“How hard is it find a good local bagel in NJ ? This wasn't a question I thought I would have to ask when I moved here 5 years ago. My bagelcoaster quest has taken me from mediocre to stale bodega bad. On a whim, I ordered from Bagels and More in Bergenfield. They delivered, literally and with the quality of their bagels. I order two bagels for research purposes. The sesame with scallion cream cheese was the perfect texture . Soft on the inside and had the coveted bagel "shell" on the outside. My second choice was an everything bagel with butter. The perfect amount of everything seasoning was added, giving the bagel flavor without making a mess. For a drink, I got an iced coffee. Through Tristate deli magic, it tasted exactly the same as every other bagel shops iced coffee. Comforting and tasty. Not sure why they all taste the same. Do I really want to know? That is a quest for another time. Try Bagels and More in Bergenfield, you will not be disappointed.“

“I always get great service in this place. The food is fantastic (especially for the price). Their salads are made fresh on the spot... they cut everything fresh as they need em... they don't store the lettuce pre cut in tubs like most restaurants do. This is just an example of what sets Ben's apart from most places. Now, yes, I know they pride themselves for their bagels, but truth be told, I don't eat bagels... but my wife LOVES their bagels. -Boots“

I purchased here a few times via the TGTG app and purchased bagels and their delicious home made assorted flavor cream cheeses. “Pretty busy bagel shop (Sun Late Morning) that turned out some sandwiches much faster than expected. Taylor Ham (pork roll) egg and cheese was Awesome! 3 generous cut pieces of pork roll (didn't have to order extra meat) w and egg over medium and gooey gooey cheese. Bagel itself was delish. Well worth the $9. Wife's bagel w scallion cream cheese and tomato had EXCESSIVE amount of cream cheese. But that can be fixed with the correct order verbiage on our side of the counter, no reduction as the bagel itself was again, delish.“

I found the bagels to be soft enough for my kid which was a big deal for him.

Ordered two iced macchiatos without the sugar which was really good

The lady at the register was sweet and welcoming.

It got busy and they handled it really well, it wasn’t a mad house like some places get.“

“Kind of an awkward location. Really solid bagels. Surprisingly fluffy but dense with flavor their bagels beat out a lot of other places locally. Fair prices and they stuff the breakfast sandwiches pretty good. Steak egg and cheese is awesome.“

“I stopped here on a whim driving home and I’m so glad I did. Super friendly workers who asked how I was while they were making my order and one even brought my bag of food to me as I was waiting by the front door.

We ordered the Chipotle Chicken and Chino’s Special subs to go (hero sizes). Both were incredible! The CC had a really nice kick to it and complimented the crispy chicken cutlet very well. Chino’s Special was my favorite - a messy sub with a generous helping of turkey meat with a runny egg.

My family of 3 wished we had more space in our stomachs to finish everything. The hero sized subs are large, and absolutely worth the price especially with similar restaurants charging the same, if not more, for a mediocre sub. We will be back for more!“

“I've lived within many areas in the NYC greater area over the years. As you can imagine I've had many bagels along the way. I'm happy to have found this bagel spot. They are some of the best bagels you can find on both sides of the Hudson River! Truly amazing bagels!!! “Broadway Bagel is good for a lot of things but it's better to tell you what its not good for because it's smaller. their pastrami, very chewy & fatty. I got a wrap & was horrible because I was fighting with the pastrami to bite off a piece & then getting fat in your mouth is disgusting. At times when I get a breakfast sandwich with bacon it's like that's when they choose to hide fatty bacon instead of giving you well cooked bacon. How does an establishment do that to their customers? The tuna wrap w/ French fries, I usually order but now they're adding lettuce when before it was onions & avocado now they're putting celery & adding lettuce. why did they mess with such a great sandwich? Certain staff I work with like their blueberry pancakes, homefries, BLT. But like I said too many times I bought a BLT & it was filled with a lot of fatty bacon. I look at my food before I eat it. They used to have different flavors of OJ, Mango/Pineapple, Strawberry/Banana/Orange, but now all they have is regular OJ. They're changing how they made stuff and they changed the working crew so all I can say is I mostly get breakfast. It's hit & Miss for a lot of things because I like my food the way anyone having a business should make the food for their customers; with love & as best as possible.“

“I found this gem of a spot when visiting family in NJ. This has to be the best I’ve had since becoming celiac 6 years ago. The bakery items are to die for and the bagel breakfast sandwiches are the best ever. I got to stop in this past weekend and got a few goodies to bring home. “Some of the best hand rolled bagels in NJ. Great crisp crust and wonderfully chewy textured inside. For those that are complaining they do not have a griddle, I believe they have a Kosher certification which means no meat can be served here since they use cream cheese (dairy). This was our go to bagel place when we lived in Fair Lawn, now we live in SC, and we come here to stock up on bagels to take south on every visit to NJ.“

“So after being in New Jersey and going to about 8 bagel shops, I guess this is the one. So... I pull up and the first thing you will notice, parking is an issue. Luckily, people are coming and going so it took around 5 minutes to attain a parking spot. From the look of things, there may have been a parking lot in front of thee establishment before but it would seem that they decided to fill the parking lot with outdoor seating. From speaking to a patron, I understand because he told me that he always walks to the place. So on a nice day, I suppose the outdoor seating is great. You go inside and it's a small space and they have a few tables and chairs inside as well.

Inside and I'm in a line. Probably about 8 people ahead of me. I'm already thinking that these bagels must be damn good. Took about 10 minutes until I put my order in. In total I spent about 25 minutes at this spot. As I'm leaving, there are more people in line than when I got there. Just from seeing the bagels, they look soft and fresh. Just happy to have found the place. I get home and the bagels are just as good as they look. This clean bagel shop comes highly recommended and will be back! Great job guys!“

“Yesterday, TO GO, had two scrambled eggs with American cheese on an untoasted plain croissant. Ordered with no salt, pepper, ketchup. Drove to ShopRite Pal Park, exited vehicle with bagged sandwich and a cold can of seltzer. Unwrapped foil - PERFECTION! Warmed croissant, melted cheese (they use 2 slices!) and soft, fluffy scrambled eggs! Ate half, shopped, returned to vehicle, finished sandwich - still warm! Many thanks!!
