“I love this place! Not only is the food so good and diverse (with crabmeat salad offered as an option), but the refrigerator is homely and welcoming, and the staff is so kind.
When I had ordered a custom made bowl online, and one of the staff members thought that it wasn't enough in proportion to what I'd paid, she personally called me to give me options to make sure that I'd get the full bang for my buck!
The restaurant has a nice environment as well. Overall, I love it.“

“I’d been searching for a BBQ caterer in NJ for a birthday party and feel like I hit the jackpot with Jersey Joe’s. Cindy was helpful and very busy but I was able to place my order after a few days of going back and forth. Everyone at the party was floored by how good the food was! The Alabama chicken wings were delicious and had a nice kick. The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful, grateful that they came without bbq sauce so that it could be added as desired. They also included extra sauces when requested which was great. The chopped chicken was tasty. The street corn blew everyone away, it was that good! The potato salad was solid and the cornbread was abundant. The mac and cheese was delish and we’re glad we added the breadcrumbs like the kid delivering the food suggested. Speaking of which, the delivery was the best I have ever experienced. He brought the food in, placed them in the warmers, filled them with water, and lit the sternos. He deserves a raise and promotion for his customer service, I only wish I remember his name. I highly recommend Jersey Joe’s and will be using them again in the future along with many of the guests at our party!“

“Everything about was straight up PERFECTIOÑA!!! My server Camille was on point & was 5 star worthy!!! She made sure I was doing alright with my food, always have a smile on her face, and everything in her performance was everything to perfection at Texas Roadhouse!! I know I work there, but no other can beat TXRH North Plainfield!! They always give their 210% everyday, and we always deliver the best over here!! Love this place since 2015!!“

“A place that surprised me; a spectacular octopus, its texture perfect, served on a bed of al dente vegetables and delicious potatoes. Actually from the bread and the house olives which are a spectacle. Going through their traditional Portuguese wines, everything was more than wonderful. Price quality ratio 10/10. “This was my first time ordering this restaurant through a delivery service. This food was very delicious. It was a little pricey BUT when we received the order there was plenty of it. It was so satisfying. I ordered the fried fish filet with rice and fries and also ordered mixed meats with rice and beans. The meats were are seasoned nicely, the food arrived hot, well packaged and again there was plenty of it. Thank you for 28 Bbq for having nice options, packing the food very thoroughly. I will be ordering from here again. I can eat this food everyday forever lol. Kudos to you!! I recommend to everyone, definitely need to try it out.“

“Great neighborhood Portuguese restaurant. The place is small and sometimes there is a wait but it's worth the wait. The food is delicious and consistent. The sangria is great and a must-have with anything you order. The service on this particular day was slow, but the staff is young, so have some patience. Takeout is also very popular so you know the secret is out...this place has great food!“

“The food was excellent. We tried their mixed grill, seekh kebabs, and fried fish, all of which were flavorful and delicious. Special appreciation goes to Chef Rizwan for his expertise in crafting such great dishes, and to Shahnawaz for providing excellent service. However, be cautious with takeout orders, as the lady overcharged and claimed that takeout prices are different from those listed on the menu.“
