“My all time favorite restaurant. Fish & Chips, Tips and Tenders, and ANY of their burgers are excellent. They have a great beer selection. I love their salads and appetizers too. You can NOT go wrong dining here.Features: Masks are no longer mandatory. ?“
“Came here for Valentines Day last minute. It was great. Not only because it wasn't busy (as every other place is on this night) but because we had amazing service and delicious food.We walked down the hall, our 3 year old son in tow... 3 of the ladies immediately awed at his smiling face. My son was excited and they're reaction was so welcoming. Then we seated. It's not a super fancy place as in fine dining. It was pretty. Very clean. Quiet.I dislike loud busy bustling places especially on Valentines Day, quality is low, service is lacking- this was far from that! In every best way possible.Jamie was our waitress. She was attentive, friendly, smiling & had a great presence about her.We ordered the calamari, truffle fries(for our son who is obsessed with fries), cheese quesidilla (for our son), the lobster fra diavolo special & fish tacos. everything was great (beans were very salty, they came with the tacos- Didn't bother me I dont really eat them anyways).Price wise, I think the tacos and the quesidilla were over priced. tacos had rice that was plain & salty canned tasting beans but the tacos themselves were fantastic. Cheese quesidilla with just sour cream and pico seemed too much for something very basic.Maybe some better dessert choices? They don't make them in house so I didn't get any which is a bummer, because I love desserts. Nothing special (esp on Valentines day) about strawberry cheesecake, warm lava cake (pre-made), or tiramisu. I can get that anywhere. All in all it was nice and I would highly recommend it. I would come back 100%.Thank you Jamie! I hope you see this or a manager does and recognizes your amazing service!!Kid-friendliness: high chairsWheelchair accessibility: elevator“
“Great dining option in downtown lowell. This restaurant hosts a traditional Irish pub theme and takes you away from the city bustle. Their menu has burgers, cottage pie, bangers and mash and more. They also have weekly specials so always worth a return trip. Their bar has a great selection of drinks and of course, plenty of whiskey. Pricing is average for a night out and close to parking garage.“
“Warm ,friendly atmosphere .. I ordered a burger, it was great. What impressed me most was that the selection of sides wasn't just the usual fries and onion rings. I ordered risotto as my side. And I ordered a mug of Chowder!Parking: Pub so much more accessible since they moved to the other side of the intersection“
“I hosted a private event upstairs for about 65 ppl. The food was fantastic - we had tips, rice and salad, as well as plenty of apps beforehand - there was plenty of food for our guests. The bartenders and wait staff were so helpful that evening. Penny, the owner and Chris, the cook - could not have been more accommodating to us; always checking in- great communication while planning. The room was rustic with tables scattered throughout for the guest. Our evening was perfect.“
“The food was so good I got the baked stuffed haddock with mashed and carrots it was delicious. My mom and best friend had the steak tips, and they said they were cooked to perfection. I will be back to try all the food, seeing I had a hard time deciding what to get.“
“The food is always good haven't had a bad meal yet I have been a few time I would recommend there hot dogs burgers onion rings buffalo tenders there pizza is also awesome they do incredible drinks Russel is a awesome an funny bartender there most of the staff is very smiley an you can tell enjoy working there the owners are both wonderful people to I would recommend them over most local places vary friendly an welcoming“
“Better than you would expect from the location. The back patio is a nice scene for a sunny afternoon or nice night to be outside. They have keno which is a plus if you like that. Downside/upside depending on what you are looking for is it is a very local scene and people can be chatty (everyone has their own opinion on that). Daytime until 7 vibe is older crowd... the nighttime is very much a younger crowd.“
“Nice little bar. Little "hometown" atmosphere for the locals. I'm not one of them, but went for a small meal and listen to my wife's old friends play music. It was St. Patrick's day so the Irish and Irish at heart were in full force. With a full house, the service was understandably slow. The corned beef sandwich was good, and the fries were hot.“
“Culpeppers has the BEST buffalo wings and pizza in North Andover. I'm super picky about pizza and hated all the pizza places in the area when I moved here, until I found this place. Most bars will serve you overpriced frozen food, but not here. Everything is super fresh and delicious at very reasonable prices. Jimmy and the waitresses make you feel right at home and treat you like family. This place is no frills and has a super relaxed, small town bar vibe. The cocktails are great and reasonably priced and they have a wide selection of beers on tap. Culpeppers has quickly become our go-to spot for watching games, relaxed date nights, or a much needed midweek pick me up.“
“This is your average neighborhood haunt with a surprisingly decent kitchen. Menu is mostly pub fare, enormous pizzas, and sandwiches, but the specials are usually higher class dishes like seafood scampi, or chicken marsala.Drinks are normally priced as you'd expect and the staff is friendly. They've got daily specials and different entertainment most nights of the week. We've been in for Musical Bingo, Karaoke, Trivia, etc. There are also live bands and DJs some nights.Decent bar seating with a fair collection of tables to seat yourself at as well. Dart boards in the back and a Touch Tunes jukebox on the wall for when there isn't live entertainment.I keep coming back.Parking: Parking is okay. There's about 15 spots in their oddly shaped lot, but the carwash next door seems to have more room for parking and is closed at night.“
“First, I'd like to say I tried contacting Charlie's before I went this route. I didn't get a response. I've been to Charlie's with a group of 8 for lunch. It was very good. We got what we ordered and everything was delivered together. On Friday, 4 of us went there for food and drinks before the Folk Festival. Okay, Corona, I asked for lime. Didn’t get it. No biggie. Two of us ordered hamburgers, one ordered a tuna sandwich, the 4th haddock. Nope, no haddock. Okay, sirloin tips. Nope. Country chicken. Nope and don't know what it is. Okay....I'll have a hamburger. 15 minutes after (mind you 25 minutes have already passed), sorry. no buns. How about white bread! 40 minutes after initial order, hamburger on white bread and something resembling a tuna sandwich (?) arrives. We felt sorry for the waitress. But definitely poor service. I'm sorry I have to post this, I like helping local businesses, but lack of listed items was horrible.“
“Looking for places to have lunch we found this place, the atmosphere is very cool, it has a bone bar where you can also have your drinks. For my lunch I ordered a Chicken Wrap with Ranch Sauce and it was spectacular, I give it a 10/10.The service was very good and the food was on time since the place was full of people and there were people at the door waiting to enter. They take credit cards, there are parking spaces.I would return without problem ?“
“Some of the best priced drinks in town and a great selection of draft beers. The food here is a real surprise both in quality and taste, although typically they only have it on weekends, but they have a fantastic mix of burgers, wings, and rotating specials. I had my birthday party here and the staff let us put up decorations and stuff which was very kind.“
“Great people, great place! I was in town for a wedding at the Steven's Estate and came here after (11/11). The guys behind the bar couldn't have been nicer!! They even turned on their fryers late night just to cook us up mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders. Fun, chill vibe and just the nicest people working there. Definitely recommend!“
“Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here. Everything was awesome! Chicken wings, shrimp Alfredo and chicken pot pie was all sooo good. Dinner rolls were to die for. However, the highlight of the evening was our awesome waiter Aaron! So polite, funny and attentive, even recommended a dessert (Mississippi mud pie) which did not disappoint!“
“This was our last resort for food as it was approaching 11 o’clock. We tried a few other places and they all closed their kitchen early. When we walked in, I wasn’t too sure of the place. It has a dive bar Vibe, which I’m totally cool with, but wasn’t sure how my wife and Mom were feeling about it. We ordered chicken fingers, Buffalo Chicken Eggrolls, French fries and a burger. Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend! Staff was helpful, the owner was cooking and he was great to talk to.“
