The tacos are absolutely delicious! I have no complaints and with that being said, you should definitely come here. Not only that but timing wise, let me tell you order it and then you turn around the gentleman’s already packing it up. This is my new favorite lunch spot!“

“The other day I got, Goody Restaurant, for lunch. I had ordered their Maryland Style Shrimp w/ Black Bean Rice & their Shrimp Yat Gaw Mein Soup to wash it down. It was so damn good! The Shrimp Yat Gaw Mein Soup was phenomenal. Excellent flavor, great shrimp to veggies ratio, and the noodles were fantastic. Absolutely loved the Shrimp Yat Gaw Mein Soup! The Maryland Style Shrimp w/ Black Bean Rice was pretty decent as well too. Honestly did not like the Black Bean Rice. It tasted as though it’s not ordered often and shows. The Maryland Style Shrimp on the other hand was pretty damn good. It’s lightly breaded and fried shrimp with seafood seasoning. It also comes with a dipping sauce, which my guess would be an Italian Dressing with Asian spices and herbs added to it. The sauce was an excellent compliment to the Maryland Style Shrimp! The lady who took my order was kind and very attentive. She even made sure my order was correct by making sure to add chopsticks to my order! I’d HIGHLY recommend, Goody Restaurant, to anyone in the Newark/Belleville area looking for some excellent Chinese Food. Stay away from the Black Bean Rice, but the Maryland Style Shrimp & the Shrimp Yat Gaw Mein Soup is a MUST TRY!“

“Great Newark style fried chicken. Cheap good hard ice-cream. Their halal meat plates over rice and salad w/ white sauce are great. The Italian style Cheesesteaks is a classic. Don't leave without a Jamaican beef Patty.

“First it was a rainy day. They were busy. Young lady let's us know it was an 30 min wait. I was not rushed to order. She was very pleasant and patient. I ordered shrimp Egg Foo Young and beef Egg Foo young. The beef was so tender and the shrimp are nice big ones. And the brown gravy was delicious. If I could give 10 stats I would. Even with the wait time.“

“I would have given 5 stars because the good is real good but when I got home I was told my combo would come with 2 beef ribs and I only had one. When I called they said my combo only comes with one but that's not what I was told. But otherwise the food is good.“

“We were visiting family close by the restaurant and my daughter highly recommended Brix. We went on Tuesday evening and really enjoyed the pizza and returned on Thursday for the Prime Rib. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic, and all in all would definitely return when we come to visit again.“

“This is probably the best Chinese take out spot in Belleville/North Newark. I order from nowhere else but here. The food is always great and the store is always well maintained and clean. Parking on the side available. My favorite dish is chicken broccoli combination, or the General Tso chicken.“

“I like the place, it's definitely as advertised Dominican food. I had a steak and onion meal and it was fairly good. The cut had a little muscle which normally you don't get with that cut but it was fine. They only had two avocados and they were not ready so they didn't serve them which was nice but it would have been nice if they had it. The drink selection is somewhat Limited, and they do not have a liquor license.The server spoke English in Spanish was gentle on the eyes and attentive to our needs. Perfect service.The place at the time was somewhat empty for no good reason maybe it just looked that way because it's very large. The area is very clean and was comfortable to eat in. I like how many windows there are.

Parking: There are meters outside which depending on the time you may or may not have to pay.
