“I'm giving this amazing place 4 stars because as amazing as it has been my whole life, I have some issues.I understand as a business, employees reflect your business, a few times I have had weird looks, and I felt slightly uncomfortable about that. Not only that, but they have messed up a few items in the past, and it has upset a couple of family members, because you want a treat the same as me, and then you open it up and find out it's not what you ordered.Another issue I have, the staff has had some nasty remarks or comments, some under the breath murmurs, or any quips as they turn their head away, thinking you won't hear them.I stay quiet, because typically when I am there, there is a big line, and I don't want the attention, but that is frustrating.Everyone who complains about it being cash only needs to grow up and carry some paper with them. Big deal you need to have a 20 dollar bill to get the family some frozen treats. But, the positives. This place has been around for so long, I don't even want to think about the history it holds.Overall the staff is nice, sweet, helpful, and overall keeps a smile on their faces even during rush/booming hours. The service is quick, they are good with money, and I haven't had any dealbreaking troubles there.Bad workers come and go, but the Custard Stands.(See what I did there? ?)Anyway, bring a 20, get yourself something delectable, and maybe a cone for your kid too.P.S, it's New Jersey, they are Jimmies. Not sprinkles.“

“My only suggestion is to make sure that they remember all of the topping you told the employees because I had to tell them on multiple occasions. Otherwise this place is great to go chill outside and eat ice cream with your family. I've had many memories of this ice cream shop which btw is open like all year round. Also there is a drive thru!“
“Great place to enjoy some ice cream with friends, family and pets. Many different combinations and flavors to choose from, the prices may be a bit higher than other places but the portions and quality of ice cream they serve justify itself. I highly recommend ??“
“I am a local and I visit Jimmy’s very often! Multiple times a week. The service is always fast and friendly. The water ice is some of the best in south Philly and the pizza pretzel is my go to for a quick bite to eat. I highly recommend jimmys water ice!!“
“If you are looking for the best of the best when it comes to local ice cream shop, look no further. This local dive is happening and for good cause. The ice cream comes out in heaping proportions, for good prices and in many different ways. The only point of cautions I share are that you may be in for a bit of a wait on a busy (hot) day and always bring cash as this establishment only accepts cash.“

“This ice cream is absolutely evil because I crave it endlessly and now drive VERY MUCH OUT of my way to buy a few pints to make my whole family VERY VERY HAPPY. The pistachio is RIDIC and destroyed my now quaint devotion to butter pecan. Vegan options are incredibly good too.“

“They nearly allways have every flavor you crave. They have the best peacan ice cream around and the best sizes. Never have I ever had a bad time at hilltop. Their hotdogs are also great.Dietary restrictions: They have gluton free optionsKid-friendliness: Perfect place to take your kids“
“We love it here. I mean, any place that has ice cream has my business. Fun and unique flavors. Rootbeer float, chocolate cheezit, honey lavender, lemon basil, yum yum yum. They serve ice cream flights, $7 for 4 flavors in a tray. Great for sharing or for yourself! They also have hotdogs, grilled cheeses, and popcorn chicken! They have different sauces too.We like going before the Broadway childrens theatre, since it is right across the street.Bathroom does not have changing table.“
“This little shop is SOO CUTE! A must visit, and the ice cream tastes great! Owner ran, super friendly service. So creatively decorated and fun for kids, they also sell candy and have a really cool carnival set to watch while you eat. We loved it!“

“LOVED IT HERE! Truly authentic Italian cooking, with authentic ingredients to purchase. The staff was so friendly and accomodating on their menu. We had to make a slight change in order for a vegetarian, and they had no issues. We tried their breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, and each bite was jam packed with substance & flavor (I mean, just look at the layers in my photo.) Fresh ingredients, and an overall quaint/bright spot. This would be an awesome place to post up and get some work done, do some people watching, and enjoy delicious food. Not to mention, their baked goods looked out of this world. We wanted to get so much, but I landed on their passion fruit donut, partly because it was the last one left (so I figured something must be good!) And let me tell you, their dough is different. The donut was dense & fluffy at the same time, and their passion fruit flavor was y-u-m-m-y. I can't wait to go back to try more sandwiches and get some grocery shopping done!“

“Real authentic Italian restaurant. The service is absolutely amazing! I thought the food was really good, just incredibly rich and too salty for me but the flavors and authenticity were on point. The gelato was incredible! The flavor options were one thing but then heaven in your mouth after. I'll definitely be back to try another dish.“

