“It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

“Great little tea house across from Hmart. Found parking in the rear which was great. I was originally going to get bubble tea from the place in the chain of stores by Hmart but there was absolutely no parking available. As I left I saw Mi Tea and went in. Ordered 2 bubble teas, their first 2 all time favorites on the list. I gotta say, it was very good bubble tea. I opted for the brown sugar and taro and it was amazing. Definitely recommend trying them out. Just be careful crossing rt 27.“

“Went to get a peach green tea w sago bubbles plus chocolate hazelnut waffles and they were really good. The tea was very refreshing with pieces of peach I would def recommend. “This is one amazing bubble tea place in Rahway and it is right in front of the train station. They have unique milk teas like the Hokkaido and Okinawa milk tea which give me the chance to try new flavors. They have a cozy sit out area.
This is a female led business and the owner Ginelle is very welcoming and kind.

“I love this place. They always have great and fresh food. My favorite has to be the vegetable ramen. It’s so delicious, their chicken wings are flavorful and guns texture is pretty good. I love their bubble tea as well. I order through Uber eats majority of the time, I wonder if I can directly order from this restaurant though. I think I’ll find that out. Today I ordered the matcha green tea bubble tea, usually I order the mango milk bubble tea. They must remember because Uber gave me a complimentary mango bubble tea. “This is really good bubble tea. Better than any spot I’ve had in NJ and rivaling NYC. I like that you get actual tea in the drink (it tastes like it) rather than just a powder. “I ordered takeout today and it was fabulous! For some reason I thought that the menu was just dumplings and never looked further but it is so much more! The quality and completeness of my order was refreshing. I got the Bao Entree Deluxe (with no green peppers), the Pepper Steak for my green pepper loving friend, and the Bao Sampler platter (came with 2 dipping sauces). I also got 10% off the next order :). I also did not feel hungry 2 hours later which seems to always happen to me with chinese food and I don't get it often. “I am not a fan of Bobba Tea, and in fact try to stay away from them as much as possible but accompanied a freind recently to Gong Cha, and I am happy that I decided on Gong Cha for giving Bobba Tea one more chance. I loved Tea flavor and the coconut jelly bits, still not a fan of the Tapioca pearls but it was definitely way better than other Bobba Teas that I have tried in the past.

Such gentle flavors and textures in just one drink with so few ingredients, they should call this drink Tiger meets Magic!!!! Staff is very helpful despite large amounts of orders and is always willing to help and explain to you what is in their drinks! There was a long haired asian gentleman who was keeping the store very clean, washing hands after handling money and very efficient! “I used to order Pho from here all of the time and now it is different. I came on google to see if there was a change and saw the comment below that it’s new owners so it makes sense. I noticed a difference in the quantity of noodles and lack of chop sticks with my order and that’s what made me check on google.
It’s about $5 more per Pho. They do give a large portion of meat which is nice.

“I am very happy I took a chance on sunmerry. I’ve had sunmerry in Taiwan, and the products were very good there.

I ordered a taro pudding cake, and sunmerry delivered. The cream was light and airy, and not heavy/oily(like the frosting on the cakes at Paris baguette). The taro was actual taro paste, and the pudding was not overwhelming. It was the first time I finished a slice of cake with the frosting altogether.
