“I’m a foodie, and that includes desserts, but specifically Ice Cream. I have lived in three states, and traveled to many more. This is unequivocally the best ice cream I have ever put to the test. I live and hour away, but you will find me here a lot even if I have to make an excuse to get here.”

“We had the $10. burger special with choice of fries. It was great. They were busy with only one server, but it went very smoothly with teamwork. A potential guest decided she could make her own parking spot at the front door and was asked by another guest not to park there. Instead of helping her elderly mother into the restaurant and then moving her car, she got angry, moved her car and then dragged her mother into the restaurant. She wanted to be seated in a closed section, which she was told she could not. She was belligerent and privileged. She blamed everyone else for her problems and blamed it on prejudice because of her NY plates...that no one could see. The food and service were great, the floor show was a bonus.”

“wonderful local staff, great food. fun in the north country.”
“My vegan Caesar salad was good but not sure if market it as a Caesar. Nothing like one but still delicious.
Service was excellent. Greg was very attentive and rang everyone up separately.
A little pricey, but honestly not a lot more than the base lodge and MUCH better quality.
Cloudy but I would imagine the views on a clear day are amazing.”

“My Old English Sheepdog group held its 9th annual weekend gathering at the Wayside Inn. We were a small group this year, only 20 members and 14 dogs. 14 very large dogs! Sarah and her staff made us feel so very welcomed. Very friendly, and attentive to all our needs. The meals were absolutely delicious! Especially the French toast caserole! If your looking to stay at a quaint NE BnB, that is beyond pet friendly, where the food is "TDF", I highly recommend the Wayside Inn.”

“Food was very good- we had 12 people in our group and everyone like their food. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Small but decent tap beer selection.”
“Came here for a girls overnight getaway and dined here. Loved the ambiance of the wine cellar (bring a sweater-its chilly down there! Menu is seasonal and slim, but literally everything was delicious, especially the scallop dish! Waitstaff was short staffed and a little curt, but everything else was delightful.”

“Definitely in the top 3 best Subways I've ever been to. The lady there is super nice and the place was clean. Will definitely be coming back when we're up here.”
“A relaxing and delicious lunch at Rosebrook Bar with spectacular mountain views that made the entire experience feel extra special. We got:
HOT PRETZELS
Two oversized pretzels served with beer cheese and Tuckerman's mustard. The pretzels were so good that I devoured the first one immediately and had to order a second before the meal was even over. They had a perfect golden crust with a warm, soft center, and the mustard was incredibly flavorful. Truly the best hot pretzel I've ever had.
HARVEST SALAD
A fresh, vibrant mix of arugula, spinach, strawberries, pickled peaches, blueberries, red onion, and sunflower seeds topped with grilled chicken and dressed in a maple lemon vinaigrette. The fruit added brightness, the pickled peaches gave a fun tangy twist, and the vinaigrette tied everything together with a sweet citrus finish. Light, but satisfying.
A wonderful lunch with generous flavors and unforgettable views of the mountains. Rosebrook Bar was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a truly memorable meal.”
“Pretty cool spot to hang out. You'll be suckered in with the cave-like entrance for the whopping two seconds you walk through, then realize it's a fancy bar stop.
Plenty of space, tables, and chairs in the first room. Second room holds the bar and also looks fancy. Drinks are overpriced. Your complimentary drink tickets as an Omni Select Guest work here for BEER and/or WINE ONLY.”
“The atmosphere/ ambiance was excellent! Food, and music, terrific! The service was slow but not due to the wait staff. The wait staff was attentive and apologetic for the delay.”

“Great spot as a walk-in if you're stuck with just hotel restaurants.
There's not as much variety as the other spots like the 1902, but the food is good, albeit overpriced (but you knew this already).
Shrimp cocktail was a shrimp cocktail, but with jumbo-sized shrimp. Fries were excellent. The steak sammich is actually made with real steak and not Steak-Umms (shaved meat). Lobster club is too large to eat comfortably (I made fun of a previous review, but that lady does have a point). Kids menu is literally more costly than the most expensive restaurant in the area.
Peter was fantastic! He's been doing this for a while and loves the Mt. Washington resort vs. a lot of his past locations.
Drinks were full-proofed and done well.
Views were beautiful.”