“The best gelato ever! Authentic Italian gelato and I was told they import them from Italy, so this is definitely a place you should visit if you are in the area. Customer service is always great and the quality of ingredients used is definitely top notch. The only downside is that you will no longer enjoy store bought or any other ice cream.“

“Delicious ice cream! Lots of flavors, including seasonal flavors and a few sherbets. You can get scoops (the stiffer type of ice cream) or soft ice cream, on a cone or in a cup, and there are also lots of toppings to choose from. My favorite is the mint chocolate chip!“

“This is our 2nd visit. The 1st visit was with the kiddos and they approve and want to come back. The 2nd time, hubby and I tried the desserts and ice cream. I really like the balakva and hubby said the cheese cake was okay. There is comfortable seating and plenty of parking. Ideal for families, afterschool spot, Friday or weekend spot and even meet up spot for sporting events clubs and schools. We will be back! ✨️“

“With a lot of good options to choose from in Fishtown, Weckerlys is the best. We always take out of town guests here to try their ice cream sandwiches after dinner. Also their instagram posts of their new flavors is just Luv u weckerlys, bring back the Bowie sandwich next Bowie week“
“Lena’s is on the corner of my street and I am fortunate to know the owner who is a great guy and gives special attention to his staff and business. All ice cream and water ice choices are delicious with a large menu. Lena’s is the biggest ice cream spot in the area. Highly recommended!“
“We LOVE Anthony's, we live in town amd can walk there. They are always so nice, know our kids by name and have watched our family grow. Ms. Aaliyah the owner is a true gem. Happy to support a small business and highly reccomemnd stopping by.“

“We frequent this location after my kids get immunizations as their reward (or bribe...potayto/potahto). The people there are so kind, patient, and efficient at what they do. Food quality is great. The inside has a tiny capacity if you wish to stay and enjoy the people/atmosphere. We usually take our desserts to go, so it's never been an issue.“

“We came in on a December Thursday night and were the only ones in the store. You're able to sample any flavor you want, which was great. We ended up getting thin mint and a pumpkin, which were both delicious. The sad part about winter is that not many people are coming in for ice cream, so the ice cream itself wasn't as creamy and had some ice chunks. I've come in the summer and thought the ice cream was delicious then. Give it a try if you're in the area!“

“These pretzels are so $&@#!% good! They pull them out of the oven and right into a vat of butter making the soft doughy goodness a vessel for butter and dreams. The pretzel dog is knee weakening, too. Can't go to reading terminal without grabbing at least one!“
“I honestly go out of my way to come to Stio’s and whenever possible. The different flavors of water ice and ice cream are not only fantastic, but unique as well. From ice cream and water ice made on site , to ice cream that they personally select from other small creators, you can’t go wrong with their options (Caramel sea salt truffle is a personal favorite). Their portions are fantastic and worth every penny, plus their sundaes are out of this world! I can’t recommend Stio’s highly enough.“

“Love this place and their soft serve! I like that they have their standard flavors, ube and matcha and two other seasonal flavors in rotation. Ube and matcha are must trys, I also really like the hojicha, and during the fall they had pumpkin spice and in the summer Thai ice tea. I've gotten their drinks as well but typically go here for their soft serve“
“THE Best water ice! Super cold, like extra cold! Water bottles super cold, too. That may sound weird, yet, it's true. AND I ordered a small, it was was of COLOSSAL PROPORTION, I was taken by surprise! I've been going here since a kid and they've only improved over the years. Very clean! The counter girl was delightful, smiley, and also very clean. Highly recommend!! Bring your friends!“
“This place is located on South Street. Luckily for me, this place has late night hours (1130pm is late hours for old me). I really find it fascinating how the ice cream is chopped, spread, and scrapped up into a rolled goodness. It is incredibly light and tastes amazing every time I get rolled ice cream from this place. The service was very amazing as well. The cashier was so friendly and gave me a good low down of the flavors available.“

“Absolutely amazing experience! The matcha latte was honestly the best quality I have ever tasted! All the food we ordered wasn't too sweet, and the matcha flavor itself was delicious! I was wary of a matcha overload, but it was perfect. The atmosphere is adorable too, and the matcha was in a cute green cup. I admire how even the ice cream cone wasn't the generic too-sweet cone. My kid brother loved the stuffed animals, and we will definitely come back!! ?“

