Acai Bowls near Asbury Park, NJ

“We traveled 2 1/2 hours for a beach day and ended it with a Playa Bowl in Asbury which is a summer tradition. But we almost missed out! Location was closed by 6:00 pm on 9/21/24! We were in disbelief! We got there at 6:10pm. We begged and pleaded and “Jimmy” made it happen!!! World class service with a smile!!! What an amazing person you are “Jimmy”! Thanks for ending our summer with such class!!!!! There should be more people like you in this world!!! Safe Travels!!!!“

There was a young lady on the register, brunette hair. Super friendly! Very welcoming disposition! She helped me choose my items, she told me how to make it work for me in the most cost effective way (picky eater).
She even let me try a few base options -Pitaya & Mango (we had similar tastes because neither of us enjoyed Pitaya very much 😖 tastes like a placebo fruit 😭-but my sister LOVED IT!).
So because of her, I’ve literally eaten Playa Bowl every other day-obsessed-it’s a little expensive for me though lol! Get me a discount and I’ll take 14 of em right now, SPECTACULAR

i dont know WHAT TYPE OF BERRY BLEND THEY USE IN THEIR AÇAÍ BUT ITS THE BEST AÇAÍ IVE HAD NEXT TO AMAZON CAFE!

(Please advise you can do a Half and Half Base!!! It’s really good and they don’t mix it together here, they give them space in the bowl, it was really perfectly made. The other Playa Bowl I visited didn’t do that for me! I got Half Mango Half Açaí)“

“We were visiting family in the area and they recommended Berritazza. I had a yogurt parfait with fruit and peanut butter and my husband had a ham and cheese grilled sandwich. The food was really good, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. And the coffee was delicious!“

“We love Melonhead. Especially the Red Bank location 'cause it's much closer to us. It's convenient, cute, and quiet. The smoothies and bowls taste fresh and are always on point. Yesterday we met Alana who was highly exceptional and provided awesome customer service. I honestly thought she was this location's new manager. She was super friendly and is very devoted to her job. You guys are lucky to have her!? ?Update: I highly suggest more thorough customer service training with the young people who work here. Especially customer service training over the phone when talking to people.“

“Was at your establishment yesterday after promising myself I would never go back. I was happy I did, after the last two horrendous visits both with product and customer service which were months ago yesterday’s experience was wonderful. My first thought was “ They must have a new owner or manager” . If this is the case , well done. So happy to have a Playa I can once again go to.“

“No kidding the people that work there are literally the nicest people ever. Every time I go they’re so extremely kind to me and my daughter. I wish I knew their names but the Asian woman with a cute beauty mark and the Caucasian guy with auburn hair are my favorite people. And of course they make a perfect bowl every time!“

“it was a hot and sunny morning and i got the itch to go to the beach. after applying my spf 30, i hopped on my unicycle and made my 45 minute journey to long branch. when i arrived, i was so utterly dehydrated, sweating my balls off. i looked to my left and i saw a “Playa Bowls” sign and i knew what had to be done. i ordered a nutella bowl with no coconut flakes of course! the line was long but it was so worth it. that fruit bowl hit all the right spots and completely quenched my thirst. if you ever get the chance to go to playa bowls, don’t even hesitate. it’s healthy and delicious. the employee natalie makes a mean bowl. we love her. slay natalie!!
