“If you are looking for a quick easy lunch , I would definitely come here. Their cheese steaks feel right at home. They feel like they were made right in your kitchen. The tacos are absolutely delicious! I have no complaints and with that being said, you should definitely come here. Not only that but timing wise, let me tell you order it and then you turn around the gentleman’s already packing it up. This is my new favorite lunch spot!“

Not as good as their Rt 17 location. Better than the Belleville Ave location.
They could probably stand to swap staff more between locations to help improve consistency and train employees.

“I visited this place for the first time, and they have some of the most delicious chicken and beef bowls I’ve ever had. The food was excellent, the location is great with plenty of parking, and the flavors were outstanding. This is definitely a spot everyone should visit whenever they’re in the area.“

“Our children mentioned many times Los Tacos No. 1 has the best tacos in NYC. Son and daughter in-law visited so ran over and grabbed Steak, chicken and pork tacos with the works. “I live in the area and love trying out local restaurants, Taquerua La Casita did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, wel lit and busy. Its a small place, but small places tend to be masters of their craft. I got two orders of tacos, tacos al pastor and tacos de costilla (recommended by the employee working he counter). Both were great, fresh and bold flavors. The pastor came with a slice of pineapple on top which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Verde sauce that came with the order. I will definitely return in the future. Thanks for the awesome food. I want to try every item on the menu 🙂“

“The perfect little taco truck! No fuss, just straight up delicious tacos. I ordered 2 birria tacos and blueberry lemonade, both were so good I wanted more! Consomé for the birria is yummy - just the right amount of flavor/salt balance. I will definitely be coming back!“

“My husband and I first heard about this place from King Schratz and I’m so glad we did!

Yes, like others have mentioned, it is a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. The food is consistently delicious and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My husband loves their tacos and burrito, and I’m a big fan of their elotes, tacos and taco bowls. Even my 79-year-old mother, who normally isn’t a fan of Mexican food, loves theirs. That alone says a lot!

Their tres leches is also incredible. I’ve sampled a lot of tres leches cakes in my life and theirs easily jumped to the top of my list.

Beyond the food, the customer service is just as impressive. Two of the owners, Jay and Kike, are always so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They even offer delivery, and their driver, Juan, is just as awesome! In this day and age, it’s rare to find a Mexican spot that’s both authentic and Latino-owned... and Just Tacos is exactly that. We’re more than happy to keep supporting them!“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. Great friendly service with outstanding food. “Excellent shrimp tacos on corn tortillas (the flour isn't as good!). I liked them better without the guacamole sauce and instead with some of the cilantro sauce that's on the tables. Chicken taco was good too but much greasier and that matters to me atm so for anyone else wondering there's that. Really I'd give them 4.5 stars because they're at los tacos no 1 prices and not quite at that level - but considering I find myself walking by these guys often I'll absolutely duck in here more often!“

I did notice the Al pastor used what was probably a cheaper cut of meat, but they make up for it with balanced seasoning and filling ingredients + generous avocado salsa“

“My eight year old is very picky. Very picky. And I want him to understand that Taco Bell is not Mexican food. So we went in hopes he would at least try some real tacos. Well, he did. I don’t know how you did it, El Macho but he polished off a full plate of four carnitas tacos! The waitress was nice enough to just give him meat and added cheese but he devoured them. “I’ve had the privilege to spend a great deal of time in Texas, Mexico, New Mexico, and California. All places with an excellent food culture. In the northeast I gave up on finding good tacos, bbq, and gumbo. This place is the exception to the rule (for tacos). 10/10. I don’t know what else I can say to convince you. It is worth a pilgrimage. Get the cochinitas pibil. You deserve the deliciousness, and they deserve the business“

“The food here is phenomenal, not a lot of places make anything with birria and a lot that do don’t have the best taste, but this place makes fantastic birria tacos and quesadillas. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because a couple of times that I have ordered birria quesadillas for delivery, they forgot the birria broth.“