“To be completely honest, I have not been here. I saw online about their Mother-to-be promotion and sent my expecting stepdaughter. They have a special for pregnant women at 8 months. She received the biggest ice cream cone and said it was really good ice cream!!! It made her day. We will of course pay this forward many times over now and after the baby is born. A new ice cream spot!!!! Please support this business for their generosity and family values!!!!!“
“Lived in Philly for 10 years and this is one of my favorite spots. This (and the Fishtown location) is the only place I know in Philly that serves yogorino yogurt. The owner is wonderful. On summer weekends they play a movie outside for kids and families. Plenty of outdoor seating. Yogorino!!!“

“Delicious ice cream, charming ambiance (moulin rouge-cirque du soleil vibes mixed with a daydream) and a diverse menu that would cater to whatever mood I’m in. Chris was awesome in breaking down all the options and served us up something tasty. Love this place!“

“My buddy told me about this place. I was in the area so figured I’d stop in.It’s a very tiny storefront, however it’s not out of the ordinary for places like this, especially in the city on a Main Street to be much bigger if at all. It has all that you need. I believe it had a wooden bench in there to sit and eat at. As well as 2 or 3 Bar-top kind of tables. Seating capacity is probably 8-10 at most.I can’t speak for anyone but one could only assume that most people are To-go’ing instead of dining in. However, it’s definitely an option. I sure did. I like the small quaint atmosphere. I enjoyed looking at the pictures on the wall, checking out the ice cream/milkshake flavors.Very unique place.Has your average milkshake flavored options, but also has some that you wouldn’t find in many other places. #supportsmallbusinesses“
“This is the best place I ever been in there is rolled ice cream, Boba tea and more. It’s awesome. You should go try it the reason why I need it has five stars because it’s amazing the food is great. The drinks are great everything about it is amazing you should try it. :)“
“Best water ice. Hands down best custard. I hope they never change anything about their water ice or custard, because it's perfect as it is. Way better than Rita's. Mama's Tea and beach please are the best water ice flavors if you can't decide. Staff is awesome, especially Robin ? The owner of this joint also owns Aramingo's best pizza shop across the street. Check them out too. Both places are the best around.“
“Very good homemade ice cream but a bit expensive. They have flavored soft serve ice cream. I had peach and it was very good. As I said they make their own ice cream. You can get cones, sundaes, shakes, and of course a Banana Split..Yum it is worth the extra money ????“
“Found this place while watching a youtuber food reviewer JL Jupiter. I'm so glad I drove 30min from Philly with my family to get a taste of Gelato from ??. The owners are so sweet and provided excellent customer service. Best Gelato ever tasted! Can't wait to come back and try the ricotta cheesecake. My family wants to try and visit this place more often especially during the summer. Love supporting small businesses, can't compare the quality and service. Pro tip: If your hungry grab a pizza pie at il fuoco dentro currently a food truck in the parking lot but soon to be located next to Regginas. Best combo!“
“I am so surprised at the low number of reviews for the Water Ice Station. It is an absolute staple here in Pitman. The water ice menu rotates flavors, but they almost always have vanilla, chocolate, cherry, and lemon. My personal favorites are the strawberry lemonade and the mango. They have soft-serve and hand-scooped ice cream as well. Pro-tip a gelati is the best of both worlds with any flavor water ice and any flavor ice cream you want. The owners are also so kind and the workers are usually just as kind local teens. Truly the best water ice anywhere close and great service.“
“Really love this place. I went there on a sweltering summer day to pick up an order my girlfriend had placed. There was a mixup finding the order (not their fault, I was working with incomplete information) but the staff was friendly and understanding the whole time. When we got it all resolved I was able to pick up what I went there for and got an ice cream sandwich for the road. Really delicious vegan Ice cream and cool folks! Float Dreamery is a great addition to the neighborhood and I'm looking forward to visiting again!“
“I went there tonight with my son and I ordered the ultimate sunday! I asked the guy not so much ice cream but more of the toppings and no lid. We sat in the car in front of the ice cream shop waiting for our order when I saw the girl bringing our order out to the car! WhaaaaaaT? I wasn't expecting that. That was so nice of her to do that what a service??? The Sunday was amazing! Just like I asked for. I've been coming here since I discovered them last week they have the best ice cream in town and they have the nicest employees! I wanna say thank u again to the girl who brought my order out to the car. U R awesome ?“

