types to choose from! Sugar free items and gluten free are available, too. A little something for everyone!! Our server was very friendly and attentive and gave us nice background about the place!“
“First time ordering from Susie’s Sweets and can’t wait to go back. Very easy to order and even customized a cake for us for the 4th of July holiday. Large cake was perfect size for 10 people. Highly recommend them , better pricing and quality than other well known ice cream places in MA and NH“

“Applecrest Farm in rural Hampton Falls is a wonderful complex serving the community, offering a wide assortment of fresh produce, products and condiments. The barn features post and beam construction that is cavernous. Much is produced locally and their displays are very inviting. Right now, they are offering ‘Pick your own’ strawberries and blueberries. A freezer case has home-made fruit pies. There is also an on-site restaurant that has indoor and outdoor seating w/ umbrella’s. There is live music on the weekend. I’ll be reviewing the restaurant after next week’s brunch, so stay tuned.“

“Absolutely amazing food. I had been told to try it out for awhile, and I was so glad I did. I'd love to try more of the items they have because it was so good. Definitely worth a stop and yes it can be pricey but the taste more than makes up for it.“

“I usually don't step foot in Hampton in peak summer season, but I found myself in the neighborhood after beach yoga. KB's has its own parking lot (a blessing) and is easy to find. Friendly, efficient service and delicious bagels and coffee. Also very reasonable prices. Who could ask for more?“

“Ordered food at 12:30pm on wednesday 9/11/24. There was already a line at 12pm. Short staffed, so expect a long wait. But the chowder and ice cream were amazing. Small ice cream was almost as big as my head, way too much ice cream for me but good for someone who loves ice cream and can eat more than a pint in one sitting. ? i envy you. its right across the street from hampton beach state park. Lots of picnic bench seating with umbrellas. Decent amount of parking. Its a little expensive for food, but the ice cream is 100% delicious and get a huge amount. $5.49 for a small. I dont even want to know what a large size ice cream looks like.“
