“Been coming here since the past 3 years. Fidel is absolutely amazing always makes everything fresh. The sauces specifically that spicy one hits so hard. Your tummy will thank you after coming to these guys !

“Food was great as expected. Corn salad was a little smaller than in the past at other locations. The cheese flautas rocked.

Not as good as their Rt 17 location. Better than the Belleville Ave location.
They could probably stand to swap staff more between locations to help improve consistency and train employees.
One person I was with lamented the lack of diet sodas.“

“I visited this place for the first time, and they have some of the most delicious chicken and beef bowls I’ve ever had. The food was excellent, the location is great with plenty of parking, and the flavors were outstanding. This is definitely a spot everyone should visit whenever they’re in the area.“

“Our children mentioned many times Los Tacos No. 1 has the best tacos in NYC. Son and daughter in-law visited so ran over and grabbed Steak, chicken and pork tacos with the works. They were as good as advertised. The place was busy but the line moved fast. Staff was efficient and courteous. Definitely will return for more!!“

“I live in the area and love trying out local restaurants, Taquerua La Casita did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, wel lit and busy. Its a small place, but small places tend to be masters of their craft. I got two orders of tacos, tacos al pastor and tacos de costilla (recommended by the employee working he counter). Both were great, fresh and bold flavors. The pastor came with a slice of pineapple on top which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Verde sauce that came with the order. I will definitely return in the future. Thanks for the awesome food. I want to try every item on the menu 🙂“

“The perfect little taco truck! No fuss, just straight up delicious tacos. I ordered 2 birria tacos and blueberry lemonade, both were so good I wanted more! Consomé for the birria is yummy - just the right amount of flavor/salt balance. I will definitely be coming back!“

Yes, like others have mentioned, it is a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. The food is consistently delicious and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My husband loves their tacos and burrito, and I’m a big fan of their elotes, tacos and taco bowls. Even my 79-year-old mother, who normally isn’t a fan of Mexican food, loves theirs. That alone says a lot!

Their tres leches is also incredible. I’ve sampled a lot of tres leches cakes in my life and theirs easily jumped to the top of my list.

Beyond the food, the customer service is just as impressive. Two of the owners, Jay and Kike, are always so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They even offer delivery, and their driver, Juan, is just as awesome! In this day and age, it’s rare to find a Mexican spot that’s both authentic and Latino-owned... and Just Tacos is exactly that. We’re more than happy to keep supporting them!“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. “Delicious, but pricey. Small little shop with minimal indoor and outdoor seating, but I got my tacos to go. The al pastor is delicious, but the meat was just a little tough in my opinion. But they tasted divine! That said, the shrimp tacos are my favorite here. It's hard to pick what to get, but everything tastes good and fresh and flavorful. Friendly but efficient staff. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the price per taco, but in this part of the city, that's hard to avoid.“

“Decided to come around noon to try their 8.95 breakfast special and was helped by Allen. He was pleasant and respectful. The store is clean, bright and breezy during the day and makes you forget about how dirty grove street area is! The burrito was filling and came with crispy home fries AND they offered free coffee which was decent! They even had oat milk. You really can’t beat the price especially in this area“

I did notice the Al pastor used what was probably a cheaper cut of meat, but they make up for it with balanced seasoning and filling ingredients + generous avocado salsa“

“My eight year old is very picky. Very picky. And I want him to understand that Taco Bell is not Mexican food. So we went in hopes he would at least try some real tacos. Well, he did. I don’t know how you did it, El Macho but he polished off a full plate of four carnitas tacos! The waitress was nice enough to just give him meat and added cheese but he devoured them.
