“Don't let the exterior stop you from visiting this place; it's truly a hidden gem. Please note that they only accept cash, although there is an ATM on-site, which I wouldn't recommend using based on other reviews.

The food we received was outstanding considering the price, and their customer service was excellent. We ordered four takeout meals inside and received our food in about 10 minutes. When we returned to our hotel, the meals were still warm, likely due to the cold weather outside.

I ordered chicken and broccoli, which tasted just like the dishes you would expect from any family-owned Chinese restaurant. There was a generous portion of rice (possibly because I asked for extra), and the chicken-to-broccoli ratio was also quite good.

There are only three seats and one table, so I recommend this place for take-out.

“Mr. Wonton in EHT is by far our favorite Chinese food place. We’ve tried a few other places locally, and nothing really compares as far as the general chicken quality and taste. They also have a better dipping sauce with the steamed dumplings, and they hook you up with a bigger container than the other places would. For as long as we’ve been ordering, we’ve never had a bad dish from here. Five stars! :)“

“Came here because we had a craving for Spicy Boiled Fish (水煮鱼). It was very good! Even better was the stir-fried water spinach, excellently-flavored with fried garlic and lots of fresh ginger (just the way I like it). The staff was friendly and attentive - They even held on to my hat that I left behind! I love the traditional Chinese banquet hall aesthetic as well. It's a gem in the greater Atlantic City area! “This is the best Chinese restaurants around. I have eaten in some of the very best in New York and can't say enough about Hunan King. They also delivered one itme to me after a pickup order was missing one of the containers. That is wonderful customer service. Thank you for terrific food and hospitality.

“We stay at the tropicana four or five times a year, for the last seven years, and I never knew this was here! It's hidden behind the baccarat tables to the left of jade palace. I had the middle wonton soup and it was delicious, exactly what I alway want! This place is open from 3pm-7am, which is perfect because I usually want it around 3am.The down fall was that there basically is no service. There's a counter in the back of the gaming room with a few bar stools. I had to yell in the back to get someone to come out, so food the lady after me. The room/ games are directed towards Asian people and the man behind the counter was Asian as well. He didn't speak English so its a good thing there are only five options on the menu so you can just point to what you want. He seemed to be in tune with the people playing the games, spoke that language and was talking their orders as they yelled them out from their gaming table.Regardless, I'm just happy to have late night noodles, even if I don't fit in!“

“As a local who orders year round and often, this is theee best Chinese food in town. Delivery is fast, food is always fresh and delish. Helpful tip: the man taking the phone orders doesn’t need a thousand questions. This is basic Chinese food done very well, no need to ask questions. He may seem a bit rude but he’s efficient and quick. It’s a very busy place so that should tell you what you need to know. Five stars all day long!“

“This was my first time here and it did not disappoint! My family is vegetarian so we got the General Tsos Tofu and it was amazing. Best I've had down the shore area by far. Also got the veggie lo mein. Also perfect. They make their own mustard which is always a must add.

Place is in a strip mall so easy to park and get to. Small dining area which I would probably do with my wife but we had 2 kids with us. Lastly the people are super nice. I bought their sweet tea on my way out and it's also great.

Have to let the know the cooking preferences such as in well done, etc. otherwise rice might taste a bit undercooked. Their soups are excellent.