“I would highly recommend What's The Scoop. The owner, Stacy, was so kind and accommodating when I reached out about my daughter who has severe food allergies. The shop has thorough cleaning practices and took my concerns very seriously. She was very reassuring and made sure our needs were met. I have yet to find another place in this area who has been so attentive to our needs. She was wonderful and the ice cream was even better!“

“So good! The young ladies who took our orders and made our ice cream were so patient and nice, on 3/19/23 around 7:30pm (didn’t get their names lol) It was our first time at Cabana. “Would have given 5 stars if the place was open until 10pm. I showed up at 9:39pm n they were closed. They normally are open on the weekends and MABY one day during the week! Besides inaccurate hours of operation, the service is superb, ice cream is amazing and not over priced and the waits never too long !! Highly recommend this spot for the great quality and quantity of the products!! Just make sure u call before the drive over, most times they r closed..“

“Thanks to their Princeton location, I'm pretty familiar with the Yapple franchise, but now that one has opened up a lot closer to me, this has quickly become my favorite go-to froyo spot. But what sets this place apart is its unique and refreshing selection of flavors. It's a welcome departure from the overly sweet options at other frozen yogurt spots. Plus, the store is clean, well-lit, and spacious, creating a comfortable environment whether you want to enjoy your treat indoors or bask in the charming ambiance of Haddonfield outdoors.Speaking of Haddonfield, it's a picturesque town that blends the charm of a smaller-sized Princeton with a subtle beach town chill vibe. Parking can be tricky on the main street, but the good news is that plenty of side streets are easier to access. Parking is free after 6pm and on Saturdays and Sundays on those side streets.Sunday evening is my sweet spot when foot traffic winds down, and the dimly lit walkways create a cozy atmosphere. It's an ideal date spot, especially if you've just dined at one of the many restaurants within walking distance around the corner.Regarding flavors... the jasmine green tea stands out with just the right balance of subtle sweetness and that delicate jasmine undertone. However, be mindful if you're sensitive to caffeine, as it's made with real green tea powder. I adore mixing the mint with vanilla for a perfect harmony of sweetness and freshness. The sweetness level across most of their flavors is spot on, and the fresh toppings bar is packed with plenty of options to customize your creation. For the value-conscious, two average-sized cups of froyo usually cost about $12-13. Be sure to ask for a frequent shopper card to earn rewards on your purchases.“

“I forgot pizza could taste this good! I decided to drop by after work for Winter Restaurant Week because I was craving pizza. The restaurant is small but decorated beautifully (for Valentine’s Day this time of year!)I decided to sit at the bar and although my bartender/waiter was a little distant at first, he ended up warming up and was friendly. Also, everyone I spoke to talked to happened to be regulars and knew most of the staff on a first name basis! Overall, the vibe was very comfortable and people seemed so happen to be here! The food was outstanding! I especially loved the cacio and pepe gnocchi fritti because they were so warm and light. The carbonara pizza was also an obvious star! It really captures that carbonara taste and the pancetta actually tasted like authentic pancetta (I lived in Italy for a bit so I'm especially particular about this!). I also loved how the pizza was presented and ended up taking some home with me because there was so much! It's definitely pricey but worth every bite!Overall, I am excited to come back and have about ten different things I want to try next from all of the recommendations I got!“

“Many people have "must visit" places in the Reading Terminal Market. For us, it's Bassett's Ice Cream! It really is the best ice cream anywhere but serve it in the Market, with the greatest staff and this why we stop any time of year! Today, it was low 20s outside, did we care, NO, we had to have our Bassett's!“
“We love supporting small businesses! This small corner store located in the Italian Market is a great place to stop by for dessert. There is also a dessert spot across the street. I'll need to do a comparison on which is better soon!I had to crop the picture so I had something to write a review about lol. We got Guava with cream ice cream and this was very light! Probably around $3 for a small. We also got Mango Loco ($8), which seems to be a popular dessert. I only recommend this if you like sour foods. This is my terrible way of describing it: The mango is cut up, but it seems to be a sour mango. There are pieces of candy peanut, and sour gummies(?)/candy in it. The thing sticking out is a straw covered with a sour candy. The entire thing is drenched in Chamoy, Tajin, and Valentina (i think). The store also sells fruit, strawberries and cream, fresh potato chips, fry-ums (?), pina colada, shortbet, smoothies, candy, and so much more!I've been to Mexico City and the store felt like I was back in Mexico. The ladies who work there are also sweet!“
