The restaurant was lively, friendly and the service was great they were attentive. I've never had Lebanese food but the server explained the tasting menu. Everything was fresh and good, if you like Mediterranean food I'm certain this place is for you. It was a good gastronomic experience. If you are in Collingwood it's a must try.“
“This was the loveliest dining experience I have had in my life! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with such warmth and cheer. The host Chris wished me a happy birthday upon our arrival and we were even given a menu with "Happy Birthday" printed on it. What a kind gesture, right? We were shown out to the gorgeous string lit terrace with heat lamps and beautiful greenery everywhere. We were given champagne on the house and delicious sourdough bread. Erin our server was so sweet and genuine it felt like we were regulars although it was our first time there. The food and cocktails were so amazing and the prices are so affordable for the ambiance and quality. We were too full to order dessert, but they brought out a piece of cake with a candle anyway to celebrate. I just want to encourage other to give this place a try because you will truly be blown away. I was sad to leave. The staff, ambiance, and food were just complete perfection. “We visited Hershel’s East Side Deli which was recommended by Somebody Feed Phil. It was one of our favorites among the trip to Philly. They sliced the meat in a sense of urgency, stacked it with huge amount and it looked extremely satisfying.We had a Our Famous Reuben Sandwich, Daily Soup and Salad Platter Sampler. The portion was huge with reasonable price. There are 4 options for Our Famous Reuben Sandwich and we had Corned Beef. It was satisfying when we saw how thick it was and the texture was pretty moist with refreshing pickles.“

My issue is that, when compared with other similar multi course options in Philly at the same price range, I wasn't impressed with the food. Everything was prepared perfectly fine, but overall dishes were either on the blander side (such as the fish and desserts) or odd (such as the sweetbread). “Looks just like the other mission bbqs. I was a frequent visitor at the York PA location. Found out about this one when I was visiting my brother in Jersey. Food is great as usual. The only thing that threw me off was the cashier. It was an older woman. She seemed to be stressed or frustrated but she wasn’t so friendly and impatient. I was thinking to add another entree since I never get to eat at mission (I moved to ny) her impatience got me nervous so I just said never mind that is all. If she was a little nicer she would have gotten another 15 dollars out of me. I like that they use fresh mushrooms too which is a plus. Pizza here tends to usually be on the doughy / thicker / floppy side yet is still oddly “thin crust” style? It has a bit of an identity crisis. It can plausibly crack a top 10 pizza in Philly on a good night depending on your preference but it wouldn’t grab a top 5.“
