“Been coming here since the past 3 years. Fidel is absolutely amazing always makes everything fresh. The sauces specifically that spicy one hits so hard. Your tummy will thank you after coming to these guys !

“Food was great as expected. Corn salad was a little smaller than in the past at other locations. The cheese flautas rocked.

Not as good as their Rt 17 location. Better than the Belleville Ave location.
They could probably stand to swap staff more between locations to help improve consistency and train employees.
One person I was with lamented the lack of diet sodas.“

“Our children mentioned many times Los Tacos No. 1 has the best tacos in NYC. Son and daughter in-law visited so ran over and grabbed Steak, chicken and pork tacos with the works. They were as good as advertised. The place was busy but the line moved fast. Staff was efficient and courteous. Definitely will return for more!!“

“My husband and I first heard about this place from King Schratz and I’m so glad we did!

Yes, like others have mentioned, it is a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. The food is consistently delicious and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My husband loves their tacos and burrito, and I’m a big fan of their elotes, tacos and taco bowls. Even my 79-year-old mother, who normally isn’t a fan of Mexican food, loves theirs. That alone says a lot!

Their tres leches is also incredible. I’ve sampled a lot of tres leches cakes in my life and theirs easily jumped to the top of my list.

Beyond the food, the customer service is just as impressive. Two of the owners, Jay and Kike, are always so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They even offer delivery, and their driver, Juan, is just as awesome! In this day and age, it’s rare to find a Mexican spot that’s both authentic and Latino-owned... and Just Tacos is exactly that. We’re more than happy to keep supporting them!“

I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

“Don't get me started on this resturaunt. If I die of a heart attack, it WILL be because I eat too much food here. And I'd die HAPPY. This resturaunt is exquisite and potentially some of the best Mexican food in the county. First, you can get Mexican Coke. Second, the seasoning they use might as well be sold by it's own. But they tasted divine! That said, the shrimp tacos are my favorite here. It's hard to pick what to get, but everything tastes good and fresh and flavorful. Friendly but efficient staff. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the price per taco, but in this part of the city, that's hard to avoid.“

“Decided to come around noon to try their 8.95 breakfast special and was helped by Allen. He was pleasant and respectful. The store is clean, bright and breezy during the day and makes you forget about how dirty grove street area is! “If you want an amazing taco, hit up The Hive for Taco Tuesday or any night!!! Simple and very tasty tacos at a very reasonable price. My favorite is the chicken and they are $3 a piece on Tuesday. They also have a beat the clock special for margaritas starting at 4:00. Jessica and Hamsel were super attentive and very friendly. Bar is clean and organized. “Al pastor and fish tacos were superb, birria taco was underwhelming and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I did notice the Al pastor used what was probably a cheaper cut of meat, but they make up for it with balanced seasoning and filling ingredients + generous avocado salsa“

My girlfriend had a regular margarita before the food came and a passion fruit margarita after the food. We started with chicharron con tostones and guacamole. Was apprehensive to try the tostones as I’ve never had them, glad I did. Tacos Tuesday is $1 tacos for chicken, steak, and carnitas. Minimum of 5 and you can mix and match. We had a combination of all 3. They were very good, maybe just a bit too much onion, but you remove some. We also had the Birria tacos! A must have.“
